All swedish servers are back up and working lag free. There was no rollback...the servers just crashed.

Panic over. :roll: I just logged in on world 45 despite it saying my character was already logged in a couple of minutes ago. OMGZ I WASNT HAXXORED IM SO LUCKY

Calm down people. This has happened several times before. If it says your character has logged in, don't worry. It is simply because you were on a server that crashed. Once they fix the server you will be able to log back in as normal. No-one is on your account.

124 just went down and it took my character with it. Now it's stuck and I can't login on another server. -.-

In the days of early rsc, before even rune was released I spent many hours fishing lobsters on karamja and sailing to port sarim to cook and sell them. Doing this time after time I finally managed to buy the coveted addy plate for the 40k it was back then. :

I would prefer no updates. Why are updates so important to you? I've been playing 6 years and I still haven't fully experienced what is already in the game.

That's a very good idea. You should make that suggestion on the official forums. Favourite things: Costume Room Gilded altar. Teleport portals. Personally what annoys me about most about construction is that the (very expensive) monsters don't give drops or xp. I'd love to be able to kill my own steel dragon in my dungeon but if I don't get the drops or the xp I'm certainly not going to pay 10m for the privilege. :| Other than the 20 room limit I don't have any other complaints. As for improvements. The one quoted above is a very good idea. They could also try and speed up the teleport to the house (I don't know if this is possible given how much data the house takes up though).

If all RuneScape players were adults, had an average or better IQ and a very good understanding of English I think most people will agree with you (including me). There is nothing wrong with taking greedy fools money. However there are a lot of RuneScapers who do not fit into these categories and by scamming people you will unwittingly take vulnerable people's money. Personally I have no sympathy for people who have been scammed unless they have a severe deficiency in the 3 areas I mentioned. I started this game at the tender age of 15 back in 2001 and I have never been scammed a penny because I have never been greedy, or stupid enough to think there is such a thing as a free lunch. I can see your point about a survial of the fittest society but unfortunately life is not that simple. The vulnerable people in the world have to be protected.

Personally I couldn't care less about capes and have no idea why anyone would want to "show off" on a game. I maxed my melee almost two and a half years ago because I enjoyed pking so much back then and was living in the wilderness. The only reason I bought a cape is because it's got good stats. I certainly wouldn't have got a 99 just for a cape and I have no interest in getting other 99s purely for the cape. However I think the amount of 99 cooking and fletching capes around shows that I am in the minority.

It's very, very easy to tell the difference between gold farmers/autoers and legitimate players. Just the other day I went to lumbridge to plant a tree and decided to cut the yews while I was there. Look what I found.. All level 3-4 wearing the same tutorial item clothing, holding steel woodcutting axes and with only woodcutting in the highscores. Yes, I reported them all. They are now all banned. Anyone who has been playing RuneScape for a long time knows that before rs2 came out the game was plagued by autoers. This is now repeating itself with the gold farmers. This is a huge problem that from what I have seen is getting worse on a weekly basis. Everytime I visit that farming patch I see at 2-3 autoers/gold farmers at the very least. This is far, far more important than people who don't want to play the full game and decide to stay level 3 for some ludicrous attention grabbing reason. Please make sure you report ANY suspicious level 3 you see.

Ah I feel for you mate. I am in almost the same situation. I'm 80k from 91 farming and I've had to get it with junk seeds (oranges, curry, willows)- mostly from my kingdom. It's very frustrating getting 20k xp a day while rich people can get 150k a day without lifting a finger. As much as I like farming I hate how easy it is to buy 99. I think you should keep planting your cheap fruit tree seeds though because if you go for 99 the expensive way it will cost more like 80m not 30m :P Good luck, keep the faith. =D>

Pretty fun quest. It's nice to have a short quest where you don't have to waste time running about for pointless items (except the goutweed). The final fights are incredibly easy. I finished it with 99 hp remaining having only eaten 4 sharks. I took my very best equipment e.g. barrows, whip etc. Anyone who does the same can easily beat the "bosses". P.s. I turned on prayer before entering the dreamworld and it didn't work.

Yes I do the same thing. I plant my 4 fruit trees in the same hour of the day, every day. At least I try to. Lately I've noticed this change too. I've been doing this farming routine since a week after farming was released. Initially there were times when my four fruit trees did not grow within the 24 hours. However this happened only occasionally and until recently it had not happened for more than 18 months. I put this down to the trees getting diseased and thus getting delayed growth while the farmer cured them. As when it was first happening I was only a lowish level in farming. However I am level 90 now and in the last month or so it has started happening again. It's especially bad at weekends. Recently 3 out of 4 pineapple trees failed to grow within 24 hours of planting, and 2 failed to grow within 30 hours. :-k I believe before the last month or so trees grew at a set rate of 14.6 hours, unless they were diseased in which case their growth was stunted temporarily and the time period extended. However this seems to have gone haywire in the last month and now they seem to be taking random times. I sincerely hope Jagex put this right soon, it's very annoying!

Exactly. It's been nerfed and is just a weapon for level 60s now. :|

2001. I'd be gobsmacked if anyone played rsc and did not choose one of those years as their favourites. Rsc was infinitely more fun. Every update enhanced the game and was well thought out and there was a much better community.
