I regret drinking an entire glass of milk, going back for a refill, and noticing that it expired on the 17th of January, not February. I've only just realised how bad the aftertaste is. :wall:
  2. Use the wilderness course until 75 agility. Ape Atoll isn't as good as the wildy course until you never fail, since you can lose the lap bonus.
  3. HP all the way. It's like 7.35k at 92 hp, which is ridiculous. Get it before they nerf it.
  4. - 3 bedrooms? - The workshop would look strange there - rooms only connected by a corner look odd. - The throne room needs to stand out - putting it in such an arbitrary place isn't right - Nobody really ever uses the games room. Use that room space for a dungeon room. - What's the point of the garden on the NW side of the house? I'm assuming you're going to use the formal garden as the entrance, since it's closer to a few important rooms. Dungeon critique: - What is the point of the 3 junctions around the oubliette? You can see that they do not lead anywhere, and half the traps will never be triggered. Remove the N and E ones, and replace the W one with another oubliette - either with a Rocnar or flame pit. - I'm not sure I like the idea of the stairs halfway through the dungeon - it means you can just skip half of the challenge. Replace it with another oubliette. - The junction E of the stairs is pointless, as the traps will never be triggered. I'm going to go ahead and say that junction rooms are pointless. Just use oubliettes - you can build a guard, plus a rocnar which patrols the whole room. - Put the Treasure Room outside viewing distance of the oubliette - don't let the player see what they're up against. - If you have a spare 11m, build a treasure room on the N and E sides of the final junction (make it an oubliette), and put a marble door so that players are stuck there. Then build two Tok-Xil boss monsters, which will range the player as they get attacked by the Rocnar and try to pick/force the ridiculously difficult marble door. (Half of my time spent in Runescape is dedicated to improving my dungeon )
  5. All of my networth is from skilling. All of it. I'm not going to whine about how I have the worst luck in Runescape - I'm only halfway to 99HP, so I'd be surprised if I had got a decent drop by now. Plus, none of my friends ever do any GWDing - I offer to tank and they still decline, so I know they're not lying . Obviously I'll never be as rich as merchants or big-bird killers, so I'll say monster hunting is far, far better.
  6. Fairly random. Somewhat like a champion scroll, only a little more common. I've had two of them in perhaps 600 kills, but that could just be luck. The other slayer heads are certainly much rarer.
  7. Then you have cheap, mass-produced, quality-controlled, fantastic lemonade. I see no problem. Also, TET events don't generate any revenue.

    1. Get Firefox 2. Go to the address bar 3. Type "about:config" 4. Search for "browser.backspace_action" 5. Right-click > Modify 6. Change the value to 0 7. Click OK 8. Backspace no longer functions as a page-back key.
  9. You need to go past the ladder which leads to the DK room, and follow the path up to the Lighthouse for a few steps. As for the champ scroll: Hunting for one requires the same level of determination as hunting for a d chain from a dust devil. Just keep fighting stuff, and you'll get one eventually. It took me about 6m exp at the Armoured Zombies to get one.
  10. Yes. But only if you win every game, and use it on hp. Otherwise, it's less effective than training on.. Well, anything you normally would with 92+ stats.
  11. The Camelot tele is only different if you're wearing the headband. No headband = normal teleport. Oh, you're right. I usually wear it during a farming run to get the flax, so that would make sense. But now it seems pointless for a different meaning. Who's going to withdraw a headband from their bank so that they can teleport to somewhere slightly closer to a different bank?
  12. A comment on the Seer's Village Diary changes: I'm willing to bet that when Camelot Teleport is cast, 80% of the time it's so that a player can run to the Catherby farming patch for a herb run. Now we have to run about twice the distance. :(
  13. ITT: People try this and Jagex gets flooded with playing-time requests The only reason I posted a 'negative' response was because I asked about a year ago, and the J-mod gave me a clear, concise "no".
  14. Perhaps you already have another instance of Runescape running in a different tab. That stops you from switching display modes, it always gets me #-o
  15. Defence. I got it fairly quickly, and was as proud as I expected I would be. Now going for 99 hunter then construction, to trim it. Man, I'm an awesome storyteller.
  16. I find the games are often more balanced if you play on non-SW worlds - just played a game in 98, and we almost drew 2-3. Camping the supplies area is just plain cheap, simply because the take-x dialogue can be interrupted by someone attacking you with an msb on rapid. Should be behind a barrier, like CW. Also, is it just me or is 7350 hitpoints exp per point at level 92 waay too high? Assuming I always won, I could gain about 60k exp/hr in hitpoints just from the zeal points.
  17. Because the KBD, like the KQ, requires no slayer level to kill.
  18. Goodbye, I suppose. I don't really know who you are, but you seem liked, so I assume you will be missed. Hm, that wasn't much of a goodbye... Have a good life. May you drink many half-wines, eat many expensive pumpkins and befriend many people in your IRL exploits.
  19. Usually a mixture of knowledge (understanding the different training methods and their efficiency), patience and dedication. It's mostly just hard work. A lot of hard work. And in the case of skills like runecrafting or mining, a ridiculously, painfully large amount of hard work.
  20. What a reassuringly perceptive and eloquent man. The future looks a little bit brighter.
  21. WTF? She's famous for something? I remember meeting her at a farming patch when I was a noob and commented on her firecape, then she added me after I asked. This was right up before I got 99 magic, so she could've done something amazing during that time frame. She became super preoccupied and started nolifing with private off. I talked to her a few times since then, but we no longer talk to each other. Anyway, she hates Tip.It. Seem familiar? She's the main model for the RS Wiki, but since she doesn't have 99 everything she sometimes gets people to dress up like her and display the summoning cape, and that sort of stuff.
  22. im not a member and never have been, but doesnt construction allow u to make storage space for ur items so u have more bank space  in my case i think it would by firemaking at the moment. Its not totally useless but u cant compare it to the other skills out there. Storage space? Feh, that's nothing. Tele portals and gilded altars are where it's at. And he said it's useless. Use a good 500k, organise the Teleports nicely and BAM! you can stay on ancient magiks and use a home tablet x 100 since the house becomes a teleport Hub. I agree. Such a house is invaluable to: 1. Slaying (you can get around everywhere, and still use Lunar magic, or Ancient magic or whatever. 2. Barrowing with ice spells (Kharyll teleport for free). 3. Questing. 4. Clue hunting. 5. Penguin hunting. A very useful thing. The only problem is acquiring the House teleport tabs - either cash out to get Con for a Mahogany Eagle lectern, ask around in hopes of lending the house, or buy from GE at a modest price. And I'd rather see visitors get repeatedly bashed in the head by a rocnar after failing the teleport trap, then stumble back upstairs only to be blinded by a shiny model of the solar system than have some pointy grey armour.
  23. I love my whip. But one of my friends is level 3, so it's not very useful to him. His main method of transportation is teleportation tablets, but since I actually want magic exp, I use regular runes. The usefulness of anything depends entirely on what it's being used for.
  24. Don't see how spending money on skills is wasting them... But since you seem to take that attitude, you could buy a black mask and an amulet of fury and start slaying. That equipment should do fine, unless you want to complete Recipe For Disaster, or try for a Fire Cape. Armour like Bandos and the Dragonfire shield isn't really that useful, unless you're not blowing your entire bank on it. You could raise your construction to 69 and get a gilded altar, which would make your prayer training much faster. I suppose you could buy 99 cooking or fletching if you're looking for a cheaper obsidian cape. Then just use whatever's left over to train herblore, farming, crafting - all those expensive, but strangely satisfying stats. Or, invest it in pure essence and profit while gaining runecrafting exp. Not really sure why I'm giving financial advice, I spend most of my money on marble and golf leaf.
  25. From my experience, that is nowhere near. I have killed hundreds of green dragons, with no egg drop. No idea what the rate actually is, but it's low. Very low. You don't have 99 summon... Heehee. OT: I've heard of people getting them in anywhere from 50 to 1000 kills. Since there are so few 99 summoners, and they're not likely to drop the egg once they get it, the sample size is small, and so an accurate droprate can't really be ascertained.
