I'd prefer, for future reference, that photos aren't posted from the satellite feature. It's cool, but can give out too much information if used incorrectly. Thanks for understanding.

Shoveling snow got me in incredible shape really fast. Since this is a summer job, there's no snow. I'd opt for the next best thing (maybe even better), dirt. Go for some landscaping job. It'll get you in really good shape.

When I was about four I accidentially did. We had the memory setting on the phone to my mom's office, and I was calling her. But on the phone I used the same memory setting was set at 911, contrary to my knowledge. So someone answered and said something so fast I didn't understand, I hung up, then got a call back and got the lecture from the operator :).

Sorry, nothing fake/special about this picture. Just spam. -
Wow, lots of people are sweating the small stuff. Blowing them way out of proportion. I honestly can't think of a worst day of my life. Maybe it's just my mentality, but it's like a waste of time to think about bad things that happened in my past. If I wanted to I could come up with a reason for today to be the worst day in my life, but for what reason would I do that? As one person said, this is depressing. But I bet it wouldn't be depressing if people didn't make it as such. The fact that you have applied a certain day to be the worst day is kind of saddening.

Joy of Mac. Comic I made. Read, have fun and comment!
Peter replied to ColAvanor's topic in Art and Media
I like the drawing, good job on that. I'm not big on comics, but that's not what I'm here to comment on :). -
The Protestant Reformation began when a priest named Martin Lutherhad a disagreement with the Catholic Church. He thought their beliefs strayed too far from what they should have been. For example the people who paid the most money to the Church had a place in Heaven. He then wrote 95 statements against that of the Catholic Church. The Pope at the time, Leo X, threatened to excommunicate Luther if he did not take his statements back. He didn't take his statements back, so he was excommunicated. At this point Luther had many followers, so when the Catholic Church tried to pretend it never happened, most of Germany started following Luther's doctrines. Luther, after 25 years of hiding (because he was excommunicated), came back and translated the Bible to German (this REALLY angered the Catholic Church. If the people can read the Bible themselves, then they can start thinking for themselves...). German princes supported Luther, and thus Protestantism was formed. Protestant was a term given to those who wanted change in the Catholic Church. As for the Church of England. We have Henry VIII, a devout Catholic who hated Martin Luther. In many instances he publically insulted Luther. This pleased the pope. The pope named Henry "Defender of the Faith." Meanwhile, Henry was concentrating on carrying on his family's lineage. He quickly got married, and had five children (three male, two female). All of them died except for a daughter, Mary. Henry insisted on having a male child to take the crown. At the time divorce was not allowed by the Church, and especially from Henry since he was such a devout Catholic. He asked the pope if he could divorce, the pope refused. This angered the king, so he went to Parliament and suggested that the pope have no power in England. Essentially he requested that he would have not only political power over England, but religious power as well. Parliament accepted. Henry was now the head of England's church. Now he could divorce and re-marry how ever many times he wanted. That's how the Church of England was formed.

That's exactly what the movie is like, old comic book style. I can't say that I like the sig, but you captured the effect.

Drug discussion isn't appropriate. This is also spam.

Hmm, I'll have a look into that. Edit: What kind of errors are you getting when trying to put more than 99 Sigs ? It should work. Anyway, no estimate on time it should take to get the server running again. I actually didn't get any errors, it just wouldn't upload anymore sigs. Also, the new limits for Tip.it are 30KB, not 30,000kb (I think that's right...). It seems your script has the same limits of these forums, so I thought I'd point it out. Also, it seems to be down still, or at least my script isn't working.

I'd like to point out that not everyone changes their time, but there are so many exceptions I can't list them all. Arizona, Hawaii, and parts of Indiana do not change their clocks, and Europe changed their clocks last Sunday I believe.
-
BTTF_Man, I believe the issue with your script is that the sizes can't be shown (or at least couldn't be a while back). Uzzisoft's also uploads the images for you. I just wish there wasn't a max of 99 images on it :P.

I'm not Catholic, so I can't sympathise with many. I don't respect the late Pope for being the leader of the largest religion (not that this is something that doesn't deserve respect), but I respect him for his intelligence and leadership abilities. As I've said before, it's sad for him to have passed away, but I feel that every death should recieve the same respect. It is a big deal to many, but this event will not directly effect my life in any way.

Sounds like you're looking for a laptop. I get by just fine with my cell phone and iPod.

I like the clouds a lot more, the other one was just a bit off.

Thanks everyone for the comments, they do help-- trust me. It's interesting to see how some people like a shot and others hate it, I guess that means I'm doing something right. As you can see I replaced the old washed out purple flower with a new one, don't know if it's the same but it looked a lot better. Jab, you were wondering about the silhouette on film... I don't think it turned out better, but it was certainly a silhouette effect. I've also added a couple of new ones: And Enjoy.

I like it a lot :). Too bad it had to be horizontal, if it could be vertical I think it would be much better.

The Schiavo thing, she was just another person, just like the thousands of others who died today. This case does not deserve any more pity from us than any other of the deaths do. The Pope, I can't really say anything about that. He's almost 85 years old, his body is just doing natural things. Nature is taking his course, it's sad, but as I said so are the thousands of other deaths that happen each day.

You can only discuss a topic so much. After a couple of years of topics, the most popular ones start repeating themselves, and people flame... It gets ugly :P.

It might sound cool with having minimal homework and whatnot, but the social aspect that highschool provides is non-existant in homeschooling. I'm not saying people who are homeschooled have no friends, just that they don't get to experience highschool. As far as I'm concerned highschool is a crucial thing in the development of normal-seeming adult.

Went to Death Valley for a couple of days, wasn't anything spectacular, but a cool place. It was wildflower season, and apparently there hasn't been such an abundance of flowers for 30 years due to the odd weather we've been having. So these here are just the digital pictures I took, there are also three rolls of film that need to be developed. Critical comments on each piece would be appreciated. (Click the thumbnails for full-sized version.) EDIT: These were taken on film rather than digital. Replaced the washed out one, which I removed due to it getting a bit redundant. Ok, so it's not Death Valley, but it was on the same roll of film.

I guess it's kind of wierd to post something like this, but why would I collect so many sigs and not show them off? Call it an art exibit. Just a warning to those with slow connections, there are 114 images that take up a modest 2.59MB. I've got more than these, but I removed the ones that are out of the league of the rest. Here they are, enjoy: These are nice ones too, but too large for these boards:

I can't post all of my songs, but I have a list of songs that I listen to a lot more than the others, and they got their own playlist. As you can see, a bit of everything. I'm always looking for new songs/artists, so if you see any based on my interests do share :). As far as I can tell iTunes doesn't have a text list of your playlist feature, so obtaining this list wasn't so easy... :P. 40 Oz to Freedom-Sublime Adrenalin Rush-Twista Always Coming Back Home To You-Atmosphere Ball and Chain-Social Distortion Bang Bang-Dispatch Beautiful Freak-Eels Bohemian Rhapsody-Queen Brass Monkey-Beastie Boys Breakdown-Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers Breathe-Swollen Members Ft.
