  1. I'm not sure which side you're on; please explain your position more clearly. I've not seen any shredding, actually. You're too sloppy to do that properly.
  2. Surely you understand the necessity? I have no problems at all using the Grand Exchange. Try to be less careless in your clicking. The last thing I need is a bunch of preteens swearing at me. I dislike this too. 76k-ing is not in the spirit of the game.
  3. Yeah, it's a shame that Jagex updated the game to help save people like you from their massive incompetence.
  4. I'm surprised anybody brought this back up, and gladdened that people take the time to read the full thread before posting. What compfreak meant (I believe; it's awfully hard to remember this old thread) was that you won't be AS mature as when your lobes fully develop around age twenty-five. Your post can be mature now, but it's only behavior-wise, and even that should improve with physical development. For instance, at eighteen, every time I look even as little as a few months into my past I realize that I could've handle situations better, et cetera. Technically I'm an adult, but I've only attained approximately 73% maturity in my frontal lobes.
  5. Whether some noobs drop their coal or not is none of my business. Stop making excuses, and get back to the rant at hand. Which is mining being in a very bad state, in other words, it sucks. Est0rrath has a valid point, actually. More valid than you picking apart everything he says only to claim you don't care about it. :shame: I'm still reasonably confident that coal would sell. It might drop a bit, true, but Smithing requires so much coal for a single bar that selling Mithril and Adamant after this kind of update would likely be more difficult.
  6. Normally I'm pretty good about this kind of thing, but what does this post mean? :?
  7. How is it valid? I personally believe it falls in the How I Lost My Items sticky.
  8. You know what's even worse than buy/sell? Barrowing whip 4hrs plz
  9. If "bury x" is anything like "offer x" then you are going to have to spend twice as long on the skill, and you're probably going to have to pay a lot more.

It's not very expensive at all. Because 120m odd+ isn't expensive. Not especially, no. It's very fast to train, really useful at high levels, and it's very easy to make money in RuneScape if you're so inclined.

  12. I understand your point, and normally I'd agree. In this case, however, JaGEx has been hyping this game for months. For it to debut so poorly after all that is really unacceptable. Also, like Ray said, this is not their first time designing such a game.
  13. I say do what makes you happy and don't waste your time with people who bash you for it. Do I date on RuneScape? No, but I don't get all riled up when I see people who do. Just don't be obnoxious about it, then who can be upset?
  14. Stay off PVP worlds if you don't like dying.
  15. It just needs to be more reasonable, not easy. That's assuming you subscribe to "easy" and "hard" skills when everyone knows it's just mindless clicking.
  16. Perhaps the reason gains are greater on Runecrafting is that it's slow xp and requires that you pay attention, unlike Woodcutting. Don't underestimate the market's ability to readjust to allow for a simple fix like this. I thought this was a great thread; a rant worthy of these forums. Most are just slapped together upon losing some item or being called a "n00b", but this was obviously well-constructed.
  17. Actually, I basically choose my capes on fun-factor and æsthetics. I happen to enjoy skills that keep me in a crowded area for long periods of time because I get to make lots of friends. Did I grind for weeks in these skills just for a cape? Essentially yes, but I had fun doing so and made a few additions to my smiley face list. What's wrong with that?

    tl;dr

Every post on the RSOF lacks enough content to justify reading. I didn't bother to look at the thread you mentioned, but four posts is way too long. Nobody has that much to say; keep it to only a couple paragraphs or people will get bored.

    Grand Exchange

    1. Drives me crazy that people can't figure it out. 2. All RuneScape skills are useless. 3. Alching is actually my favorite thing to do on RuneScape. I haven't had much chance to alch since reaching 99 Magic though, as I was/am saving for Crafting. I alch(ed) because it relaxes me in a way that nothing else in the game does.
  20. MEP2 is my favorite, I can't understand why people hate a good puzzle so much. I hated The Underground Pass. It's the only quest that I ever considered quitting midway through.

    Level 3 skillers

What exactly makes being a skiller more of a challenge, other than a lower xp rate for most skills and not being able to do combat? Many people mistake tediousness for difficulty.
  22. That's exactly right! With such low traffic on the PvP worlds, it's hard to justify having even as many as there are now. Frankly, I don't care if clans meet each other during a war; it's a risk you take.
