Was it worn by the Shilo master? Unfortunately, most Runescape players deal in absolutes, so you won't be recognized unless you get an untrimmed slayer cape. An incredible achievement, the temptation of getting a cape must have been unbearable at times. Or, maybe not, I have no idea. Anyway, congrats. It's incredible. =D>

Both were a great read. I laughed when I read the part about the friend being so apathetic about the writer achieving the quest cape. The same thing happened to me. So, I'm trying for a firecape now, perhaps that'll earn me a couple of 'wow!'s. Or, perhaps not.. :?

Nothing major. Sometimes I'll find some adamant legs and a wilderness team cape, along with some trout, that's about it.

This is hands-down the best part of the update for me. "Ooh, infinite waterfilled vials for 10gp each, nice.. Heh, a friend just bought 250k needles. 14 gp per bronze knife.. Wha?!" They're just one ranged bonus lower than iron knives, and you could buy three for the price of one iron knife. I plan to exploit this as much as I can before Jagex nerfs it. However, maybe they won't.. They had to recode everything, and surely they would have realised they were making bronze knives 14gp a pop. Either way..

Argh! I got to wave 40, then the power died, shutting off the internet. I had 55 super restore doses, 22 sara brew doses and 6 range potion doses left. Would I have been able to make it? Now that I have a bit more experience, I think I'd be able to save a few more super restore doses next time. Edit: The same thing just happened, only at wave 52. I give up.

There are a few great rune pure fight cave guides floating around, if you search the RSOF you should find a few. Muggi's strategies most likely apply to a lot of the things you do, but some parts might need to be altered, not sure. Just wondering.. If I have medium-high level equipment, 80 defence, 81 hp and 72 ranged, would it be worth sacrificing the extra super restore for about 250 ruby bolts (e) to use on Jad? Oh, and does blood forfeit remove 10% of your total hits, or 10% of your remaining hits? Edit: This is my setup (all the advised potions)

I went skillcape-spotting in world 2 once, and got them all within about 20 minutes. Plus, people usually stand still typing, so you can move a few spaces in front of them, then maneuver the camera to get a zoomed-in view of the cape. As for the emotes, that could be harder.. Though I'm sure people will oblige if you ask nicely. :)

If that were the case, nobody would get blackmarks for offensive language. If someone spews stars, you can't report them. However, if they say something that would obviously be offensive, like what fmv_hero said, then they could get in trouble. Since it is *technically* against rule one, you could get in trouble. Just remember, no matter where you are, someone will report you if it's against the rules. Remember that and you should be safe.

There's almost certainly alien life out there, I just doubt there are many other planets with species like us on them. Even if there were, why the heck would aliens, that can travel between galaxies, even care we exist? Unless they're looking for mistakes to learn from.. Heh, let's not even get into the moon landing. And you've gotta remember, people are presented with two explanations for almost everything. 1. (Insert complicated, completely logical scientific explanation here). 2. God made it.

That's [cabbage] - the customer is not 'always right' - and people who come into a store thinking that deserve to get shafted by the employees and essentially told to leave. If management sides with the customer - get another job. Management which is bullied by customers isn't worth working for because utlimately you will always lose at the end of the day. I have argued with customers about the 'always right' line way too many times to remember and my managers have always backed me up. That's asuming what you are arguing is a case where they are definately wrong. Hell, if you're unsure about something - check first. Just don't let them push you around with attitude, otherwise you're setting yourself up to just have a [cabbage] day whenever it happens. Just remember, you're obliged to serve the customer and be polite, it's what you're being paid to do. Sure, you'll get some crazy customers that need setting straight, but you always need to be polite. The customers are paying you for your service (in a roundabout way). Besides, being kind and helpful is sometimes the best tactic; the ruder the customer is to you, the more polite you are. It annoys the heck out of them :wink:.

Well, everything in the sky is a U.F.O until someone identifies it. However, I seriously doubt they're controlled by aliens. It's just one of those things that I'd need to see, touch and prod to believe. There are actually a lot of explanations for various U.F.O sightings, by the way. For example, when a pilot is flying over the ocean, especially at night, he or she can become disoriented, and not realise that they're flying upside down. So, the lights on the plane are reflected off the water, creating a 'U.F.O' effect. To paraphrase Carl Sagan: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proofs.

To me there is no inherent importance in belonging to the same species. I'm an individual, as are you. Whether you are human, klingon, dolphin or butterfly is secondary. So why are there laws against cannibalism, yet few against eating other species?

There is something mentally wrong with you. In fact, a lot of people on this thread are messed up. A human life is more valuable than an animal's life. Full stop. And if you think otherwise, you need to rethink your moral values. An animal does not have a brain even close to ours. It's just not as developed. Perhaps you should stop looking at animals, and focus on not killing members of your own species. Animals don't even have human emotions. Ever saw your dog smile? Well, it didn't. Dogs don't have cheeks. Now, not all animals are great. For example, monkeys murder each other. Species knowingly commit infanticide (killing your child). Dolphin males even pack rape females. Would you spare the person abusing the murderous monkey, or let the murderous monkey live, and the member of your own species live? Oh, by the way, I'm a member of PETA, like many others. America invaded Iraq for the oil. If Al Qaeda had control of iraq's oil, the world economy would largely shut down. Just think about it. Nothing could be exported or imported, stocks in oil would go insane, etc. The economy would be largely controlled by terrorists. Just imagine that. In Australia, we were extremely worried when oil prices rose by ~30%. Imagine the leap in price if it were to be blocked off entirely. So, America went in to make sure the economy stayed stable. Oh yeah, and something about WOMD, or so some politicians say.

Our school is trying. However, since all students are lessees of laptops, we can present them with federal laws stopping them. Funny stuff. Teachers are simply battling on a field they have no control over.
