  1. Cool sig, I like it. I kind of think the extra text (other than your name) takes away from it, otherwise it's nice and simple.
  2. Search the forums and Google for this, as there are thousands of good sources. Look on the tutorials sticky at the top of this board as well.
  3. I don't like new rap, like the stuff you hear on the radio, but I like some underground stuff. It's like so much more in-depth with things other than killing thugs and being in the club and whatnot. Some of the beats are pretty much amazing and the rythms they come up with are good. Now I pretty much listen to rock (except for the said rap), and most of it is indy rock, which is pretty much every uncategorized rock style. I like old stuff and new stuff. Again, I don't really like mainstream stuff, not because it's mainstream, but most of it just doesn't appeal to me. Actually, yay for Phil being active as a good mod.
  4. The thing with cigarettes are that they are trrribly addictive and people just deny their health issues until they get out of hand, and they place the blame on someone else. They are just suing because they want some extra money as far as I'm concerned. There's no possible way that a person could not know the health effects of smoking. If it wasn't advertised pretty much everywhere, including the pack that they are sold in, then a little bit of observation should be enough, i.e., W"hy am I coughing so often? Why am I always short of breath?" Healthcare shouldn't cover things like this, just as insurance doesn't cover things which were diagnosed before the claim was made. If you're willing to smoke/eat large amounts of unhealthy food, then you should be willing to pay the consequences, even if it's a $150,000+ bill for lung cancer treatment.
  5. Consider the announcement made. This issue was discussed and it was mentioned that sig sales were allowed because they are part of the forums, and they show a bit of personality or whatever you wish to call it. Websites, wallpapers, etc., don't effect the forums, therefore we don't want to allow the sales of them on the site.
  6. Is there any reason to be arguing over this?
  7. Sounds like adreniline pumping into the body. Not much you can do for that, its pretty much out of your control, unless you can somehow trick your body into not caring for whats happening. I'd suggest not repeating that situation if you don't like it.
  8. I don't really have many habits like those... I have to have a pillow or something on my stomach when I sleep, even if laying on my back. I can't call it a habit, but I seriously am uncomfortable without something there, but I can get by. Has something to do with the fetal position at birth I think.
  9. This belongs in Media Discussion. I didn't move it because you posted a "Bad link," and who knows where that leads to.
  10. This is just advertising, and it appears you're advertising ripped work. If you wish to advertise legitimate stuff, use the sticky found in the Off-Topic board. Otherwise, posts like this are not acceptable here. Thanks for understanding.
  11. All requests for art beling on the Media Market. You might want to offer payment as well with your request.
  12. Advertising is not allowed on this forum. If you wish to advertise a site, use the sticky found in the Off-Topic section of these forums.
  13. I've never had an "emo" year... Never been depressed. Sure there was a time many years ago where I didn't really know how to react socially, but I'd hardly call that a social slump rather than a period of preparation, because that's all it really did-- Make me stronger socially. I've never been anti-social either, just some times I don't want to talk to people and other times I'm really talkative, depends on the mood.
  14. Since the author realized his mistake, I don't need to say anything...
  15. I change my favorite every once in a while, but as of now it's General by Dispatch.
  16. I can't ever like the taste of coffee, and I like tea. Herbal teas are good at night and green tea in the morning, nothing in them. I tried that Lipton bottled green tea the other day, and it was horribly sweet. It's just as bad sugar-wise as drinking a soda.
  17. Please use the sticky specifically for testing sigs, found at the top of this board.
  18. I brush my teeth once a day, at night. I don't normally use mouthwash, but occasionally I do if there's a particular reason to. I floss probably once a week or when needed (which is pretty much every time I eat meat). I've never had a cavity, filling, root canal, gum problems, etc. I had braces, but that has nothing to do with the frequency which I brush my teeth. I just can't stand that feeling of having plaque on my teeth :?.
  19. I've never been in an accident really, and I have to place some of that luck on what I consider good driving on my dad's part (my mom is decent at driving, but she's been in a serious accident in the last five or six years, and doesn't really pay attention to driving). I've been in numerous situations with my dad and I know that if I was driving or my mom was I would have definately been in an accident. Closest to an accident I've had is sitting in the back seat of my mom's car a few years ago in the parking lot of a 7-11 and some guy in a big truck just backs up and hits pretty much right where I'm sitting. I just sat there and watched the whole thing, it's a good thing it didn't go through the car or anything. Did pretty substantial damage, to the point where when she drove over a bump it would go to the tire and the tire would actually get cut by the bent sidewall. We've been rear ended once too, we were pulling a trailer and someone was right on the bumper, to the point of where he wasn't visible. My dad had to make a quick stop so he did, we just stopped and then the whole rig jolted and we moved forward like 3 or 4 inches. The guy was uninstured, possibly under the influence of something, and he did minimal damage to our trailer compared to the damage done to his truck (it was leaking bad, screeching, etc.) My dad just kind of said, ok, whatever, he didn't want to be bothered on out weekend camping trip.
  20. Ebay makes money on their sales, because they get money for each sale made. Look at all of the items on Ebay, and you'll see that even pennies per sale adds up to a lot of money. Google does a lot more than search engines. The advertising is where they make their money. For example, you go to a site and it has Google's Adwords. Ever wonder why those particular sites are advertised in the advertisement? It's because they are the companies that pay the most. Google pays a lot less than they are getting paid to put their ads on your site, so they make a lot of money. Next, when you search something, the first site that comes up isn't just a coincidence. That company paid a lot of money to Google to be first on the list when certain keywords are searched. It all adds up. The internet is a vast place, so the possibilites are almost endless as to how many advertisements they can do, etc.
  21. I don't know of any robberies or break-ins in the area, but we always have the doors locked, home or away. Well the door to the garage is unlocked except at night, because we're constantly going in and out. Front door is locked too. In the summer when we have windows or doors open, needless to say we leave them unlocked during that time, but not at night except for a few windows. It's just easier, if they have to be locked later anyway, to just keep them locked unless there's a reason for them not to be. Besides, locks are expensive and we wouldn't want them to go to waste :P.
  22. I'd put the contacts in first. I've been wearing them for something like the last six years, and in the morning I shower, dry off, then put contacts in and proceed to the rest of getting ready, so hands are still clean and stuff.
  23. Thanks for the help. Deleted the item, couldn't find it in my Windows directory. It made it a little bit better, but there still seems to be a short period where it's not working well, not to mention the cookie problems still. Any possible solution for that?
