green dragon slayering will become more profitable and safer (?). Not sure bout the last thing. Those revenants can be quite deadly. But I think, as soon as people know more about it, you will be able to use some "counter tricks" to avoid/escape them.

Runecrafting is INCREDIBLY dull and time consuming. Trust me. I know. I have lvl 50 runecrafting. And the god sword hilts? They're 100 mil and up (sorry, don't know their current prices) because they're so common. And have you fought one of those bosses? I haven't. And stop bashing PK'ers, they are NOT as bad as people tend to suggest.

Same way i always did. Never did any of those things you listed. So i'll stick to Aviansese, Barrows, and Slayer.

There will always be lowlifes and cheats, afterall that's what human nature is.

Before, merchants and stakers could make large amounts of money in a short time, and they were able to buy all sorts of expensive things. But now, if everybody is struggling to make money, the expensive items won't sell at their current price, their price will have to drop to meet the new value of the money, and be accesible to players. This is a good thing for people that did not stake nor merchant before.

Well Highlander, that would happen in our normal economy, but when JaGEx is controlling it with the GE, it may not.

 

Then again, they probably hate rares so, it will happen.

Pking isn't dead its just a team thing now.......how many people solo'd in the wildy? 10% of all pkers maybe(I mean as in a % of people pking at any given time not that only 10% ever soloed).

 

Merchanting isn't dead but prolly will be if the trade change goes through.

 

Duel tourneys are more fun and less abusable than the old system.

 

BOSS hunting needs a revamped lootshare to work properly, although if you go boss killing consistently in a team it should work O.K(lootshare makes it more likely that someone will get a drop if they haven't had one I believe).

 

 

 

Runecrafting Nature Runes is still excellent money, Certain slayer monsters are a good sources of money (Spiritual Mages, Abherrant Specters etc..).

 

 

 

I guess it depends on your idea of huge, I've never had lots of money so to me 200k an hour is huge and achievable in a few ways (I've only ever dueled for fun, I PK for fun and am useless at it and I don't really merchant so I've never been able to get say 1mil gp in ten minutes).

On most items, yes deflation will occur. However, on DK items and GWD items, the price may shoot way up, because very few people will return there after trading is kiboshed. No one wants to go with a team, knowing they won't get a share of the drop if they don't get it themselves.

All of the rediculous, [broken] ways of making money are gone. Which is good for the game. If you work hard, you'll make money, and it's as simple as that. With the GE, the market has gained increasing fluidity, as 90% of items will move instantly. Granted, there's no ways to make a mil an hour, but many ways still remain. Slayer seems like a huge, untapped potential market considering the drops. Also, dragon slaying is a decent alternative.

Nat prices have fallen, and are likely to drop further, because who wants 99 mage now you can't PK/Stake with it? Melee is cheaper to kill monsters with.

 

 

 

Visage and Godsword are decreasing in price, they were staking weapons/shield.

 

 

 

The only decent suggestion is the Slayer Monsters; but of course a whip now and again won't help much, especially with its drop in price, and a dark bow is really better used as firewood.

Chinchompas Prices have dropped alot. WHo wants 99 range now that you can't use it for PK/staking. Melee is simply cheaper to kill monsters with.

Barrows lowered in price-mainly staking and Pking uses.

 

 

 

Impetuous impulses, dragon arrows and darts-very hard to sell. Low price anyway.

 

 

 

Wcing- have yew prices raised? this could be the only hope i see.

 

 

 

Sharks- prices dropped

 

 

 

Coal-prices dropped.

 

 

 

rune-prices ROCKETED (but not easy to get).

 

 

 

iron prices dropped.

Seems that players who work hard and put the hours in are the ones that will benefit in the long run.

 

 

 

With bots removed from the game, items such as yew logs, magic logs, pure essence etc... will begin rising in price once again, making it a worthwhile persuit for genuine players.

True; but i have put in the hard work and hours, although for the wrong skills (by pure luck). Mage, hunter, fletch, rc, crafting and other of my best skills haven't benefited from this.

 

ONly gathering skills like mining and wcing have got better cos of less autos. So that puts me in the trash because of what skills i chose.

 

 

 

Anyway, ore prices are still low except for rune which has rocketed because of how hard it is to get now.

Monster hunting isn't dead, it's just the latest "crazed" monster was one you had to fight in groups, or nearly had to (GWD bosses). It's still possible to kill KQ, iron/steel/mith dragons, KBD, giant mole and I've even seen DK's soloed (I admit I'm yet to try DKs). Just because getting GS drops doesn't mean the whole section of monster hunting has been eliminated. In any case, I imagine GS prices are due to drop very soon if not already, think about it. GS's were used mainly in PK/duel arena, they're ability to train isn't as amazing as it may seem, maybe better then a whip, but what's an extra 5k exp per hour when your both sacrificing a shield for defence and possibly over 100M? The main factor that will be fueling their price now in my opinion is the "cool" factor. Everyone likes high hits, it's fun to go around one shot killing whatever you like, even if it's not efficient. Just look at dharoks when it's used without prayer to make it efficient over things like obby weapons with berserk neckies.

Because I've never stood around typing to make money. There are many forms of merchanting... and not all are the crazy W2 merchanters who seem to have nothing better to do than stand in one spot all day.
