Looks good now with the text on the arm :D Noo the purpley blue looked hawt Nice one again :D
-
Hmm quite good photos the 4th 5th and 6th ones are the best. If the eye is meant to be a macro shot then why is it blurred? Maybe try to make it all focused :) The blue things from the expose are cool and the clouds are quite good Now experiment with composition

Nice new siggy soa :) love the colours, composition is quite good. It seems a little flat to me may add something to make it have depth? Well done
-

Tis cool now ronnie, now maybe put the text on top of his right arm? Would look quite good there imo
-
Love the position of it and the colours are great ronnie :D Maybe more blending on the left and make the bg colour more bluey to reflect the renders colour Overall well done
-
Cool i see the guy who made it for you used clipping masks effectively :) The lighting is a bit distracting but not too bad Overall a nice sig

Another signature (Purple/orange/redish) *Updated!*

well done mate :) Maybe sharpen the render? The bg looks cool and you made it slightly more interesting :D I know its a smudge sig but it lacks something to make it look deeper. Needs some sort of c4d really, a soft one maybe not to over do it Nice one keep it up -
bit of a bump :( no one posts

Wow love it i love the mountains :D I maybe i should take some advice off you when doing mine (if i get round to carrying it on) :o Keep it up

Ah yes i remember that WIP you did of that one :) Looks fantastic now, the clouds are cool and the reflection on the water is great. The boats looks cool especially on fire :D Well done mate -
You are improving zodiark :) The render does need blending have a look at tuts really. i think you have just blurred the render? sharpen the main bits of the render up as it vreates a real focal point. You could maybe make the text follow the line of the sword to make it fit better :) background is good as well just all needs sharpening up a bit as it seems a bit low quality. Keep it up

Here you go oyro Al re-sized to fit tif reqs

well done mate looks cool, not too over-done and very good as an avatar :D
-
Thanks Julius :) And hah why thankyou :D Thanks man :D Thanks again pyro :) Thanks cowboy. Lol well the actual person (the coloured bit is a render) But the hair designes and the text i added, wanted to get it looking like vegas fonts. I did some other work with the background and added the swirly things to the render and made the render fit nicer. Ermm can't really teach you how :P it was just really an experiment with a style :D i might try making my own person next :) Thanks shiny yea glasses ftw :P Thanks again :) i wanted a proper concept not a bit "bullcrappy" one with bullcrappy meanings :P Sure as long as you use it for a while :D
-
Nice one yaff :) The things coming from the arms look cool, adds flow to the whole thing :) Maybe make the bg more interesting with depth but on the other hand you can't do that very easily with sprites as they are small and you gotta keep the attention on the sprite. Hmm contradicted myself? #-o well done

Added the source picture for the painting as well

Hey all Here is my most recent art piece i did for my final exam for my GCSE's here in the UK. The project was barriers as some of you may remember from my other pieces i posted and i centered around the arrogance and ignorance of people. Some people in the world always seem to be arrogant with their opinions and they never listen to others. I wanted to show this in a visual way of "actions speak louder than words" also by using old book pages as a pre-prepared surface to work on. I did a self portrait using different hues and tones for skin colour. It is not my favourite piece i have done but one of my best acrylic pieces. I did get some of the proportions wrong but that is what you get when sitting down looking at a stretchboard at an odd angle :P Hope you guys like it. [hide=Here be piccie][/hide] [hide=Source pic][/hide] Oh here is a rl picture of me so you can see what i really should look like XD [hide=Pic][/hide] I also did a new signature, just a quick one with a nice render to work with If anyone wants it they can have it if they ask nicely :) That's all guys :)

Hey shiny :) The style of the sig is cool and the blending is good but its not really a render. The low opacity hands make it look odd like julius said. Font is ok maybe somewhere a bit interesting to place it. although you couldn't do much with that much text. Keep it up, you are improving as for the picture you have definately improved from your first drawings. the perspective is a little off on it but the anatomy is good and the pose is cool. Now try to go into more detail when you get more confident at drawing animals then you will be soaring :)

Hah julius Schonbeck is teh famous on tif now! More famous than me now  One of your best sigs tbh little :) The colours are good and the blending is good too. Maybe make the eyes draw to the render more, maybe use the sharpen tool to make it look neater :) I like the text but you need to find a good place to put it mebe but it doesn't look too out-of-place there Keep it up

Haven't done a sig in a while.. Ironman Sig
Chazimcgee replied to Glandringg's topic in Art and Media
I like this sig, the lighting is cool on the render and the background is good as it doesnt draw your attention away from the render. it is also detailed too :) You may need to blend a bit more. Test the ffeather feature although that may look pretty bad, but with the style you are using it may look quite good :P How did you get that background effect? Keep it up
