  1. Just a thought, the bit that is speculated to be Agility Arena (the pic near the Karamja Volcano) looks a lot like the mountains from Legend's Quest. Don't know if this conflicts with previous data, but it could be possible from what I've seen. EDIT: This one-- [hide=Underground Karamja Mountains (Agility Arena?)][/hide]
  2. Very lucky. This happened to me. Luckily, I was logged in at the time and was able to recover my account without the hackers ever getting on. I really hate scammers, but you seem to have come out far ahead.
  3. Mind you, this is simply a rough estimate, as I have little experience solo'ing most of these monsters. However, I can assure you that Corporeal Beast is by far the hardest to solo on that list, or any list for that matter. Also, Giant Mole and King Black Dragon are definitely the easiest. I was solo'ing Giant Mole at level 70, and KBD is a pushover. For the Dagannoth Kings, were you reffering to all of them at once, or only killing one?
  4. Coinshare > Lootshare  Unless you're going to have a ton of people in the clan, like 20+. Then LS might be a better option, because a hilt split would be < 1 mil.
  5. Be that as it may, a Slayer Helm is an absolute MUST for cannoning in the Smoky Dungeon, and I really don't think he has one if this is his first Spectres task. I realize that you can pray mage and have 1 hp the whole time, but if you make one mis-click and miss the prayer pot, *BAM* you're dead. It's really risky. If you're willing to take the risk of staying at 1 hp the entire time, go ahead and cannon in the Smoky Well. If not, I would wear full Proselyte, nosepeg, and the rest combat gear and pray Mage at the Slayer Tower. You get enough rannars to cover not only the Prayer Potion use, you can actually profit.
  6. Clue scrolls are completely random, however, some people say that killing Guards for a level two is a fairly fast way of having a chance at one.
  7. Does anybody have a good link to a guide for maging Dagganoth Rex? I've heard of it but never really known what to do.
  8. He's an ex-member which means his bank is stuffed far past the f2p limit, getting rid of 2 things wouldn't help. Right, sorry, didn't see that bit. Well, is there any way to recover your losses? TBH, I don't think the event is really worth losing that much money, but if you want to keep a perfect record...
  9. Armoured Zombies. It's right near an altar, so you can pray Chivalry/Piety which speeds things up dramatically, and you can also use Protect from Melee/Range if you need. If you do choose to protect, then every drop is pure profit. You could also use Guthans or a Bunyip and hardly need to eat at all, making the only costs repairs to Guthans/cost of pouches. The zombies actually drop some decent stuff: Noted planks, assorted runes, and charms. Pick all of those up and you will at least break even on supplies. Definitely the best choice.
  10. What items are they, and do you have two things in your bank you CAN get rid of to make space?
  11. How should I train it? I'm 1k off 69 now. I'd reccomend Yaks or Ogres in the training camp north of Ardougne. Either one would work, especially since you only need a level + 1k experience. Anyways, I'd recommend buying a Warrior's Ring. I find it far more useful than a ring of wealth. Possibly spend some on getting a skillcape for the bonuses? Unless you want your first 99 to be special. Other than that, I can't think of anything. I have 15M sitting in the bank for supplies for gwd, etc. Saving up for a good investment when it comes along.
  12. -20/10 for having a higher Strength level than Defense :x. When the noobs attack, those with 99 defence die last  8/10 for the Slayer level, I <3 Slayer. Get one more and go camp at Dusties, I got a d chain the other day ;) 10/10 for having a higher RC level than me.
  13. A year younger than me and prolly 25M richer... *makes note to self to stop standing randomly for hours on end whilst reading the forums* I go  at all the dragon left halves. 10/10.
  14. If you don't mind the walk, you could fish for Lobsters. I think the fastest place is somewhere in the wilderness (heard there was a Lobby fishing spot there near Bounty Hunter) but you run the risk of running into revenants. You could try Karamja, but the walk takes nearly 5 minutes there and back to Draynor bank, which reduces your profit. You could get your Mining and Crafting up and mine gold in the Crafting Guild, this brings in a lot of money for F2P. However, if you don't want to get your Magic up for Falador Teleport (think it's only a few levels above what you're at right now), this could be fairly slow.
  15. If you're going to be paying full attention, I'd go Fleshies. If you have the right combat level, they come straight to you and there's a safespot in the corner room (think it's Northeast corner). You can pick up arrows easily, and the Body Runes will give profit over a longer period of time. If you'll be semi-AFK, I'd go with lessers. They drop rune meds and there are a lot of safespots in the Karamja volcano.
  16. You just answered your own question  That's the best spot for P2P to mine gold, and it's pretty good income. I can't speak from experience but friends do it a lot. In F2P it's great profit if you use Craft Guild and Fally Tele. I'm currently aiming for that to be my main moneymaker on my pure.
  17. This has been bugging me for a while now. I know that burning a Pyre Ship with chewed (and mangled?) bones will give you a 300% boost to burying bones for an amount of bones, and leave behind a reward which may be a Dragon Full Helm. However, I have absolutely NO idea what other kinds of rewards are possible. The Tip.It info says "Barbarian potions, an amount of runes, and possibly a Dragon Full Helm", but I'd like to know more. If anybody has ever burned a pyre ship, could you please post here with the reward you got? It'd put my mind at rest  (I'm not exactly planning on going to Mithril Dragons anytime soon, this question has just been itching at the back of my mind for forever.)
  18. Alright, thanks everyone who replied so far. I'm leaning more towards using Duradel as my regular, he assigns better tasks than Sumona. Also, I think I'll block Black Demons (I really hate them, they take forever for me), Warped Terrorbirds (already have them blocked, I find them really annoying, though I've developed a pretty good method for killing them), Steel Dragons (Irons I can live with but Steels are far worse), and Scabarites (I've seen that on the majority of peoples' block lists. I might try a task to see how bad they are, but I'll probably end up blocking them). Keep posting, I might decide to change my list.
  19. To go in conjunction with Range training, do the Ardougne series (at least up to Biohazard). You get access to the Ogre camp, which is a great place to train Range. If you don't want to use money on ammo, do Soul Wars. As for quests, I would really recommend: Ardougne Series (up to Roving Elves, if you're a Ranger then the Crystal Bow is an invaluble tool) As A First Resort... (unlimited run pool, among others) Dorgeshuun Series (up to Death, Bone X-Bow is a fair Range training tool) Priest in Peril Death Plateau Temple of Ikov Animal Magnetism Throne of Miscellenia And, of course, Cold War, just for the fun ;)
  20. I couldn't tell you the equipment, but I've had friend who have gone. At your stats, I'd say that it would be possible, but hard. There would be a bit of luck involved. I'd reccomend getting at least 75-80 Defence and 80 Range. Again, I'm not speaking from experience, so my thoughts won't count as much as other peoples', but that's my opinion. If you're really good at Prayer swapping, you could probably do it right now, but for a higher guarantee, get those stats.
  21. Hi, yeah, it's me. I have a couple opinion questions that I'd like answered on Slayer. I have a long-term goal of 85 Slayer (and 99 Defence, but that's irrelevant here), and I need to know a few things on what YOU think. Stats are in my sig, thanks in advance to those who reply. 1) Should I use Sumona or Duradel? I really don't care about Slayer Points at this time, because the Slayer Helm seems kind of pointless to me. But that's just my opinion. I currently use Duradel for all of my tasks, but he's been annoying me with Black Demons lately. 2) Should I get a Slayer Helm now, or wait until I've figured out which tasks to block? Like I said before, I don't really care about getting a Helm right now, but I'd like your opinion on this one anyways. 3) Which tasks should I block? Fairly straightforward, everyone has their own opinion on this. Current Block List: -Black Demons (no point trying to make me change my mind, I HATE these.) -Steel Dragons -Greater Demons (very common, and I only ever range them since Wild Dogs are really annoying. Might un-block when I get 127 Combat, like that's ever gonna happen...) -Kalphites Cancel every time: -Skeletal Wyverns (don't enjoy these much, but they're fairly rare) -Warped Terrorbirds (speaks for itself...)
  22. 9/10 for the level (Get 99 nao... ;)) 9/10 for the MTK (It needed another Snap Seed) 10/10 for the bank (Anybody with more money than me gets 10/10... Which is basically everyone.) 50/10 for getting 99 Defence before 99 Strength/Attack (Def Nubs FTW!) Did you use Duradel or Sumona for the majority of the tasks?
  23. If only the Armoured Zombies area was in the wilderness... I think Earth Warriors would be your best bet. Still allows room for tele. If you really didn't care about dying, you could go to Magic Axes or summat.
  24. ^Quickest way without losing money. I'm not sure what you'd want to do if you had a ton of money to spend, but I'm sure there's quicker ways. Out of curiosity, why no SC hammers?
  25. 9 ducks out of 10 ducks for not using CS ;) But that's just me, cause if someone gets a drop and I don't get a split then I smash my computer into nothingness
