  1. PC, absolutely no contest. No other console or platform in the world has 25+ or so years worth of material for it, and no other console in the world is more advanced.
  2. Can't you just make the welcome text a table background? Should probably split it up into tables anyways.
  3. I'm in, kinda bored ;p.

When I lived in Kentucky we had one, really [bleep]ing good food there (and good milkshakes). Sadly I haven't seen another in a while. @Rush: I don't really like chilli's, IMO TGI Fridays is better.
  5. Yeah, look at the sources on wikipedia, not the page its self. Anyways I don't really see the need for this drink, but oh well. :P
  6. Man, that reminds me: Do any of you guys remember the soda Surge? God, it was like Mountain Dew hyped up on speed -- so good. :P I remember it just sort of disappeared, probably lawsuits haha. Nice :D. I had a ton of DOS game collections on a few different CD's. Was back when CD's were the next big thing, so I had thousands of "shareware" DOS games.
  7. I like where this is going. @ badphooey: idk, the guy is a bit more cute looking than menacing . :P
  8. Man, I thought you were at least 19 or 20.
  9. That's an incredible song, thanks for sharing.
  10. I still think that WoW as an e-sport is kind of lame. The one thing that it does have going for it is that, as Jaziek said, it is very watchable. However balance is another thing entirely.
  11. @ Suiblade: I disagree with Pink Floyd being over-rated. Sure, not all their albums are gold like some would like to think but they have some very quality early material.
  12. Extra functionality is always nice though. You don't "need" it, but its cool to have. Of course, I love technology so all the cool little things a new phone can do are nice. I actually got a new phone this past week for $50. Been using my current for over 2 years and felt it was time for an upgrade.
  13. Hah yeah, that was it. I remember the first 10 or so books being great and then I just stopped paying attention to them. Part of it was that to my childhood mind turning into an animal was freaking cool. :geek:
  14. Yeah man, my school went through a Pogs / yo-yo phase as well. Also got to participate in that whole pokemon cards phase. Why is it that all the trendy phases were so damn expensive? I remember having a tons of Pogs, yo-yo's and pokemon cards..wonder where they all are -- hah. And goosebumps was a good book series as well, I enjoyed them. :P There was another book series too, about those kids that could turn into animals -- I loved those when I was in like 5th/6th grade. I forget what its called though. :wall: ^ This too. :P
  15. Sorry, but this is like asking if you cold play an XBOX360 game on a PS3. :P I assume that your parents have blocked java? If so my only advice is to get your own computer, not going to help with bypassing any blocks (as this is not the place to discuss that).
  16. An idea I had that I went with. Pretty simple overall, but I really was happy with the result. Make of it what you will. :) v1: v2: stock used: (1) (2)
  17. Ok, great choice.
  18. The 9600GT or the 8500? Don't even bother with the 8000 series unless its 8600GT 512mb or an 8800GT.
  19. So, I'm looking for a new avatar. I love my current but, honestly, it is getting old. What I'm looking for is an avatar based off of Age of Conan's spellweaving system, which I have a picture of: Now, ignoring the +61's this is kind of the idea of what I want, just in a more stylized form. It doesn't have to be at this exact angle, and it doesn't really have to be at that location either. I just want all of the effects of the spell ( guy on the alter, pillars all around, lightning shooting from them into the sky). I'm looking for the avatar to keep the conan style, however. I don't want it to be bright and cheerful ;) I do want it to be the max size possible, which I believe is 100x100 here. I guess that for the person who wins, if they want, I can make a sig for them or something like that.
  20. Yet, you slammed the game for being "too hard" on god mode. I'm not saying the score is or isn't justified, I haven't played the game. However the review is really poorly written.
  21. because the wii is one big gimmick yes and so is the ds and yes I own one but its for car journeys/actually has descent games. But point is SSB has gone down hill since the first. Then why is it the fastest selling Nintendo game ever... The same reasons WoW is the #1 selling MMO. Seriously though SSB is a fine game (well, I haven't played brawl.. I've played melee) but the series certainly is not the best game series of all times nor the best fighting series of all time. It's a fun fighting game to play with friends but I'd never play it competitively.
  22. Yeah man, 90's Nick TV was awesome. I feel sorry for kids today, I really do. I was born in '88 and some of my best memories of course involve all the great games back then. It was a pretty different industry, because creating a game was incredibly cheap (get a couple of nerds with a PC) so many unique games were created. Of course, a lot of turds as well -- but yeah. [hide=DOS Games] Alien Carnage. <3 Blake Stone. Really under-rated FPS for its time. Dark Forces, of course. Descent. Sorry about the small image, but it was the first to really make me dizzy -- so much fun. Duke 3D, no explanation needed. Commander Keen was incredible, one of the best DOS side scrollers. Cosmos  . Not sure if anyone remembers this game, I used to play it all the time as a kid. Dark ages. Duke Nukem II, hell yes. He kicked [wagon] before he was 3D. Jazz Jackrabbit.. never knew what happened to that series, just died off. Jill of the Jungle, man almost forgot about this one. Monster Bash. Ken's Laboratory. I left off some of the well-known DOS games like Doom and Quake[/hide] I could go on for ages as well reminiscing about my old NES and such as well, but DOS was what really introduced me into gaming.
  23. Nice typo  Also does that Physics card even help at all? Last time I checked it supported, like, 5 games.
  24. If it's like any other laptop you should just have to buy a new one from your manufacturer and then just pop the broken one out and put the new one in.
  25. Newegg had a sale last week, 750Gb 7200RPM hard drive for $100  . Too bad I didn't have any cash to take up the offer.
