It was ungreatful, and it is clear Racheya you do not know what your talking about, I would doubt you have even PKed before. I myslef do a bit of everything, and whilst Pking is not my main thing i do in runescape i do see that removing the pvp worlds hindered alot of my friends and their run in wars. If Great_one enjoys Mining, then he can mine. I never told him not to; I merely gave the most logical answer I can provide. Unless a player provides information such as: "I really enjoy training Mining!" I have no way of knowing that the player does. Most people I've encountered dislike the skill, so I was trying to help find a way around the intensive amounts of time that gold mining requires. I do not tell other people how to play. I tell them how they can do so more efficiently when they ask.

As I recall, you can give a nearby dwarf a couple of your ores from each inventory and he will bank it for you. I haven't done that in ages though. I apologize that my attempt to save Great_one time, money, and the brutality of Mining upsets you. If you're not going to at least contribute towards helping him in addition to attacking me, you have no place here.

You don't understand opportunity costs. With his stats he could be making large amounts of money; gold mining is nowhere near his potential. By doing something profitable for an hour and buying the gold, he'd make money and still have all that ore for free. I'm no specialist in Mining. I don't know the xp rates, and have only rough estimates on cash per hour. I was kind of hoping my original suggestion would help me skate through on this problem. ;) If I were after gold though, I'd try Keldagrim's Arzinian Mine.

I would recommend that you do something more profitable and just buy the ore. You'd save yourself a lot through opportunity costs.

You'd be better off not allowing him the chance, if you dislike that so much. He's not so much "twisting" your words though, as relating them in a less rambling, better punctuated "too-long-didn't-read" post. I think his technique of showing you your own arguments is quite clever, though not especially effective on a person such as yourself.

I'm getting tired of you blaming your issues with the game on mainly prepubescent soccer players rather than just accepting things as they currently are. Surely you realize it is illogical to pine away, hoping that the past will be your future. Also, do you realize that a "normal person" has no desire to play RuneScape Classic? Only someone reliving their past would ever dream of playing such a sub-par game. Are you still playing RuneScape? If so, then quit if you're so upset about it, or at least stop whining. I like a good story line. By "good", I mean something that JaGEx has not released this year. :| I also love puzzles in a quest, but those are incredibly rare.

The Rants section is not about venting. Only people who post a rant believe this. It's about fighting with the original poster tooth-and-nail on every issue he mentions, regardless of one's actual belief on the subject.

Actually, it was easy. If you're going to post a rant, make it worthwhile please. At least address something; if you have no real point, find some poor sap ingame who's willing to listen.

I've never heard of the "retribution method", and I don't player kill. Even so, I feel that I am competent enough to post on this thread. You're upset because other people don't follow your concept of player-killing. When you complain that the designated area is being used for its intended purpose, funnisam tells you off (and rightfully so!). You respond by hurling around political terms that have no relevance to the discussion as a possible ad hominem. What if funnisam makes a rant about you not following his concept of a proper rant? I have to say that you're the cause and (possible) solution of your problems. Now choose the latter and let's be done with this. Oh, and if I were approached by someone who told me of a way to make fast cash WHERE I END UP DEAD, I'd be suspicious too. Keep that in mind.
