Differently coloured charms are used to create different pouches. For example, a blue charm is used to create a runite minotaur, while a gold charm is used to create a granite crab. Because of this, they vary in rarity, blue being the rarest (I think).

I just got two in one drop from a big guy, at least they won't be excruciatingly slow to collect.

Abberant spectres seem to drop differently coloured charms at the same rate - I left with about 3 of each on a slayer task.

The wire would be too long, and it would be difficult to get it through the house into my room. Also, im not leeching someone elses bandwidth :) I'm using an ethernet cable that would easily reach down two stories. Well, unless you're living above a loft. Just get a technician to put it up through a wall or something, I'm sure they could do that. There wouldn't be any cooling issues. Just make sure you don't have possums.

The only problems I've had are the UAC, which you can turn off, and the fact that this 32-bit version is only using 3.5gb of my 4gb ram. Other than that, it's a great operating system. Oh wait, come to think of it, with my ol' Radeon card, I got a lot of error messages while running Media Center and fullscreen games at the same time. I can't remember what it's called, but neither Nvidia or ATi have come out with a solution as of yet. The problem went away when I set up a vista-xp dual boot, though.

It depends what you're going to use it for. I've been using a run-of-the-mill Dell pc, with a Radeon X1300. I salvaged a few dell parts, and bought a new GeForce 8800GTS 512mb (along with a new psu :( ) and I've noticed a huge difference in framerates. If you're just going to be doing some word processing or Runescape playing, I'd suggest you just get a replacement fan. However, if you're going to get something that you're going to use for a while, may as well go for quality! It also depends on whether you can fit any card in your case, or just low-rise ones. (This depends on your motherboard and case)

The only item tied to luck is the ring of wealth. The seercull is pretty much entirely designed to a) Look cool, and B) Put a stop to mages in the wilderness and castlewars.

I usually just dump all my downloaded stuff in a folder, then rediscover it several months later. I have two 19" screens, so space isn't really an issue for me. Plus, I don't really get annoyed having to trawl through a sea of icons.
