Actually, I was thinking of bluegrass. Country is awful except for Johnny Cash. Heh I always thought bluegrass was like a sub-genre of Country or something. And I'd have to agree that, at least what I've heard, Johnny Cash is good. I haven't been able to find anything past that.

Not true in the least. I am just one example of someone not brought up with an actual belief system. At 9 years old, I was told that I can find my own path, rather than be forced into a path set by either parent. I found my own path, through trial and error. I studied, tried different things, and realized that I didn't need a preset path. I guess the point I'm making is don't make assumptions. I've known a good number of people who were raised to find their own way, so don't generalize and say all kids are forced into a religion. I think the point though is that most people, at least that I have known, were brought up believing in whatever Religion the parents followed. Of course this can't be applied to everyone, but I'd say it's a fair statement to make.

I've heard it's possible to at least do vocals/guitar at once, lol. I may end up getting this considering how much me and my roomate played GH3. Could have one of us doing drums and the other guitar/vocals, hehe.

I'd say this is the exact reason why so many people find Pink Floyd overrated.

@urbest: At least as far as "Tim McGraw" goes I'm looking to get away from that. And I have a feeling this will just be a bunch of people posting about genres they are oblivious to. Like I said before, I don't really listen to much rap (I loved Saga Francis's Makeshift Patriot) but that doesn't mean the genre is bad, nor does it mean that it takes less skill.

http://www.blizzard.com What do you guys think it's for? WoTLK? Perhaps Diablo III? Or what about some new starcraft thing? Or, a new game entirely? From what I have gathered from various sites there are 4 "runes" around the splash image. One is from WoW (Frostmourne), one is from Diablo II (Hel rune or something) and one is from Starcraft. However, the 4th one is some sort of universe which no one is really sure what it is from. The diablo fanboy in me is really hoping it is Diablo III, and if you look around the net there is some pretty damn good evidence to it. Either way Blizzard is certainly the king of creating hype, and this has me excited for the announcement this Saturday at WWI.

The problem as well is that a lot of players seem to expect that their class should be exactly as they envisioned it, not even giving it a chance. The second problem is that many players still have a very WoW-like mentality to PvP. This isn't meant as an insult rather then the idea that potions are taboo in PvP and the idea that most encounters are going to come down to which class vs which it is. The thing is is that, with the exception of some matchups, most fights are fairly even. I don't claim that class balance is perfect, because no of course it isn't. Conq's are pretty weak in PvP -- their only role right now it seems is to act as a sort of "battle res bot" in pvp. However I still did strikingly decent on my conq in pvp (300K 200D) with my only problem being that I couldn't do any damage. The other thing is that personal skill does come into play quite a bit. I've seen sin's that have not been able to DENT my HP. Hell, I've 1v2ed a sin and some other guy (conq or something) at level 45 pretty easily. However there was one sin around that area that I just couldn't kill. He would burst the [bleep] out of me before I knew what to do. It really all comes down to if you're a good player or not. Biggest thing to remember? The game has been out for a month, and Funcom has already done numerous balance changes to both the necro class and demontologist. ---- On a patch related note the new patch seems interesting. It seems as I was right before as they nerfed active blocking, which makes sense because it was pretty OP. I'll have to test it when I get home though to see if it's still worthwhile to use. Oh and I'm afraid of necros now after their buffs, definitely put them on the top ring. I hope to see similar buffs as well to other classes that are doing poor. Here's to hoping for some sin and conq buffs.

You aren't looking into it hard enough. I don't claim to really be a fan of rap, but I don't think it's a horrible genre. What would you recommend? I hate the modern stuff that plays a lot just because it's so damn stupid. I think some of the more talented earlier artists I could get into though.

It's 2x 8800GT vs 2x 9600GT right? The 8800GT is currently more powerful than the 9600GT, where as I find the 9600GT a better deal price wise. However right now the 4850 from ATI beats the 8800GT/9600GT out of the water for $ per performance. ps: $1,700 is pretty overpriced for that, I could build the same machine for $900-$1,000.

I think the AoC Vault is a pretty good one, but then again I haven't even bothered to use a fansite for conan. :P .

I've actually only seen one EP of 12oz Mouse, I should really look for more of it sometime. They need to be watched in order. I think they actually released a DVD where all the episodes are merged into a sort of movie. Yeah, I think I'll look into it. If I remember it was the first EP I saw and it was pretty funny, didn't really pay attention though. Frisky Dingo is kind of the same way as well, that is, it needs to be watched in order for some of the jokes to make sense. You know, I think I watched an EP or two of that, it was so stupid. Is that the show where like the kid is a pope or some [cabbage]?
