1 week later, and I'm back to square one with my girlfriend. Turns out, all that "improving" we've been doing really didn't change anything. Same old fights. Different time preiod. Bogus.

Now then, mazemeout. I realize your disappointed in yourself, but remember to take it as a learning experience and make sure it doens't happen again. As you said - you waited too long. This doesn't mean you should rush into relationships, but certainly you should make a move when given the chance. You've learned your lesson, and you will perform that much better when the next girl comes along. don't feel down cause you missed a girl. Feel good, because now you're that much better at relationship building :thumbup:

My group was formed around my friends relationship with my girlfriend's friend (they're being together is actually what caused my meeting my girlfriend). This couple just broke up. They were only a month shy of 3 years dating. I'm awestruck and devestated. There's no real reason to my posting this, but I'm very upset by it. wow this post is spammy now that i think about it Nickelback is a good band. They used to be better, I'll give you that. Dark Horse sucked. Allthe Right Reasons was decent. Silver Side Up and The Long Road were good though. Suck on that music hounds.

Acceptable circumastances of abortion: 1) would-be mother was raped into the child-baring state 2) giving birth would somehow kill, or severely harm the mother 3) the baby was known to have severe birth defects and wouldn't likely live on the outside world Any other situation? The mother should go through with it. It's their responsibility, to care for the baby they chose to help create. They are not god and don't have the right to take the life of said future being. if the woman had a choice in the making of the baby, she should not have a choice in whether or not to keep it. If the choice of making the baby was taken from her, than she is givin the option to not keep it. Who are we to take the life of the unborn? Adoption ftw! :D (and don't even get me started on those heathens that use abortion as birth ontrol...)

You'd think by now, you guys would know the man law. It's set in stone for goodness sake. Hence forth, the first man law shall decree: "One day's grace must be permitted for every month the female has spent dating your friend, with a minimum of a week passing. Permission must be asked of the friend, and you must recieve their blessing." Breakers of this law are subject to, but not limitted to: 1) an [wagon] kicking 2) loss of friend card 3) black listed [rooster] - block 4) loss of wingma(e)n 5) revoked man card 6) given the title "douche bag" Also: Mazemeout...how does your cource know what she's talking about? Can you prove she was telling the truth? And if she was, don't sweat it. There's other girls out there that are less confusing that will amaze you. You just gotta look for em. Facebook statuses rarely mean anything, and if a girl uses Facebook to passively talk to someone, they're mostly just seeking attention. We all do it it. It's rather normal.

I'm back. Seems like the thread is moving pretty slow still. I think Mazemeout's problem has been resolved. I say don't take it personal, she's just trying to protect you. In other knews, I decided [despite the advice of many] to get back with my ex. 12th time's the charm? Fun story though. We got back together on Senior Trip. we shared a hotel, but the way the school regulated it, we couldn't ever be in the same room together. Good thing they never checked the bathrooms :P

I was in a club once. I was only 14 so all I really did was dance. It was good fun though. Made some friends, worked up a sweat, talked to people. I had a good time. I'm currently plotting my next trip to a strip club. Gotta get some singles first. I'm stoked for my rave/night club styled life when I move into my own apartment. It's gonne kick sooo much [wagon].

Agreed. It's pretty unrealistic. It's rediculously uncommon to have feelings like that after a day of dating [but if they'd known each other for a long time, it's a little more understandable] as for the "[x/y] <3" vs "<[x/y]3" ? who gives a [cabbage]? it's just text anyway. and yet both annoy me EDIT: oh, and I'm vacationing for a week, so try not to be in dire need of me, because regrettably I can't help anyone out til Wednesday-ish

Let games be your hobby. Don't mix buisness and pleasure. Get a job that will make you some money that you are already decent at, then come home and play all the games you want. Being a game designer isn't gonna get you many ladies. And if you're not worried about that, then worry about the fact that you admit to having no prior skill in any game design related field. Make money with something your good at - not something you'll struggle iin.

Honestly I would recommend example over text. Even watching the first season of Mystery's "The Pick Up Artist" would probly be of more use. Maybe that's just me. I'm a very visual learner. I have to see it done before I can do it. and @Blindbaker49 no one needs a girlfriend to prove a point. And i doubt he beleives his own statement. It is weird that he had to ask permission to tell her name [you're friends, and she's just a girl, that makes little sense to me] but you have to be respectful of his choice. I imagine he'll be "whipped" in forthcoming months, but you shouldn't pick random fights with your buddies about girls. It's never worth it. If he wants to be "whipped" let him. It's not cool of him to throw your lack of girl in your face, especially if you meant no harm in your comment, but you have to remember to be respectful. From my exerience, those that like being "whipped" suffer from low self-esteem. Try to make him feel better about himself, he's probly a bit sensitive [so watch it on the girlfriend comments]

The I have a horrible story for you. I was in debate club last week, and a girl (I'd estimate her at 15-16 years old) who was extra dumb. The first debate was about SAT's which she didn't know what the acrnymn stood for, the second debate was whether or not those responsible for 9/11 should be given a fair trial. She didn't know what was significant about the date September 11, 2001. That's not only dumb - that's unAmerican.

For the record I am fairly-anti alcohol too. But I don't really care about the people who legally do it as long as they're not dumb about it (drinking & driving, picking fights). But it urkes me to no end when people under 21 drink.

you tell him, WongTong! :P On Topic, I just had a nice convo with a French girl that laster half an hour or so. We talked about x-games, amercas got talent and why I was[am] awake at 3am. Wasn't bad. But I was too distracted to carry on a post-worthy conversation. Nice to see an actual female on it though. Usually the females are traps.
