  1. I have very deep beliefs in the Invisible Pink Unicorn.
  2. There is something mentally wrong with you. In fact, a lot of people on this thread are messed up. A human life is more valuable than an animal's life. Full stop. And if you think otherwise, you need to rethink your moral values. An animal does not have a brain even close to ours. It's just not as developed. Perhaps you should stop looking at animals, and focus on not killing members of your own species. Animals don't even have human emotions. Ever saw your dog smile? Well, it didn't. Dogs don't have cheeks. Now, not all animals are great. For example, monkeys murder each other. Species knowingly commit infanticide (killing your child). Dolphin males even pack rape females. Would you spare the person abusing the murderous monkey, or let the murderous monkey live, and the member of your own species live? Oh, by the way, I'm a member of PETA, like many others. Proud Eater of Tasty Animals. Edit: Realising that people will read many things into my post and flame me with them, I'll say this: I do not condone animal cruelty. It's wrong. But to value an animal's life over a human's is worse.
  3. Generalisation. Simple as that. I don't force my beliefs on anyone. I just get attacked a lot and take the defensive. Atheists are one of the, if not the most, untrusted minorities.
  4. Ooh. Concise, eloquent.. I'm going to have to make a blog now. Thanks!
  5. I knew the ectophial smashed when you dropped it, but not when you died. Ah well. As for the fighter torso, I'm fairly sure it's the same situation as the firecape. If you're quick enough, you can run back and grab it. That's why it's a great option for low-wildy pkers. Edit: The torso can't be dropped, only destroyed. So you'd have to die with it. Trouble is, how would I die near the Barbarian Assault arena? Are there any foods that poison you when eaten?
  6. I was just wondering, is it possible to get placeholders for this sort of item? I've heard of people dying, then running back to the place where you re-obtain the item, then picking up the one they just dropped, thereby giving them two of the item. Does this work? I'm sure the trip from Canifis pub to the ectofuntus can't be more than three minutes.
  7. Your cat has to become overgrown before Felkrash will turn it into a wily cat. Did you get the messages saying "Your cat has caught (25/50) rats!"?
  8. Ehrm.. Torag's platebody from barrows, and once I got two curved bone drops in a row at the cave horrors. That's about it. I've been playing for 3 years, so I've got to be due for some luck sooner or later..
  9. Well, I got to wave 25, then died. .. But that's to be expected, since I was just in there to get a feel for the safespots, and I had one prayer potion and a crystal bow (3). They don't seem too hard to use at all, which is surprising, since the Nw-Ne-Se-Sw update was said to be the be-all and end-all. This'll be my setup: Veracs Helm > Helm of Neitiznot > God Mitre > Proselyte Helm > Initiate Helm > Archer Helm > Robin Hood Hat Trimmed 99 Cape > God Cloak > Ava's Accumulator > 99 Cape > Obsidian Cape > Legends Cape > God Cape > Regular Cape Fury > God Stole > Unholy Symbol > Glory Rune Crossbow (1k mithril or greater bolts, picking up) + Unholy Book > Two Crystal Bows > Karils Crossbow (5k bolt racks) Karils Leathertop > Black Dragonhide Body > Monk Robe Top Veracs Plateskirt > Proselyte Platelegs/Skirt > Initiate Platelegs/Skirt > Monk Robe Bottom Gloves (Barrows) > Black Vambraces Ranger Boots > Snakeskin Boots > Frog-leather Boots > White Boots Archers Ring > Ring of Recoil Almost 72 ranged, and 80 defence. I can safespot, lure and prayerswitch fine, all that stand in my way are the logistics! Anyone have any suggestions for my equipment or anything?
  10. I did some thinkin' on this a while ago, after reading a RSOF thread undervaluing quest capes. In total, the prerequisite stats add up to about 7m exp. Those are the bare minimum. However, you need 85 combat for Dream mentor, so that's another 3m+ exp. Those prereqs also include things like farming and herblore, so they're not easy to get. Then the quests. Even the shorter ones add up, and with quests like MEP.2, One Small Favour and so forth, it's a considerable amount of time to get them all done. It's really difficult to work out exactly how long though, but it would easily be well over 30 hours. I think. Edit: OK, let me ask you something: Should I aim for a Quest Cape or for 99 Fletching and Cooking? I don't care which one, all I really want is the cape. Which would be faster? Fletching cape trimmed would be awesome. Which is faster? A cooking cape would take far less time. Even fletching would be easier, in my opinion. It depends, however, on whether you want to have fun getting the cape, or doing something over and over.
  11. That guide still works fine. I tried it out today, and had no problems. Using a crossbow with mithril bolts is more effective than karil's bow or crystal bows, as most people have said on Muggiwhplar's discussion thread. Somewhere around page 35 there's an ASCII safespot drawing as well.. Ooh, here it is. Here you will be protected from any spawn except 33 Explanation: Spawn (11):: Will get stuck at point 1, and you cannot be harmed as long as you stay behind the wall. Spawn (22) and (44):: Will get stuck at poin 24, allowing you to range it safely Spawn (33):: This is the problem spot. If you are unlucky enough to get a 180 to spawn here, its time to dance. Basically, you will run to point 24, then to point 1. Quickly run to point 3, then back to your safespot. This should effectivly place the 180 somewhere around the middle (22) spawn (con*.) ### :: Run to this corner if a monster range/mages you from too far away to retaliate against. The monster will come closer, and you can range it safely again.
  12. Nobody, really. I have a couple of good friends, that I talk to a lot, but we never really meet up and do stuff together. It does sort of make the game less fun, I suppose, but I would be devastated if I lost them.
  13. Here they are. Not the greatest achievement in Runescape's history, in case you were expecting that. I'm thinking of quitting, since I only have a couple friends left. The rest have sort of drifted away, into other MMOs, or just real life. My bank isn't shown, since it's worth a total of ~2m. (Saved it as a Jpeg. #-o ) Oh yeah - 98 combat, and 247 quest points. So what do you think? Should I stay or go? I'm thinking of getting a firecape, perhaps 99 thieving, since PP is so fast, and I love the skill. If I stay, that is.
  14. If you're not afraid of getting hit by dragonfire and dying, I guess. Dragonfire hits far more than you'd be healed, so I wouldn't reccommend it.
  15. Hey, I saw you in Lumbridge earlier. Thanks for making my day interesting! Good luck on your goals n' stuff, a cooking cape should not remain untrimmed for long. :)
  16. If you go into the observatory goblin dungeon, just east of the Observatory, and walk to the east of the ladder, you can watch two female goblins gossip for a while, then insult the human race. Quite funny.
  17. Someone didn't read very scrupulously, eh.. Attack, strength, defence, hitpoints, range and woodcutting for me. Wow, I really need to do something about this..
  18. No, you can't. It really annoys me. Perhaps they'll release a gilded and marble dresser sometime..
  19. It's like saying 'Mm, delicious!' when eating an Ugthanki kebab, or 'Ow!' when you drop a vial of explosives in Castlewars. It's coded.

They spawn in a dead-end path in Lletya. I used to collect them to fund my crazy schemes, you just pick them up, then use the elf crystal to teleport back and bank. Rinse and repeat. Well, not rinse, white berries don't react well to plain water.
  21. I'm pretty sure that's not a possible reward from a clue scroll. Level 3 scrolls would give rune pickaxes, and I don't think any clue reward ever contained noted ores.

Anywhere the wind takes me. Usually just sitting somewhere thinking of what to do next, while talking to friends.
  23. Partyhat. You can just make one out of paper in a couple of seconds.
  24. I saw a 'Cunning Stunt' once'. Heh heh.
  25. I'll probably.. start training construction again! Oh, wait, I promised myself I wouldn't do that again.. Hm, 67 construction for a dungeon can't cost that much, can it?
