I did it today with a lurker. Do not have 66 thieving, thing I had 62. Also got Temple done, curses ftw.

What is the proc rate on the deflect prayers?

Mostly I do dungeoneer and slayer right now. Was thinking of quickly tossing a few dragon bones at my prayer for deflect melee and using curses. Was wondering if this is a good idea. I loose all my stat boosting prayers but I get a recoil effect on my protection prayers.

Java was up to date. Got the update for my video card. I'll post back here if the problem persists.

Was dragged to a mall today. Figured I would just kill time in stores that I like. Every single store was a clothing store. There were like two that didn't sell clothing and they didn't kill nearly enough time for the people who I was there with to be done. Seriously, I don't get the appeal of paying a ton for clothes. Been shopping at the goodwill for years, for the cost of one of your high-profit-margin-shirts I can get two or three full outfits. I get that there's an "elite" who feels pride in buying stuff with a higher price tag, but man. There were literally 20 of these things. It killed me inside when I went to a store that I remembered as a D&D/magic/etc shop from a few years back, and it was replaced by a store that sold shirts with sports teams on it. It would be one thing if the culture promoted uniformity, but the culture says it promotes individuality. Then you get to pick from like three little cliques to be an "individual" in. Meanwhile, the actual individuals, the ones who like runescape, sociology, and being cheap, get mocked. I guess I just hate the way people as a whole seem to do one thing and say another culturally.

It drops combat and gives you time to regroup. Also, annoys the hell out of pursuers.

I would like some advice on how to effectively dungeoneer. I normally pick up everything on the table and make some gate teleport runes asap. Then I go and kill the first room or so with my bound weapon. I use whatever drops or is in the room to fashion some armor. When I get the mats to make a BOB, I tele to the start, make one, and gate back. Before bosses I often have to farm and make some prayer potions. I was wondering if it would be better to just power through more of the dungeon instead of making low class armor at the start. Any other advice on how I can refine my technique is more than welcome as well.

Ancients are actually my easiest opponents in SC assuming one on one. I just hide in a cloud and wait. When they come near I pickpocket them and run back to my cloud and repeat. Takes away their main weapon and I often get a ton of points for the 1k runes they made. One itemers who use the blow-up-everything-on-death prayer and constantly run in and destroy barriers are far more annoying imo. Mostly because killing them isn't enough!

I'm using a Gateway DX4300 with an AMD Penom II x4 810 prcessor 2.60 GHz. 8 GB RAM. And an ATI Radeon video card and 1gig of integrated video memory. My connection has never given me trouble. I use DSL and am able to play wow with about a 100ms latency. However I have a problem, when I go into dungeoneering levels on runescape I will occasionally get a "loading" message for a split second and then my RS screen goes black. Only the dungeoneering levels, never had this on slayer, or skilling, or the GE. But I get it every other dungeon, and multiple times per medium/large dungeon. This makes it nigh impossible to level the skill solo, so I am quite frustrated. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if so how they fixed it.

Killing jad gives you a ton of tokkul, if you can get good at it you'd probably make a ton.

Funny, I've been playing wow and dungeoneering is what brought me back to RS. Protip: If you don't like dungeoneering, wait til you start grinding heroic five mans in wow!

I've been away from the game for nearly two years and really only came back because I wanted to try dungeoneering. (Dumb name, fun skill.) I wanted to get all my professions to about 70 for more general utility in the dungeons. I don't remember what the popular training methods for alot of skills are, and I'd bet they are outdated even if I did know. My skills at the moment are: Attack: 85 Strength: 85 Defense: 88 Ranging: 80 Prayer: 70 Magic: 85 Runecrafting: 60 Construction: 57 (irrelevant though, has no real use in dungeoneering and my house already has most of the good stuff.) Hitpoints: 99 Agility: 70 Herblore: 55 Thieving: 60 Crafting: 62 Fletching: 99 Slayer: 77 Hunter: 68 Mining: 61 Smithing: 55 Fishing: 99 Cooking: 67 Firemaking: 53 Woodcutting: 66 Farming: 66 Summoning: 68 I like a middle of the road approach when it comes to cost and xp per hour. I can spend a bit, but I'd be willing to sacrifice some xpph to gain money or cut losses. As long as its not to extreme one way or the other.

It's pretty much the same. If raiding @ 80 doesn't interest you then this really isn't a game to bother with. Yea, No its not. Level 80 is easysauce. Most guilds can walk a dude in greens through naxx. I had my mage in 4pt7 after like 3 weeks.

extra 5 seconds adds up when you're doing 99 million runs or whatever.

Uh, no. DPP is heavily speed based, especially ubers. straight 252/252/4 spread is the best on darkrai.

Talk on the phone for hours with schoolmates and you have an active social life. Raid naxx with some schoolmates on WoW and you're a fat menace to society with no ambition or motivation.

Protip: filling a team with gimmicks and underpowered pokes isn't going to get you far in OU. I reccomend you go download shoddy battle and check out smogon.

Just did [For the Horde!]. Pretty easy as long as your raid isnt dumb. doing it at midnight probably helped too. Black war bear is pretty cool but I still like my grand war mammoth for the nifty fall/dismount immunities.
