    Birthdays.

I haven't had a real birthday "party" since I was like 8, and that was a bunch of friends went camping with my family and I. Since then it's just like my parents and any other close family/friends get me a little something and usually we go out to dinner and I take it easy. Sometimes we go camping or whatever, but no parties. I think I'll have one for my next.
  2. Well I already see that this post will be flamed, and it doesn't encourage very good discussion since it's such a broad spectrum.
  3. Well a router restart seems to have done it, I guess I know what to do next time. Thanks for the help :).
  4. When I wanted to log into MSN Messenger this morning, it didn't work for some reason. I thought it was because the service was out, but a simple check said it was up and running. Next I wanted to use the Web MSN Messenger, and that didn't work either, as the page kept timing out when trying to go to the passport login. Hotmail won't load up for me either. All other pages and programs work fine for me. I tried turning off my firewall and still there were problems, but I still think it has something to do with the firewall, but I really have no idea where to go from here. Maybe it's a port being blocked or something. Everything worked flawlessly just last night. Any suggestions?

  6. Moved this to Tech and Computers where you'll probably get more help.
  7. Since I can't read that, I'm going to assume it's an error report. I guess if it's not effecting gameplay don't worry about it, but if it is, then reinstall steam (be sure to backup your gameplay files), then reinstall HL2 and CS:S.

    Scrubs

I like it a lot, been watching it on and off since it first started playing.
  9. Post on the other topic please.
  10. Sorry, payment for this sort of thing isn't allowed. Not to mention that it's probably something you shouldn't be doing, streaming a URL from another site.
  11. Private islands are moderately cheap depending on location, but to actually live there it takes an incredibly wealthy person. You need a way of transportation, be it boat or helicoptor, either way it's kind of pricy. Then you need a home there, and getting it built is the expensive thing because workers need to come from mainland to work and shipping supplies... Then getting power, running a generator is a bit impractical but the only way. You'd need to filter water, etc. That said, when I'm rich I'm getting an island.
  12. Yup, I don't think it's possible to buy an island without a mother country that has claimed it, and I don't think you can buy their name from it. Most times you can rename it to whatever you want, but I don't think you can break any laws even if it's harder to catch you.

    Music sites

I thought I'd share these. If you like finding new music and exploring like I do, here are a couple of good sites: Pandora - Really cool because you can type in an artist you like and it will let you listen to other things that it finds similar. At least it's a good online radio. LivePlasma - Crates a map of artists similar to whatever you type in and gives relevence. Cool but not as good as Pandora. I always go from here to iTunes and listen to the 30 second preview of whatever artist is similar to whomever I typed in. Feel free to add to the list.
  14. It's always cool to have the polls up and running. The issue here is finding something that everyone can relate to, so no local things (people in Japan get different TV shows than people in America). I can't think of anything other than what has been mentioned.
  15. I like spicy foods a lot but especially when it has a good flavor. Some peppers can have taste and heat, where others just totally burn your mouth and you can't taste anything. A mixture of both is good. I put hot sauce on like anything that it goes good with too.
  16. That camera looks like a winner, wonder how long until these things go on sale? That computer is pretty cool, but I don't think we'll be seeing it in the weekly Dell ads that are in the newspaper for anything cheap :P.
  17. I like D'yer M'ker a lot, Kashmir is good, and so is Going to California. I can't pay attention long enough anymore to listen to the whole Stairway to Heaven, it's just too long and my music listening time can be spent listening to other better songs :).
  18. The army is necessary, but I think it should definately be one's choice to join up or not. I guess I wouldn't mind doing actual fighting or whatever, I'd definately avoid it, but I would do what's required of me. I don't like the idea of getting molded unto this robot that all army guys seem to be. It's necessary though for some, some guys love it, but it's not for me. The experiences would be great, and the stories you'd get out of it... But if you don't make it out alive, it's just not the same. I'd almost just like to go through the army's training just to experience it, but war isn't for me.
  19. Yep, sorry, going to have to lock this as Limewire is just a piracy program.
  20. Well I think you're speaking of a referral site, that's probably why it's censored. So that means discussion of it wouldn't be allowed either.
  21. He probably spent most of it on lawyers and other services for his money. Either way he made a bit, but it's not like it could be a career for him, it's kind of a one time shot.
  22. The biggest reason I'd go with Dell is the prices advertised, they have complete systems that are reasonably good numbers for under $500. Sometimes the monitor they come with costs half of that if bought seperately.
  23. I kind of have a thing for things on the right than the left. Like given a choice of two things and only a second to choose, I usually subconsciously choose whatever is on the right. It's hardly an effect on my daily life though :P.
