Pretty much the same. What exactly do you want to know about?

I swear most tip.iters could start an argument in an empty room. Anyway, enough ana-lie-sing. I'm off to drive my jag-wahr to the libury. I hope your mum comes back soon.

"Members can now craft Blood Runes"
Capone_Sabre replied to diamondgreen's topic in General Discussion
Err...I can't say I do (except bloods and laws) None of the runes you mentioned cost more than 320 each now. Bloods already are 500-600 each and souls are 300-400 each That's pretty much guaranteed since there is no 2x for the two highest runes we can craft already (deaths and laws). In reality, blood crafting will probably never come out. It will be too much of a headache trying to slow people down. If they were as fast to craft as deaths or nats, they would end up being almost the same price. Which is something Jagex probably want to avoid. You have no clue what you're saying when you say that Jagex will want to avoid dropping prices in runes. Jagex couldn't care less about the price of anything. They leave the economy into the hands of the players as far as how much things cost. That, and it has been confirmed by jagex that Blood and Soul crafting will be released, but as to how far ahead in the future it will be, is not known. Death runes took years, but they came out. People said all the time they'd never release them. But they did. You don't seem to have a clue about common sense. It doesn't make sense to make bloods as easy to craft as other runes when they are supposed to be higher than deaths and chaos. Jagex are not idiots. Haven't you noticed bloods cost a lot more in the shops than deaths? Why would they do that if they didn't care that bloods should be more expensive. 5 years after the first dragon items were released we still don't have the kite or plate. Don't hold your breath. -

The ignorance on this topic is staggering. :? Indonesia is a peaceful nation. I spent 2 and a half years living there. It's one of the most laid back, friendly and safe places I have ever been. You can walk anywhere, buy a beer anywhere. The same can not be said for London, or most western cities. Indonesia is a world away from the middle east. There are extremists there of course, just like there are in every western country. But 99.99% of people there are friendly, peaceful Muslims/Buddhists/Hindus/Catholics who just want to get on with their own lives. Obama will not give an insight into how the roots of Muslim extremism start because he probably never came across it! If you want someone who has first hand experience of that, elect a President who's lived in Iran. Or North London. Most Americans don't even own a passport. A President who's lived abroad will actually have some knowledge about the 96% of people in the world who aren't American, unlike your current chimp. He is not a terrorist planning to bring America down from the inside just because he went to a Muslim school abroad. -.- That is one of the most ignorant and racist things I have ever heard.

Split the General Discussion board
Capone_Sabre replied to Adam007's topic in Forum Updates and Suggestions
I think that even that could be included in this hypothetical "polls and surveys" sub/forum. Pretty much all question topics, to which no real discussion arises. All "what if" threads, "what is your favourite" threads, "what do you think" threads, "what would you do if" threads, "which would you rather" threads, blah blah blah. I could go on for hours. Basically all question topics for which the answer could only be a few words or a simple picture (in other words, no discussion). It might be a bit difficult at first for people to realize the distinction between something that would belong in the subforum and something that would belong in General Discussion, but after a while I think it will work out pretty well. I agree with you. However in their mind, they think it's a genuine discussion rather than a poll. If you have a look at the thread they are debating it and arguing with eachother. Unless it's a more straight forward poll such as "what's your favourite minigame" I can still see those type of pointless threads appearing in the general forum. I guess it will just create more work for you, along with the 10 questions a day that are incorrectly posted there. :| -
Ever do anything that makes people think you're nuts?

That doesn't make you crazy, that just makes you a jerk. I'm not crazy. I'm just eccentric. -

Split the General Discussion board

What's your favourite "favourite" thread? Is it the favourite item thread? Or is it the favourite mini game thread? The 3 favourite skill cape threads? Or perhaps it's the favourite music thread? Of course, it's not all favourite threads. There will probably be an update tomorrow so you'll be able to find threads with incredible insight such as "omg dragon dragons r coming out soon". You've got a good idea here but to be honest, I think most of the people who post these topics are just to stupid to understand it. We need more specific forums for this kind of spam to be posted in. A Questionnaire forum and a Future Updates forum at the very least. We could also do with a forum for lists. How you stop people posting topics like "wots used more, nats or laws" is beyond me though. -.- -
Oh thank god, they've finally put a name to my ailment. It's not my fault I hate the (female dog). I'm just Pentheraphobic. Yeah.

Wow, that is spectacularly random. It must have taken a lot of them to lift the rock you took out with the tractor into the boot (trunk). :? Have you thought about a new job? It doesn't sound great.

I'm 6'2 and 14st 2 lbs (198 lbs) which makes my BMI just over 25 and I'm definitely not overweight. :-s That sounds like a pretty flawed study to me. They should have done the study on the basis of body fat %. BMI is very misleading. Edit: I just searched google and found a list of famous people who are all over 25 BMI: http://www.consumerfreedom.com/bmiscale/stats.html I am the same height as Andy Rod[bleep] and only 2 pounds heavier, but we're both fatties apparantly. :-k

ARGHHHHH Why have they still not brought back General P2P?

I'm english just so you know but the americans actually use a language closer to what we "created". Where we have added 'U's that the americans don't have derives from the fact that the language we speak no is largely a compendium of earlier languages. Losing the 'U' is closer to forms of archiac english. And we Americans keep you British twits from being blown up... But only the British twits, for some reason we dont protect the nice ones... :-k By the way I think its Archaic English, not Archiac English  P.S. I spell with the extra 'U' in some words and Im American... It looks more mideval and I like it. : In the last 40 years over 1000 people were murdered in Britian by the IRA which were largely funded by Americans. The leader of the "political wing" of the terrorist group (Gerry Adams) went to the USA in 1994 and received a heroes welcome. The IRA have now temporarily laid down their weapons but that is not the end of terrorism for us. We have had one terrorist attack and several dozen attempted terrorist attacks by muslim extremists because of your foreign policy in the middle east. If that's America helping us not to get "blown up", god knows what would happen if you were officially our enemy.

The "Clothes-That-Match-Skill-Capes" Thread (TONS OF PICS)

I don't wear outfits but I was bored so I thought I'd do a DIY job from what's in my bank and house: Not that great but there you go. -
the thing is that not everyone has the same kind of personality as you. Some people are just much more susceptible to addictions like this. Some people can smoke a cigarette every once in a while and never feel the urge to do it anymore than that while others have to smoke constantly. My point is that you can't really judge until you've been in there shoes, I was able to break the hold it had over me but some people need help to do it or at least some intervention. First of all, I realise you have made this relevant to yourself but I am going to keep my statements in a general context as I don't want to offend anyone. This is just my personal view on the problem as a whole. You just can't compare RuneScape to cigarettes. Yes, some people can smoke one or two from time to time but no-one can smoke constantly and then stop without getting physical and chemical withdrawal symptoms. There are no physical withdrawal symptoms with RuneScape, if you try and quit and come back you do not feel physically better. It's just a state of mind. Being chemically addicted to something like cigarettes or drugs is very different from being emotionally addicted to something like RuneScape. If you smoked heavily or took drugs and had to stop cold turkey you would have terrible withdrawal symptoms and that is the difference. Anyone should be able to quit RuneScape if it is having an adverse effect on their life. If they can't, they should get help from someone. RuneScape can only be compared to other computer games or other enjoyable pass times like watching TV. If people choose to become addicted, it's because of a negative trait in their personality. Not everyone has this trait and I'm getting sick of being told I must naturally have it because I still play this game.
-
I'm sick of hearing people say that RuneScape is a drug or talking about it as if it were the spawn of satan. It's a computer game. I have played for 6 and a half years. Through High School, College, two jobs and my 4 year relationship RuneScape has had no negative effects. It is simply a toy to be picked up and put down at will like any other computer game. I have quit for months at a time when my life was too busy to play without a second thought and then started again when I had the time. If you think that RuneScape is addictive, you have serious psychological and social problems. It's just a computer game, you can't blame your failures in life upon it.

So I'm the only cynic who thinks they couldn't sell all their advertising space this month then? :P
