I went out of town and we stayed in the nice area of the city (San Jose) and I got a couple of shots. There was enormous potential in the area but I just couldn't turn them into good shots. If you want to see some nice cars though, I got a few good pictures of them :P. Going there next weekend again though, hopefully I will come up with something more. This was just an attempt at a still life with a flower and phone in the hotel. This was on a wall in the area.

That car is a Maybach Exelero, and they only made one of those and it was for a tire company, Fulda. They made the car for the tire, and the tire was capable of high speeds but for a street car. They paid loads of money for it (much more than $1,000,000 to get it designed, deveoped, and built). Don't think Trump has it :P. He might have a Maybach 57 or 62 however.

Realistically, a BMW M3. Dreaming, probably a Bugatti Veyron (the one Bubsa posted :P). $1.2 million, if you can get it, so much more than that probably. But it goes 254 mph.

Thanks for the comments. As for the first one, yes it was sort of intentional with the placing like that :P. I got a couple of others I liked too, but I liked how you can see up the map and see all of the other pins in the background. The golf shot I liked with the flag in the background, otherwise I think the ball is a little overwhelming. The landscape is very pretty, but I can't really take credit for anything on those, since all I did was take the picture and crop it, it could have been anyone :).

I got a new camera, a Sony Cybershot DSC-N1. I'm pretty impressed with it up to this point, and the photo quality is pretty good overall. All I did was resize, crop, and auto levels/color/contrast on them. This is a map in with these pins in it. Just messing with the camera feature that you can point (on the touch screen) where you want it to focus. Went golfing the other day, was really nice. Other than the lens flare I'm really happy about this one. This is a view of nearby Lake Tahoe from the Sierras. Just got some fresh snow the other night so it's pretty cool around there :). That's all for now, still messing around with it. I'm going to work on some night shots next once I get things more figured out.

I can't go without music for sure. Or going outside. Or talking to people. And even though everyone else has said it, a morning shower, I won't go out without a shower. I could go without the computer/cellphone no problem, definately not part of my daily routine.

My school sort of is in the mountains, we got a lot of snow there today. Its fun for the first storm but after that everyone is sick of the snow unless it's at a ski resort. But that's a good idea :).

I'm pretty sure you made a post exactly like this a little while back... I love DMB, I'm definately looking into going to a concert of theirs over the summer if it's convenient. I'm so impressed at how the whole band has so much talent, not just one person. Every person knows exactly what they are doing and aren't just mediocre, but excellent at their respective instruments. In many bands, the supporting band members just support the main singer but each member of DMB could be the headliner. I'm sure they do great live, but I'm guessing tickets won't be cheap at all.

Like they said... Anyone can find these tabs if they choose to do so.

There is already a post just the same as this one found in the appropriate Music & Movies board.

I just watch TV and usually at the same time every night i get really tired and just turn the volume down low and put it on sleep. I dont know why but I have a hard time falling asleep without the TV on. Music doesn't do it for me either, I don't know why. One thing a lot of experts say to do is have the same sleep schedule, even on weekends. So don't go to sleep at 1 am if you normally are alseep at 10. Also try to wake up at the same time. I totally disregard that and my school schedule has me waking up at the same time, weekend or not. But if you don't do that what happens is you oversleep on Saturday night and on Sunday night you're not tired enough to sleep, so you stay up later and on Monday you have to get up early for school/work or whatever. Sleeping pills make me so incredibly drowsy in the morning, so I usually don't take them because the rest of the day I have trouble waking up completely.

Just went to his concert the other night, it was great. I'll probably look into getting that one. Also Red Hot Chile Peppers are coming out with a new one in April I think? I'm excited about that.

Forgive me for being cynical, but I'm not seeing any solid proof that this really happened? Some people will do anything for attention unfortunately. For all we know he was just bored with RS and this clan or whatever involvement he had online and decided to go with a "bang" and say he was going to do this, but just see what kind of attention he got first. I don't really know though. Cynicism aside, if this indeed happened, obviously RS wouldn't be the sole reason for it to happen. There must be some sort of other motivation, and as bad as it sounds, you have to be pretty messed up already to turn to suicide to make things better. Given I don't know what he has gone through, there's no excuse for suicide. Even turning to drugs or drowning your sorrows in alcohol is better than killing yourself, not that I condone them. At least you're not hurting your loved ones as well. Simply though, RS is hardly a reason for someone to kill themselves, so its not a place to blame the game for something like this or even discuss that as a possibility.

Well if you're not totally set on a DSLR, I just bought a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N1 digital camera. It's pretty amazing. Since I've taken a camera travelling, I can attest that it's somewhat tedious carrying around a big camera (such as the Rebel, which we have). This camera is great because it fits in my pocket, is 8.1 Megapixels, 3" touch screen, and it goes for less than $500 depending on where you get it. It's totally different than using an SLR, but the price is half that of a Digital Rebel, and it would be a lot easier to carry around in Europe.

Well if you're going for a DSLR, I would definately go with the Rebel XT, it's like +/-$1,000, and if you get a lens or two if you can afford it, it's a great camera. We have a 35mm Rebel and I've used it and gotten the film converted to digital and it's awesome. I was strongly considering buying the Rebel, but opted for a compact digital instead because I would rather have the camera on me all the time and not miss a photo opportunity rather than keep the Rebel (pretty big) around my neck only when I'm looking for a photo op. But for totally impressive images, use the Rebel. I don't know of any inexpensive alternatives to it because SLRs are rather expensive, so the Rebel is at the lower price range.

Not that I doubt you or anything, but is that car in the picture an M3? I didn't know they made a 4-door M3, and it doesn't appear to have the characteristic M inlet on the side. Is it just a 3 series? Either way, that's an incredible graduation gift, and I'm sure it's well deserved :).

I wouldn't hesitate to drive that thing any time at all, and would constantly need to run out of state errands and whatnot ;). Very nice car though coming in at maybe $75,000+. I guess I drive my dad's truck every once in a while, 2004 Chevy Silverado Duramax Diesel. The thing's a beast with this thing he has that changes the programming and adds like 150 ft lbs torque and 100 hp. It's pretty quick/fun to drive once you get over the fact that it's a pickup truck. My boss has one that I go on errands with and he has a programmer too, but keeps it in stage 1 which is only like 50 torque and 30 hp. I probably drive that more than I drive my own car anymore whenever I work.

Well if you're washing your face 3 times a day, that could a problem. When you wash your face a lot your oil glands actually produce a lot more oil than normal and that is a main cause of acne. Also just never touch your face, at all except when you wash it. I use a mild soap in the shower every morning like Neutrogena cleanser that gets rid of oil and dirt, and wash with a washcloth every evening before bed. If it's bad at all you can go to your doctor and they can give you topical stuff, it works pretty well. I don't really get bad acne but somehow I got some stuff that works whenever I get a pimple or two. I don't really know how to get rid of them specifically, but use an exfoliator to get rid of dead skin and clean into pores and kind of get rid of black heads. Also its not a big deal to ask a dermatologist about it, or even your family doctor should know a fair amount on how to help.

I'd take their advice on it and find something that you want that they won't care about as much. Nothing worse than your mom or dad constantly complaining that you made a stupid decision or whenever they talk about your computer have that sound in their voice like they have a grudge against it... Once I went out and bought something on the expensive side without consulting my parents first. Long story short, I brought it home and before I could even use it I found out that my parents were getting me one for Christmas. So I kind of spoiled my big gift and then I had to wait another 3 months before I got it, and the wait was horrible because I wanted it right then. So sometimes they have their reasons...

My school offered something like that a couple years ago, and biggest reason kids wanted to go is because they will serve you alcohol if you can see over the bar in some countries. I don't think I'd like going with a school group though, maybe I'm spoiled, but when I travel with my family we can all sort of discuss what we want to do and can spend a longer amount of time in certain areas instead of having a set schedule and seeing all of europe in 2 weeks, that's pretty hard to do. Only downside is that if you want to experience it like this, it would take a few trips to do this. I'd like to spend more than a couple days in a city to really experience it, otherwise its not really worth it for me.

I do office stuff like do bank runs, errands, mass mailings, Starbucks trips, etc. Pays well, I can come in whenever I want or not want, don't have to work weekends, and I get to use someone else's gas/car to drive in.
-
I have a 93' Nissan Altima, I don't really like it but considering what we paid for it, it's in great condition and runs well, and gets me from place to place. It's just not the kind of car I want to be driving, not very fast and certainly not very appealing. Only gets about 20 mpg, which isn't much compared to other similar 4 cylindars, but I can't complain.

Yeah don't know especially about love songs but acoustic bands are mainly what I listen to. Try these out: Dispatch The Beautiful Girls Ben Harper Jack Johnson John Mayer Bright Eyes Donavon Frankenreiter G. Love and Special Sauce Matt Costa Amos Lee Slightly Stoopid Most acoustic 'bands' are actually singer/songwriters who play an acoustic guitar, if that's what you're looking for.

I'd take the class if it stays off your record. Traffic school is no biggy. Yeah, 15 over is a lot in a 25, thats like pretty fast. Yeah I tend to speed though, really shouldn't but until I get caught I won't learn my lession I guess. I just know where they hide and where it's acceptable to get away with. They go out at 6 in the morning about a block away from my house right out of a couple of stopsigns and wait for the housewives to drive in the middle of the road or go 50 in a 25 to work or something. Just have to keep an eye out and be careful.

There's no cure because it's caused by a virus that hides in your nervous system and comes out at an opportune moment, like if your immune system is down (not enough sleep, run down, partying, unhealthy habits, etc.). Can't kill viruses easily. Doesn't mean you did any of this, but yeah that's what causes it to come out. Haven't had it happen to me, but it sounds pretty uncomfortable.
