  1. I certainly had a chat to them, but they only give me the usual two options. Apparently they say different lines of dialogue to non-owners of the house, so you're welcome to try, but the heads seem ignorant to even the existence of the Dragonkin. They refuse to accept that even the Kalphite Queen exists. Er, and nicely pun. Heheh.

it's a rants forum, your allowed to make these sort of threads, people need an outlet for their frustration. If you want a discussion, go to the debating forum. Sorry, I'm new here. I reiterate, " :? "
  3. 1/10, the image quality is awful. It's all sort of skewed... Oh, but 9/10 for the level. Because it's defence. And defence is awesome. :
  4. phr33 15.5 million gee pees, insane luck Er, 9/10. Spend it wisely :
  5. My slayer master decided that my efforts were best applied to black dragons, so I decided to try soloing the King of them. The first two runs were uneventful, but on the tenth kill I got this: Funnily enough the yew logs, with the dragonhide and bones, were enough to pay for the stuffing of the head. The two gold leaves were a little more expensive, but totally worth it.
  6. And from what I've gathered, this implies that I am of inferior intelligence to those that do. In fact, I am yet to meet a high-leveled (say, 80+) farmer who didn't seem to think that, because I happen to dislike growing crops, my patience, and indeed IQ, must certainly be lower than aforementioned arrogant agriculturist (oh dear). The most common argument is that I'm ignorant to the benefits of farming - monetary gain, total levels... Er, um... Use of Spirit trees... When of course this all pales into insignificance because I don't enjoy training the skill. "But this must mean that your patience is also inferior! How could anyone dislike such a vibrant, scintillating skill, one that I have all but mastered in my quest to own that sublime green cape!", I hear you shriek. Well, the cape does look quite cool. No arguments there. But my rebuttal to that is in the form of the satire in which I presented your argument, dear reader. What if I don't like it because I find the disease system aggravating? Yes, I know the net gain will almost always be positive, but I still don't see why such low-leveled crops can become diseased. Bows don't randomly splinter, do they? Or perhaps I simply dislike the way in which my character's head twitches when I reach to pick herbs (why the heck is it animated like that? I can put my arm forward without tilting my noggin, JaGex). I am by no means trying to say that farming is boring or useless. I can see why people train it; it most certainly has its uses. But could you love it in peace? Get a metaphorical room, perhaps, and stop yelling at me when I tell you its new hairstyle looks sort of lopsided. I have a right to despise dwellberries, to loathe lantadymes, and most importantly, to scowl at snapdragons and the gp/hr they pull in. That is all.
  7. Think of it this way: If you stayed with your team, you wouldn't have got the visage. Butterflies and hurricanes, y'know.

...So try again. Jad is supposed to be difficult. I don't really see the discussion value here :?
  9. Yeah no reason at all to keep an armour set that is black but has stats comparable to rune and looks really awesome ...Yes, exactly. I might as well sell it and buy barrows armour, or maybe even bandos. The elite black armour doesn't even look that great.
  10. Sometimes world 2 scares me. Any idea what these guys are using as junk? I don't really see much reason to keep this useless armour.
  11. Call me pedantic if you like, but ect means absolutely nothing. For those that are not aware, etc. is an abbreviation generally held to have stemmed from the Latin phrase ET Ceteri. Let's get the basic 3 letter words right shall we now?! Call me pedantic, but don't you mean 'et cetera'? The term 'etc' is widely accepted to mean the same thing as 'et cetera' - that is, 'and the rest', or 'and other obvious and implied things which fall under aforementioned category'. So in that sense, it does mean quite a lot. OT: I can only see 5 reasons to get a skillcape: -You can't afford an obsidian cape - You want a cape which gives a +4 prayer bonus - You are for some reason fond of the number '99' - The 99 you're trying to achieve is useful - You just like the way skillcapes look Doing it so that other players will respect you just seems a little odd.
  12. Honestly I have no idea but now instead of level 65 herblore and farming, I can go for 60 and use evil stews (I just tested it out, raised both my farm and herb by 6). I'm going to get heat for not doing the quest "honourably" but I'm happy as heck. Are you saying you actually had the +6 boosts in both farming and herblore at the same time? If so, you are phenomenally lucky; I usually use like 20 stews just to get a +4 boost in one stat.
  13. I don't respect it any more than usual, it was an easy quest. Sure, the bosses were level 450, but you can identify their attacks before they come at you, and for the second two your stats are at 255. Summer's End was harder than this.
  14. Permanent: continuing or enduring without marked change in status or condition or place But what's in a name, eh?
  15. Now you have to get the 20m worth of junk :?
  16. Assuming you're making oak larders, start using the demon and regular butlers as soon as possible. So, it's just a few calculations. [hide=Zee numbers]33 - 40 ~310 planks. With the cook, at 16 items per run, that's 20 runs. So 6k in fees from 33-40. 40-50 ~1070 planks. With the butler, at 20 items per run, that's 54 runs. Let's just say 35k in fees from 40-50. 50-70 ~ 10600 planks. With the demon butler, at 24 items per run, that's 440-ish runs. So, around 550k in fees. So I guess 590k in total.[/hide] I think that should be correct, it seems about right.
  17. If money is truly not a problem for herblore, buy marrentils and unicorn horns. Grind the horns and make antipoison potions. They'll buy instantly, unlike kwuarms, irits, etc.
  18. 3m should get you around 700k experience, if I worked it out correctly.
  19. So as we all know, there are a ton of people trying to buy herbs, making training herblore all but impossible. I've found this week's 10 penguin/turkeys and collected a few tears of Guthix, so am I missing any other ways of taking a reasonable chunk out of the 35k experience I still need? Buying 300 more kwuarms is virtually impossible.
  20. It once happened to the medium fountain in my poh
  21. Slayer, simply because I really need money. And I loathe training the skill. I know, I'm terrible :? But of course, I can only do this after someone sells me 300 kwuarms, which could take more than just a little while.
  22. A couple of silly questions: - Can you actually sell the ruined dragon armour lump, or will they be unsellable until they hit like 2m? 9.7m is a lot to me. Like, really a lot. It's around my current net worth. - Can you use a greenman's ale to pot up to the last herblore level? Kwuarms are in short supply at the moment.
  23. No 'Twas in jest. These aren't sounding like a particularly good method of training. I guess the soon-to-be-skyrocketing price of the armour could be nice, and perhaps the charm rates will be good, but to be honest, meh.
  24. I teled to Draynor, walked east a little and killed one by the gaol, thus gaining the cornucopia and emote, and completing the event. That didn't have much depth...
