RS has labeled them both as "Level 58". So, I was under the assumption that in a functional system this would mean near equal power. The thing is that the defense they trained does nothing but raise their combat level up until 45 and 70, and thats only if they want to risk taking in a bunch of extra cash to loose. No, it's not fair that his combat level is not an accurate representation to his actual power. I don't really see the need to argue my point though, PKing is no more.

Assuming they are both equal levels, in an ideal system they would have the same chance of winning or the outcome would be based on the "combat triangle". Face it, leveling in RS is a joke. The system is ineffective and unfair in so many ways that it's not even funny.

Good, change the system to base combat levels on XP and I will be very happy. The system is currently based on averaging skill levels though, It's broken.

Well, In RS there are no raids and you can buy your tier armors off the GE... How many people with a barrows set got it themselves? =/

(I didn't read the thread, to long) I don't believe there is a god. I see to much evidence of theories that contradict what the bible (A book that has been warped and twisted so much that no one knows what it originally said) says. I have been given no logical reasoning as to why god exists or why he does what he does. It's always the same crap about "Have faith". If god where real and cared about me believing in him, he would use his god powers to teleport in here and say "Screw you robert! I am real bee-otch!" Then he would turn all my bathwater into wine therefore leaving me a drunk purple man. Honestly, I see so much harm caused by religion and so little good it has brought... I'm not just anti-god, I'm anti-religion.

Try dropping the silverlight also.

About 4-5 hours if you use the dragonstone method. You can get about 120 points per hour in Alchemy and Graveyard. 110 (if you're good) at telekinetic. If you use a high leveled spell on dragonstones you can gain over 2500 enchantment points in an hour.

Erm, hitting 30 on a guy who's max is about 15 and is the same level as you is not fair at all in any way. Period. It is broken and anyone who cannot see that is blind. No, finding combos and experimenting is fine. Hitting double of a person equal leveled to you is not fine. Two equal leveled players in pretty much every other game made have an equal chance of winning and the outcome depends more on skill. In RS the pure beats the normal player always.

Hey! Thats me! I also lost teleblock. It was a necessary sacrifice though. I think that combating RWT is worth pissing off this many people. It could have been done better, yes. I am very sure that these flaws will be fixed in time though. Heh, I still like it. It makes sense to me. If the majority of people are affected in a good way, then the minority of people who got harmed shouldn't matter. If that makes me a communist, so be it. Off Topic- Wow. All that at 58 combat? TBH- Without yew longs, it'll be tough getting mage up before you can cast onyx enchant. Try alching green dhide bodies, but it's impossible to get those in large numbers. @Bongo_Man: LOL, the thing with the mind runes made me laugh. 2 days you say? :lol:

Most of that was a blind assumption about me and most of those assumptions where wrong. I see nothing wrong with pking, and I understand why Pure Accounts are upset. I also have spoken out AGAINST people who say "It's just a game". I know BH is crap. However, that does not change my view about "What's good for the many, is good for the few" nor does it change my annoyance at all this ranting and rioting.

Using that logic, this game was never "Dangerous" because no one made you go anywhere...

(I'm respeccing for a felguard then) EDIT- I just stopped getting xp. I have no idea why. I'm level 20 and killing things in the 17-21 level range and I'm fully rested. I even tried turning in a quest but that gave me nothing but coins.

+99999 Why is it that PKers only think they matter? This update affected everyone in a good way except Pkers. What is good for the many, is good for the few. RS is not just about Pking.

Back with another question >_< I've been having a problem with my chat box. If I have a pet summoned, it's skill bar covers up the bottom two rows of text... it's really annoying. How can I move it like that guy did? [hide=image] [/hide]

Thats nothing. Imagine a lv3 with 2 puzzle boxes and getting a rune plate.
