i is the performer
1/10. Sorry, but 1400+ scores aren't really at all difficult to achieve.

[answered] Can I trust download.com?
Cnet is totally trustworthy. However, downloading Photoshop is certainly illegal. I doubt they even have it available for download, it would have been flagged.

Weekly Poll: What's your current respawn point?
Camelot. I die about once per year, so it's never crossed my mind to change it.

20-Jan-2009 Seers Achievement Diary
The new and improved Excalibur: [hide=It looks slightly different!][/hide] It also healed 20hp over about 10 seconds. +12 defence at 99, and no prayer boost. Somewhat notable is its small defence bonuses. Not really that impressive, but they could be useful I guess.

easy levels?
About 60 hours of Stealing Creation should get you the hammers needed for 99 construction. That wouldn't take too long at all, considering the enormous exp/hr. Or you could use the hammers for 99 smithing, which would cost slightly less. Thieving is also ridiculously fast, as is cooking, fletching (you're two levels away, might as well trim the cape :) ) and herblore, but that bank value would only get you somewhere near 93-4.

Question on Tears of Guthix.
As far as I know, one will be picked at random. Unless Jagex has some secret skill-ranking system, which I doubt.

Spirit Shields
The only time I ever look at my keyboard is when I've stopped using it and need to get my fingers in the right position again. If you don't bother to learn how to type properly, you will have a shaky learning foundation and your subsequent efforts to touchtype will eventuate in incoherency and general fail.

Am I Protected?
No. The items have not been properly blessed, so they do not protect you.

Fire Cape
They are high enough, but you may need to do a couple of test runs just to get a feel for the minigame - stacking, safespotting, getting the 90 stuck behind the 360 by running in an enormous arc and praying that you don't accidentally get meleed by the 360... Yeah, all that stuff. If you waste too much time you *might* run out of restores. But you'd have to be really inefficient. As always, read muggi's guide. He is a legend.

Getting Firecape with high melee and low range
You could do it with the guthan method, but your range level is high enough to do it purely with ranged. Look at muggi's guide, it shows how to use either method. I'd go with ranged, it's usually less risky. Oh, and no, familiars are not allowed in the minigame.

hmmm 99 defence
I refuse to be called stupid simply because I occasionally base my decisions on aesthetics. Besides, your reasoning relies on the idea that I want to get maxed melee, which I don't. Defence has its uses outside of offensive combat.
-
hmmm 99 defence
Ooh, I forgot to mention; I earned about 2m and got ~400 blue charms going from 90-99 defence at the zombies. It's not as much as you'd get training slayer, I'm sure, but it's still decent.

Odd Tendency? Bank slot holder
I try to get at least two of every item under 100k. Yeah, I'm poor. I even went to the trouble of getting two pairs of Penance Gloves. I've also learned by myself that ectophials shatter on death, and Magical Secateurs do not go to your gravestone.

hmmm 99 defence
At around your attack and strength levels, I get ~75k exp/hr at the Armoured Zombies. Now, that's with a Salve Amulet (e) (20% strength and attack) and Piety (23% strength and 20% attack) as opposed to 15% on slayer tasks (you say you're barely pushing 10m, so I'll assume you're not pietying your tasks. I will assume, however, that you're using pure sets). I'd probably put your exp/hr at about 50k per hour? 60k at most, if you get a lot of good tasks. So it'd take about 170-ish hours, I suppose. Oh, this is a little irrelevant, but I'd reccommend getting higher strength and attack before you go for 99 defence. Might as well get the higher exp rates, and defence isn't really that useful.

99 skill partys?
I only ever go to close friends' parties. One of my friends is getting 99 smithing later today, I can't possibly miss that. Especially since he got the Stealing Creation hammers at level 3.

only one (admittedly rather large) level to go!
heh, what can I say, school and such. Ooh. 170k exp per day on a school week is fair enough.

Just got firecape :D
I had that many pots left (If not more) when I got my first Firecape.. what's your point. It was on my first try ever as well. Not everyone buckles under "pressure" if you can even call a GAME that. For my second attempt I will try to do it in under 90 minutes. That's what I am shooting for.. on my SECOND attempt ever. Does that mean that I have people doing if for me to? Why does everyone think the fight caves are hard? Everyone hypes it up so much only for it to be mediocre in difficulty at best. 8/10. Grats on the getting the cape and on your first try. Not as hard as everyone makes it to be but I guess that's what happens when you can't keep your "cool" under pressure. It's just a game there is no reason to fly off the handle  I had more. Let's turn this into a competition, because clearly that's the best way to solve a dispute. Or you could read what I'd said, and realise that, unless he really did get someone else to do the caves for him, I was complimenting him. Your post is a little confusing, since you can't seem to decide whether or not the caves are difficult. I think you're just attempting to feign modesty. You do have 94 range though, let's not forget that. To be honest, completing the caves in 90 minutes with 94 range doesn't seem too difficult :|

RATE MY HOUSE =] (video)
The ground level layout is quite nice, 8/10 for that. The dungeon, on the other hand, needs work. It doesn't seem to have any direction, making the Treasure room feel like just another room. I'm reeaally picky when it comes to dungeons, so 4/10 for that. But overall, it looks pretty good.

97, 96 & 138. Good days.
Eew, torso :twss: 10/10.

Just got firecape :D
*Looks at remaining potions* *Looks at equipment* Either you're very good at the fight caves, or... 6/10 if you really did do it. Not a particularly difficult achievement, but good nonetheless.

Pff, 1m experience in a week? Nicely done, 8/10. 9 when you get 99 :D

Stealing Creation Rant
Reading through this thread reminds me of a General Discussion thread about the rise in weapons which deal huge amounts of damage, but no rise in the HP cap. I think the SC combat triangle is balanced, but that doesn't mean that it works. It would work a lot better if everyone was pking, but unless you've got maxed melee, an inventory of food and potions, and a bunch of team-members soaking up the hits, resource farming is the better method of gaining points. I remember gathering from a swarm in C4 melee armour, and not being able to get one length of a minimap without being torn apart by a C5 dagger. And that's with 99 defence. It seems like you have two options: Kill your opponent before he kills you, or try to run and be slaughtered. But as I usually say in most of my posts, I don't have a great deal of experience in this area. I usually just play with non-combat SC clans; the games last about 13 minutes, and there are no barriers, pickpocketing or pking.

Barbarian Assault: Collector Levels
I usually just right-click-destroy the current eggs while waiting for the attacker to call. Having a higher collector level has never really been a problem.
