  1. Armoured Zombies. Wear a salve amulet (e) and use pure sets and piety. It's not really possible to get exp any faster than that. Most guides state the exp per hour you'd get at 99-99, so with 81 attack you'd be getting about 80k/hr.
  2. You didn't train it via slayer, so 6/10. But I really hate slayer, so 9/10.
  3. Saradomin Brews boost your hp by 15% of your actual hp level, so on a level 3 I guess that'd be 1.5hp per dose? Sorry, but I don't think it's possible.
  4. This is my favourite basic house layout, minus a few extra rooms, like the formal garden and throne room. It covers both practicality and aesthetics. [hide=Layout][/hide]
  5. Using the Crystal Saw from the quest Eyes of Glouphrie, plus the level 3 tea you can make in your kitchen, will get you a +6 boost. The saw with Evil Dave's stew can get you +9, but that's very rare.
  6. Lava Eels. They're used in the Hero Guild quest.

50 tools could get you about 2.5m construction exp, which, assuming you make about 300k/hr, would technically save you about 700k/hr. Or, if you want to use them on a less useless skill, you could get 2.5m smithing experience (not sure on the number, I'm pretty sure hammers last 50k experience). That's around level 85 smithing, which is pretty impressive. I don't think proto-tools are practical if you use them for anything other than construction, smithing or crafting.
  8. I'm pretty sure the method people use to solo the CB is to keep him temporarily focused on someone outside the arch, then keep switching when he realises he's been tricked, to minimize damage. It's because he's so ridiculously powerful, even using ruby bolts and other assorted high-damage, expensive gear can only get him to about half health before you run out of food. Even if you could solo him, I'm not sure it'd be worth it, considering the time, risk and consumables.
  9. Armoured Zombies. Use piety, salve amulet (e) and wear proselyte, or perhaps a Verac Plateskirt. You should use super attack and strength potions, because yes, the exp is going to be very slow. At 82-83, I got about 70k experience per hour, so you'll be looking at perhaps 55-60k/hr. Not that this holds any relevance at all, but I wouldn't suggest getting 99 defence before you get at least 90 attack and strength - defence is a pretty useless skill.
  10. Thanks : I'll probably start working on getting the morphic tools for 80 construction and smithing. I'm also thinking of going for 99 thieving - 70k defence exp to 200k thieving exp per hour would be a nice change...
  11. inb4 midnight! Well, in my timezone, anyway. It was a close call. I thought the level-up fireworks were appropriate. [hide=I'm untouchable.][/hide]
  12. Yes, charms can be lootshared. However, if you manage to get 99 summoning by either lootsharing or thieving Dorgesh'Kaan chests, you have the patience of a god.
  13. Yes. Definitely. You shouldn't even be slaying if you don't have a black mask.
  14. LOL bandos boots will look better :) Yes, but the strength bonus of the dragon boots outweighs the defence bonuses of the bandos boots. Defence is pretty pointless, especially if it's 1 or 2 stat points. Bandos boots are only really used when hunting Graar'dor. Barrows gloves would be very useful as well. Oh, and I'd sheepishly recommend getting Verac's Plateskirt instead of Bandos Tassets; it'll allow you to use stat-boosting prayers which should more than compensate for the tassets' +2 strength bonus.
  15. Yeah, it's probably one of the most frustrating minigames out there. Runescape's community is largely unfamiliar with co-operation, the key angle of B.A. I feel your pain. Just visualize trying to get an entire set of penance armour all at once. It should give you some perspective :D
  16. Defending is a fine art. 90% of the trick is to avoid abusing your teammates to the extent that you become permanently banned from Runescape. The other 10% is a mix of the following: - When you start the wave, check which food you're supposed to use. Then, drop a few pieces of the wrong food between the two cannons. This will make any runners turn back towards the outlet caves and give you more time to deal with them. - USE THE CANNON. Using the cannon does not make anyone lose any points. It's a ridiculous myth which needs to be stopped. Grr. - Make sure you continue to call, in case the healer decides to punish every teammember including him/herself by not calling either. - As soon as you have a few free inventory spots, get the hammer and logs, so you're ready to repair the traps. - USE THE CANNON. - If the healer doesn't call, use the horn. - USE THE CANNON. - On wave 10, it's usually just as easy to lead the runners into the exit cave. You won't lose any points, but if they're near the traps just kill them the usual way. Happy (or not so happy) defending :) Oh, and use the cannon.
  17. Congrats on the slayer level :D
  18. If you only ever use full guthan to heal, it should last at least a week before you need to start thinking about repairing it. I never use B2P anymore, go with guthan.
  19. Alex D T, P2P =3
  20. I'll go with a level 94 slayer requirement, since 95 seems too obvious. I think it'd be cool to see a boss-like slayer monster - think Kree'arra, or K'ril Tsutsaroth, only you need to wear a specific shield, or helmet, or weapon, etc, and you need 94 slayer to go anywhere near it without being obliterated. Of course it'd have to be soloable (unless it wasn't an assigned task), but you'd finish your task faster if you went with a team. Oh, and the unique drop is easy: I cannot remember where I heard this, but it made me laugh. "P1: But they've already made a Godsword. I mean, what weapon could be more powerful than a sword of the gods? P2: Occam's Razor."
  21. Hopefully I'll start the year with 99 defence. Assuming I do 450k/day I'll get it on the first. I hate Armoured Zombies. Then 99 thieving before school goes back, and I'll see how I go from there. Hopefully I'll somehow end up with full Bandos, Armadyl and an AGS. Or the awesome new superarmour which'll eventually be released in some way.
  22. Why? Grats, you'll have the next 2 levels done in no time
  23. You could make money nonstop for a week and get 20m, that would probably get you to 99 mage, or perhaps smithing if you did it all with SC hammers. Crafting costs something like 60m if you do green d'hide bodies, so that might be like 3 weeks of making money and 1 week of training, which just doesn't seem possible. Agility can't really be done in a month unless you don't need sleep, construction costs a lot, herblore costs a lot, mining takes more than a month, so does slayer, so does farming, so does runecrafting... I guess your only real options would be fishing, woodcutting or hunter. Ooh, actually I forgot thieving - you can no-life it in about 2 weeks if you do pyramid plunder. I'd go with that.
