  1. I dont pick them up... or that is after the 1k balls hence the noted shields.
  2. Well Lady Shahdie in there defense Rule 30 is pretty clear on the subject :P OT: I play a girl character because I am too lazy to walk all the way over to the make over mage and change back... freaking Wanted! quest.
  3. Well as it seems that you enjoy combat, slayer is really the only way you would make decent money. But there are several things that you can do everyday to make money. Buy Seaweed and pineapples from Arhein's shop just south of Catherby shop. You pay 2 gold for seaweed that is worth 189 gold currently. You get 80/day. Pineapples likewise are 2 gold each but I would suggest making super compost from them as you will make more money + small farming exp. Buy Battlestaves from Zaff in Varrock. Regardless of your crafting level or what level Varrock Armor you have, buy all that you can. Either craft them into battlestaves or sell them on the GE for a profit. And lastly, make sure to complete Royal Trouble and Throne of Misc. And use the Manage Thy Kingdom mini-game. Best money makers atm are flax and fish. Then maybe mining. Do that while training slayer and you should find that within a week, you will make a pretty good profit.
  4. North of Jatizso. Just drop your cannon where the white spot is on that map, below the mining emblem on the east side. Make sure to target the females as the males will only hit melee and she ranges. Otherwise. Very good drops.
  5. Well by golly you have a point, I retract my statement :P
  6. One might speculate that since the ranger has his/her health bar showing that she is fighting the beast. I mean that seems to be the easiest explanation. But then again I just love how people jump right for the most ridiculous stuff when Runescape is involved :D
  7. and here is a drop picture after 1000 cannon balls
  8. Gear: God Mitre God stole Monk Robe top Trimmed skill cape>God Cape (not mage one) Monk robe bottom Bandos boots>white boots ROPE TRIMMED SHIELD FROM ISLES QUEST (MOST IMPORTANT PIECE) it is buyable. Lumbridge Achievement Diary Ring (Adventures ring?)>ring of wealth - either/or here Barrows Gloves>white gloves This is what I use: The idea is to get your highest prayer bonus you can. I would reccomend Guthix vestments as they are the cheapest of the three. The shield is important as you will be praying melee and there is a troll that does range. With the shield she can max hit a 2 so this is very important. Inventory should be 2-3 prayer pots and any food you like (I used trout as bank is literally 2 screens down). The canon will do most of the work so you really only have to pay attention to drops and the female troll that can actually do damage. Otherwise this is an amazing way to canon. You almost always break even.
  9. If the new strategy game works in the following way I will be very excited to play it. Actually RTS in Runescape has me excited anyway :P At first you will hire a group of mercenaries to fight to defend your castle. This will mean that you may have to pay every time that you play the game and of course better mercenaries would cost more money. On top of that I think that you will supply your army with different bows, arrows, weapons, and armor that one might aquire over time spent skilling (thus giving a purpose to those 5k mage bows that you just strung other than alching them). This would create a purpose for all types of smithable armors, fletchable bows, craftable hides, etc. It would sucessfully (in my opinion) join skilling with other elements of Runescape. Heck they may even have a system that would pair you with strategians of the same level making your iron army be able to compete against players of iron armies instead of runite armies. The picture shows 3 groups, maybe mage, range, and melee so that you could manipulate flanking, the combat triangle, or other strategies to even overpower higher geared armies with skill instead of money spent. You would outfit each group every battle with different armors accordingly and have the triangle represented. Bottom line, it will be fun but it looks like a money sink.
  10. A friend of mine did it last night with lower stats than you. Just make sure to have protect from melee prayer at least which you have Use protect from melee on most of the quest. Protect from range when gonig through the chasm. And Protect from mage on the last fight. Range the demon and it makes it the easiest boss fight in all of runescape. As to what to buy 5 Prayer Pot (4) 2 Super Antiposion (4) 4 Super Energy (4) for the cave. If you pray mage and range the demon you will not get hit. No need of a canon. With your range being low a range pot might be good for you to use
  11. Only problem would be managing the healers on top of switching prayer. What makes range so good is that you can hit the healers and not have to move much. Using a hally would change that.
  12. To everyone asking about televisions, you are missing an important element. Just because your television is bigger, you will not necessarily have more viewing area. My screen is so large because of the resolution of both moniters allowing me to strech the screen much larger. On a television or even projector you would not gain any resolution only make things larger. It would essentially be what you see now... much larger. It is only with multiple screens that the possibility to do what I did happens as it allows you to see further over instead of just inlarging the screen. It does not distort the screen that much until you hit the far edges as it looks almost like it is curling up, sometimes. This happened when I was lighting the beacons for my adze and used it to look at the beacon at God Wars from the Wilderness. Otherwise no streching occurs. For that matter all the creatures and things appear the same way on my screen as anyone elses. When fighting Jad I think that this helped because I was able to strech the screen so that Jad was right above my prayer screen and I could see his whole body being able to watch him better (got my fire cape last night btw ^_^). It also helped that the healers where all visible when fighting Jad as well. Made them a breeze to kill. When I get home from work I will try tinypic to try and get a high resolution picture of what I see. To use your imagination, take a full screen high definition picture on a regular moniter and triple it. That is what I can see (not that I always do). With my new videocards there is no lag on either moniter as there was with my BFG 6800. I think that this opportunity gives me an advatage in certain scenarios like one might have experienced in old wilderness when rune mining or otherwise. I can see up to 3 times as much as other players thus giving me an edge in comat situations. This is all because I can afford it and younger gamers cannot or would not waste there money on such things. I was trying to make more of a satirical point entailing the fact that Jagex has stated that selling gold would give an unfair advatage because those that can afford it would buy it and those that cannot would feel slighted. In a like manner I can afford better hardware, a faster internet connection than most (though I am sure that some would be faster), and thus have an advantage over those that can't. It is the same premise as gold trading, how does it differ? Not that I would buy gold as that is pointless, my point is more of what ground does Jagex think they stand on by trying to make a free game equal? If someone has more free time than me is that fair to me as they get faster levels and potentially better drops? If my hardware is better making me lag less and being able to manipulate combat better, is that fair to my opponent that just had 2 rounds of combat where he was unable to do anything? If I work 45+ hours a week and make x amount of dollars and spend that money on gold, would that be any different than having any of the above advantages? I am not making a case for RWT nor am I saying it should be allowed. I am just curious on what our community thinks as recent threads about cash shops and what not has had me thinking about the 'thats so unfair' mentality that some of us seem to have.
  13. There is nothing in the Elven City for what that is worth.
  14. Eh I think I might perfer the updates once a week. Because I would perfer steady small updates instead of massive ones. Kind of the reason I devote so much time to Runescape and 1-2 days a week to WoW. If updates slow, my time played might as well, as I will lack things to motivate me to accomplish other things.
  15. Well it seems that if you go too far, the client begins to compensate for distance, almost like it is turning up or having rolled edges. It is obvious that it was not meant to be strecthed that far. As to the picture quality it is a .png off of imageshack so quality has surely been lost. If someone can direct me to a site that would allow me to host it fully I would gladly show you what I really see. As to the elven city... I think I will :P
  16. Eh no doubt as I soon saw when Jad hit me for a 63 when trying to manage the healers. I merely found out that i could do it there, not necessary where an unfair advantage might arise. I think that in Bounty Hunter or even the Wilderness or Pvp worlds where seeing revenants or pkers would be very benefical. In other words I feel as though a players ability to afford faster, better equipment is the same as someone being able to afford cash from real world traders. Better PCs is just a little more suttle.
  17. Last night I was attempting to get my Fire Cape and was getting bored going through the waves of beasts to get to Jad. After wave 55 or so I decided to strech my screen across both moniters and noticed that I could do the following: please excuse it's small size as I cannot find a hosting site that will host it's true resolution. Imagine a 23 inch widescreen moniter and a 21 inch one beside it. In essence I can pretty much see the entirety of the fight caves at any given time. In most other places, including Bounty Hunter I can see, at least well more than most players. My question is does this allow me an unfair advantage? I can see more and thus feel as though a player with that capability may be able to do things easier than most players. In other words since I can afford 2 high definition moniters (actually 4 but am waiting for my SLI connector so I can cross my graphics cards) and a fast pc/internet, how does this differ than Jagex's stance against RWT and the unfair advantage that money would bring to players that could afford to buy items. I, in no way agree with RWT but was wondering how Jagex might see an unfair advantage.
  18. 1.5 hours really is not long at all. They will sell, just give it time. I have even been able to sell addy javelins before. Just learn some patience friend.
  19. Use the easy route as well as the strong companions, skip ALL events except the Lumberjack event. Took me 2 days or about 8 hours to complete mine and I did all the events. Should take you less if you skip them. Not bad rewards either. Watermelon seeds and pure essense ftw.
  20. My pleasure sir. Anything I can do to help.
  21. Needed: Lunar Diplomacy Hand in the Sand Varrock Achievement 3 Everyday you can buy seaweed from Ahrim in Catherby. He is on the dock directly south of the bank. He sells 80/day for 2 gold each. Everyday you can recieve 84 buckets of sand from bert in Yanille. He is east of the house portal. He will gladly make the delivery once a day. Everyday you can buy battlestaves from Zaff in Varrock north east of the central fountain. Based on your varrock achievement armor, you can buy a certain amount of battle staves everyday. REGARDLESS OF YOUR CURRENT ARMOR LEVEL BUY ALL THE STAVES YOU CAN, EVERYDAY! Once a week, change to Lunar spells and use the spell Super glass make (NOTE: seaweed does NOT have to be cooked into soda ash to use spell). This will give you about 1.5x the amount of molten glass you normally would get. You receive 10 exp per glass. Without the bonus glass from the spell, that is 5600 experience a week. Then get yourself a glass blowing pipe and make 560+ glass orbs. For the bare minimum without using the lunar spell you would receive 29400 exp, bringing the total to 35400 experience. (This will cost you 1120 gold and the cost of the astral runes.) Looking at your stats you should have the medium Varrock Achievement Diary completed. With medium completed you can get 32 staves a day. That is a total of 224 staves a week. I would selling the orbs and buying fire orbs until you can make air orbs. Making 225 firebattlestaves nets you an additional 28000 experience, for a total of 63400 experience for the week. The battlestaves will cost you 7k each for a total of 1568000 per week. Add that to the 1120 gold from the seaweed and 224 nature runes at 300 each (high on purpose) for 67200, brings your total to 1636320. Then alch the battlestaves and you will have 2083200 plus 63400 crafting exp and 14560 magic experience (if you did not make your fire orbs yourself). I would do this as a secondary way to level crafting though. Use the cash gained from it to supplement green dhides or something. This would take about 19 weeks but you would make 400k/week (7.6m) instead of spending that much money :P

    tl;dr

Too Long; Didn't read. Basically if something is too long people will not read it. In order to help, people will add it to the end of long posts to make the post relevant to people who did not take the time to read the post. In the future, urbandictionary.com could help you with internet euphemism help "D
  23. There is word of armor and weapon trades on the GE being limited to 10 per day (or per 4 hours maybe). Anyone have word on that? If so then Acidiy just got owned I think.
