  1. A primitive sky-god, whose identity has been perpetuated by people who either did not have the information to understand our world, or still refuse to look at the evidence.
  2. I agree. Nothing that anyone has ever done in the history of the human race deserves any respect, because someone else could have done it somehow.

Because the G.E prices for Party Hats are ridiculously off-target, people usually do junk-trades to make the trade more even. I don't know if there are any f2p junk items, but if there aren't, it looks like you're stuck with your phat.
  4. No, you can't use the cannon in either of those minigames.
  5. Alright, I've been looking at a number of Fight Caves guides, and I'm getting some conflicting advice. So, I have a few questions... [hide=Starting the fight]When Jad first spawns and you can't see him, which prayer should you be using? As far as I can tell, neither the mage nor ranged attack has a distinctive sound before it's activated, so does that mean there's a 50% chance of death?[/hide] [hide=During the fight]Does it make sense to just keep my prayer on mage, unless Jad stomps to start his ranged attack? The only decent indication that he's about to do a mage attack is when the ball appears on his back, before he shoots it out. Will that be enough, or should I keep the prayer on mage by default?[/hide] [hide=Setup]My outfit will be: Verac's helmet Amulet of fury Ava's accumulator 2k broad-tipped bolts (I'm cheap) Rune crossbow Karil's leathertop Unholy book Armadyl plateskirt Barrow gloves Snakeskin boots Archers ring Now, because I've lost a lot of defensive power by swapping verac's skirt with the armadyl skirt (which means that I gain +27 ranged and lose -1 prayer), the 90s are going to hurt a lot. Should I bring a granite shield to save a few Sara brew doses? I've got a spare inventory spot anyway. Also, should I fork out a few extra coins for better bolts, if I either run out or decide to use them on Jad? Last attempt I used ruby bolts(e) and they worked quite well on Jad. But then, I didn't healers attacking me. Oh, and does the accumulator work with broad bolts?[/hide] Thanks for the help.
  6. Well actually it would be level 110 is the new 100. You gain 12 combat levels from summoning, and I really doubt a level 100 (or 110, I'm confused) would have 80? summoning. Perhaps that analogy is not entirely valid. 7/10, that's quite the milestone. I remember when I reached 3 digits... It wasn't that long ago, actually
  7. I heard you talking about a snapdragon thread in the clan chat, but I didn't expect it to be quite this spectacular. 10/10, that's an amazing achievement. Now go buy a few victory crackers.
  8. I bet that dragon could beat my squirrel  Still, 10/10. I've never seen an adult monkey, it looks even better than the dragon imo.
  9. I play Runescape and Crysis. If I told my friends about the former, I think their heads would explode. FPShooters are designed to be visually attractive, since the main element of the game is the environment you're playing in. MMOs are more focused on the quality of the players, and on that level most MMOs are equal. I'm perplexed when my friend labels me a GFX [cabbage], yet cringes at the mention of pixellated Runescape. By the way, graphics are usually processed by the GPU ;)
  10. Could be interesting to see power struggles emerge. Jagex could be aiming for the type of gameplay that the new Warhammer MMO will introduce, but nobody really knows how much weight fansites hold in Jagex's decision-making processes. I don't really care for PVP anyway, so I don't really care. The only part of the update that will bother me is the inevitable changes to the economy.
  11. Guess I'll have to start training combat and everything else if I want to keep my quest cape. Maybe it'd be easier to just get a couple of 99s... Hrm. Still, this does sound very interesting. If it can top Dream Mentor in combat difficulty, or MEP2 in frustration value, it's going to be one for the records. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, they haven't given us a great deal of clues...
  12. Tsk Tsk :(. That's certainly not the spirit of the game... Then why do they start them? I only defend myself, even though I might've provoked it. If I was a hot head, like the hypothetical "Emoteploxee" in question, I would be offended by them wanting me to waste my time for them by doing the emote. Sure, I am offended, but I let it out in an ironic, passive aggresive manner, that gets through to them quite a bit better than flat out screaming. Asking someone to show you their cape emote is not provoking an argument any more than asking to borrow someone's car is a provokation for a violent assault. They just want to see the emote, you're the one looking for an argument. Tsk, I say to you. Tsk.
  13. Look at my stats. Then, take into account that my best drop ever has been a black mystic robe bottom, and I've done many a barrows or Graardor trip. No, I don't think such a thing exists.
  14. It's an internet game aimed at kids and young adults. People frequently pick fights for no solid reason, due simply to the anonymity. Unfortuntely, it's part of the territory. However, I do agree - unless what you've done is against the rules, you've trained the skill in the correct way. Of course, it might be a bit much to say that 99 cooking achieved by buying the raw fish is as much an achievement as doing it by cooking fish that you've fished yourself, but obviously the additional 99 fishing would make that obvious. Also, with the magic-in-fight-pits thing, if you can't beat them, join them. If you can't actually cast the devastating spell, you shouldn't be flaming the person in the first place. But if you can, why not use it? It's like flaming someone in the duel arena because they're using a godsword and you're wearing a whip and a santa hat.
  15. I guess you would be obtaining an unfair advantage, because a family member is rich and willing to give you stuff. But really, it shouldn't break any rules. Proceed at your own risk though, Jagex can be touchy about that sort of stuff, and automated replies are given out more often than genuine responses to appeals.
  16. Wow, that's odd. I frequently have conversations with people of equal maturity, and we never seem to have any difficulty communicating. Perhaps you need to expand your vocabulary, or at least realise that it's possible to express yourself without swearing. Also, when asking for the sort of personal details mentioned in the start of the original post, some tact is usually required. Don't use public chat, pm the person you're asking. And make sure you already know them well, and are sure that they won't report you. I think I'd still use the kiddy servers, to be honest.
  17. The lunar tablets are going to be brilliant - I might see how effective the spellbook is for slayer. Depending on how easy the tokens are to obtain, it might make runecrafting slightly easier, but at ~800 per game, it can't be that dramatic. Still, that's about 20 trips to an alter, which is reasonably significant... Nothing else seems to be too interesting, and the robes are, as far as I can tell, pointless. Plus, they look too much like the Fist of Guthix's druid robes:
  18. I've been playing for 5 years. I have a netwealth of ~5m, and a total of ~1730. You're not a failure, believe me.
  19. From what I've gathered, good ratings are only given to achievements are truly amazing. So, since two players already have > 1 billion exp, I guess this isn't much of an achievement. I'll go against the grain and say 9/10.
  20. Heh, nice. I really should practise my minesweeper skills, it seems like an interesting way to gain seeds...
  21. 0/10 lolol ur done sumthin i done lots but was probly scared 2 do first tiem but I still rate u bad Seriously, how is this not an achievement? Next people will be flamed for finally getting their first whip, or achieving the quest cape. 7/10. I'm way too scared to go to the dag kings :? Good luck with future trips!
  22. I suddenly feel extremely inadequate. 10/10, for sure.
  23. I think I broke the 1m mark by barrowing. Then I spent it on construction. It kept repeating itself up until about now.
  24. There's almost certainly going to be a sequel. Heck, they may as well had "Stay tuned for part 2" display in the chat box when you finish it. It does seem to be the perfect place for a soul alter, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. Jagex have a habit of postponing quest sequels...
