Not entirely correct. The partyhat market is dictated by the thousands of players who have 1-2 partyhats. Most hardcore rare merchants don't have more than a couple sets. Because the hats are so scattered among individuals who are not willing to get rid of a status symbol that is virtually irreplaceable in today's market, very few people sell partyhats.

Hi. I'm addicted to runescape too. I began in middle school, and I was in Gifted and Talented classes. For 3 years, I had the highest grade in my math class, and I finished middle school without ever making a B. In high school, I maintained a 108.1 GPA (we did the 100 point scale) and graduated second in my class of 300. From there, I applied to (and was accepted) to Duke University. Because I applied early decision, I didn't have to apply anywhere else. At Duke, I am double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am active in intramural sports, my church youth group, an outdoor camping organization (mainly hipsters), and I still have time to go out from time to time. I just broke up with my girlfriend of a year and a half because of the distance, and I really regret it. I think we should date again. So, I think time management, not runescape, is the problem. There are plenty of other people who never played this game, and they did poorly because they spent all their time watching television, or doing drugs, or chasing women. Stop blaming the game for your poorly spent time.

What skill are you mage slaying with? I tried using nearly maxed mage gear and fire bolt with chaos gauntlets, and it sucked, but I don't want to spend too much on waves or surges.

Making gold amulets in f2p is decent, and for smithing, you can smelt iron/steel or superheat either.

Laptops are the best. Click with the left click button under the keyboard and move the mouse. You can do 6-8k an hour this way.

I think that there are too many variables here to effectively decide which ring is better, and you waste more time debating it than you would help by using the ring that is slightly better in a certain circumstance. It frustrates me that you expect pay for the work you do for the runescape community.

BACK on topic, I think it's obvious that people with different goals have different standards of happiness, both in life and in RS. Some people in life simply want a job they love, and no matter what they are paid, if they can live comfortably and have that job, they are happy. Others want women, some feed off of money, some off power. It's different for everyone. The same applies to RS. Some people want to skill, some want to merchant, some want to boss hunt, some want lots of friends.
