Irons leave everything up to chance, if I go without a dragon drop for to long I go broke on pots. Black Dragons are a steady 5k a kill. (About 3k if I use the bones myself). Plus they are afkable. I knew someone would mention irons, but I just don't like them. =/

Revenants are worse than pkers imo. Not only can the low leveled ones freeze you, but they hit insanely hard. At least some pkers won't kill you if you don't have items, but revenants are just flat out ruthless and merciless.

I've been doing black dragons for a bit. They are higher leveled dragons so I figured they have a higher drop rate. Plus they are close to a bank and have some great 100% drops. Am I right about this? Or is there something better?

You have OBVIOUSLY never met one of these things. They are a bigger threat than PKers were. At least there are some honorable pkers, these ghosts kill you even if you are just killing dragons or RCing. Ruthless. They can TB, Freeze, Poison, and hit hard. Not easy.

The best way is to send a message to Jagex with a suggestion. I have seen no one give a way to keep old pking AND stop rwt. It's always "We don't care about bots! gimme teh pk!!!". Well, you don't like it when skillers say "We don't care about pking, at least I can cut wood" so don't flip it around.

Heres one thing I don't get: If I kill someone in bounty hunter, do I get all of their items or just 3ks worth?

Good logic but not strictly true. Sara requires 70 agilty and Armadyl 70 range. Both not common 70's. Actually, Armadyl is high for multiple reasons. 1) People want that sword more than any other. 2) The boss needs very high range and defense to kill, most people with high range are pures and most people with high def aren't big rangers. From what I hear, Saradomin isn't as hard to kill and the only reason the price is high is because 70 agility is rare. Plus the sword is very in-demand.

I did dragon slayer with a DDS. Tbh, I had no idea that was odd until just now.

couldn't you use PC to level hp without other stats? You need 40 cb but a low level with a HP cape is still really impressive.

Nothing will ever restore it unfortunately. The only thing we can do is adapt, which will be hard.

my max was a double 24 (48) Dragon Halberd spec. It was on a Black Dragon so, needless to say, I was happy.

Hit him with a spell or range and he'll put on range/mage protect. Hit him with your mace spec then.

Duel Arena was made f2p so they can still enjoy 1vs1 fights. Keep in mind that revenants will tear apart almost all f2pers.

Bounty Hunter has obviously changed since I did it on the release... I'm also starting to see other effect of PKings change and how important those people were to the economy and skillers. I'm not rioting, I'm not complaining, But I have a bad feeling about this... This thread is no longer an accurate representation of how I feel. I'm so sorry of how short sighted I was. I feel like an idiot.

Welcome to the depression. It's where the last 2 months have left us pretty much. Like it or not PKers, stakers, and merchants were important parts of our little economy. I forsee things like cooking to become huge money pits with no one buying cooked sharks.

I'm really sad to hear that... You were one of the first friends I had on RS. I know, you were fun to help. :P Well enjoy your game... I can't any longer. I was able to separate myself from the people this update hurt... not anymore though... I think this update is going to start affecting all players sooner or later... Even non-pkers... I never really thought to much about people who really liked pking, I was too busy remembering the pkers who are just plain mean... I'm sorry if my rant offended anyone, I'm starting to see why this is such a big deal.
