Sounds like your "mate" told you to go on there on purpose. Real trust-worthy huh. At least in uTorrent you can run an encrypter which doesn't allow the ISP to see it as a "torrent" file :) . Helps if your ISP throttles torrent traffic and the like. I won't say anything further though. :-$ You know you're only using that to download stuff, right? If you're downloading TV shows than that is illegal. Not like I think it really matters (considering I have a ton of illegal software on here :/) But I thought you should know just in case. Torrents are quite safe though, although certainly not foolproof. Be sure to read the comments under the download to see if it is a good quality, trusted, ect.

I was asking, there is no need to act like PvP is all superior. Some people (I, for one) like PvE, no one coming to kill you while you're trying to do your quests or daily grind, I want to focus on end-game stuff, leveling my character and getting items. Call them carebare servers all you want, it's like me calling PvP servers wanabe-pro servers, cause that's all I see from PvP players, if you don't play PvP you're a girl. It's a load of crap. I don't mind PvP zones at all (Like the core WAR servers, hell, I had fun with that) but PvP-everywhere is not for everyone, no matter how much you PvP obsessed people wish to think so. My point is if you've spent even 5 minutes looking at the game you'd realize that it isn't another item grind like WoW, EQ2 or even WAR and AoC. There isn't a focus on an "end game" as you put it and there is certainly not a focus on getting rare loot, nor is there a focus on simply hiding 10, 25, 40 or whatever number of people in an instance fighting dragons. Again the best example (if this game does well) to compare to is Ultima Online. Most MMORPG's base themselves off of Everquest, this one does not. Thus it is not the same kind of experience as these other MMOs. Don't take this as me trying to hype the game, I'm not. I'm still crazy skeptical about the entire ordeal and will only wait until it's actually released to say anything.

My rogue Pre TBC in raids would put out 1300-1400 DPS so I thought it was odd to see such a low number otherwise. Like I said I've been getting around 1.1k currently @ 72/73 and thats even without doing a ton of AoE.

It's a PvP game Vidi, no there won't be Carebear...err PvE Servers. If you want to PvE you need to take the dangers of PvP with it. I'm still waiting to see if this flops or not. Whatever. I keep forgetting about it.

And please, if it's your first time in a dungeon tell them you would be better off as DPS. Nothing worse than a new (or bad) player trying to heal or tank and failing horribly. 72 1/2 right now, kind of leveling slow. Sped through 1-70 and now it's gotten a lot slower. :P Also I read an article on WoWInsider.com about minimum heroics gear/DPS. A guy suggested around 1.8k-2k minimum for heroic DPS @ 80, that sound about right? I mean, I'm putting out 1100DPS right now in my questing greens and blues so I don't think I have anything to worry about :P. Or we can leave the player up to decide that. People play this game for varying number of reasons. I, for one, hate the "hide and seek" type of gameplay WoW quests generally offer -- and a mod such as questHelper is great. I've said it time and time again but making people go hide and seek for mobs is an out dated mechanic which has been done away with in more recent MMORPG's. And when you look at it, your character owns a map. A majority of quests the quest giver KNOWS where the monsters are. There was no reason they couldn't point it out on your "map" for you, from a pure RP perspective. Other addons though, I won't really say anything. I love addons, I love how my game looks with them. To be frank I couldn't play the game without something like Pitbull (Basic unit frames such [wagon]), Bartender (basic hotbar is HUGE and sucks, too spread out!) and the rest of my addons.

I've been playing with bots mostly. Pretty bad online atm. :P yeah im not too good online either, i just added a whole lot of mods to make offline way better Any links man? I'd love to get some custom maps and stuff at least, half way so I don't have to download them online. I was 4th on the server I was on last night for a bit, then got destroyed and moved back to 7th :(

Gold rush has different gameplay modes which, in turn, are separate maps. A lot of maps are like this.

That's great and all OnIIx, except were looking at what I assume is an average user here. I don't think he's going down the "Tri SLI" route or even SLI period. A 550W-600W PSU is more than enough for anything he wants to do, including overclocking.
