  1. I'm still working on getting the requirements for the Grandmaster. I have always respected it (mainly cause it's the one cape I've always wanted and actually had a chance of getting), and now I do so even more. Hopefully, once I earn mine back, I'll get a bit more respect too . 65 Farming and Herblore aren't exactly easy skills to obtain. Also, I haven't seen one person wearing a Quest Cape since the Grandmaster came out, as opposed to 1 out of every 10 people wearing one beforehand. And to all those people who say "Quest Cape is a noob cape," you have what, 100-150 QP's? Yeah. Thought so. Go do the Grandmaster and then come talk.
  2. Definitely: Priest in Peril- Eastern Lands unlocked. Lost City- Basic dragon weapons. Gnome Stronghold/Monkey Madness- Dragon Scimitar for training. Wolf Whistle/Druidic Ritual- Herblore and ummoning unlocked. As a First Resort- Access to all the useful pools and a good money-making technique (raw bird meat).
  3. HD ftw. Better graphics + larger range of vision = win. I've also always wanted to try two side-by-side screens. I do understand WHY people play in low detail, but I also feel that Hd is the much better option if your computer can handle it. Off-topic- hooray, 400 posts.
  4. Apparently the drop rate just went way down. Dang, why didn't I get that Zammy book back when pages were 200k a-piece :wall:
  5. Could that possibly be the Red Hot Chili Pipers? They're sort of a rock-bagpipe band, they're actually not that bad.

    Twilight.

So much for the actual Twilight discussion (Thank God ) I thought the latest Artemis Fowl book (Time Paradox) was a little weird. It brought time-traveling back into the mix from Lost Colony, but it seemed different. [hide=SPOILER ALERT]And then there was the random twist with Artemis thinking he gave his mother the disease, and Opal being all obsessed over the lemur, and *rambling*[/hide]
  7. kk can they be noted? Yes, they can. The name of the ogre is Bogrog by the way, you right-click "swap" on him, and select the pouch(es) that you want to turn into shards. You only get 70% of the shards you used though, so for Granite Crab pouches you'll get ~5 shards back per pouch.
  8. Hi. I keep seeing people casting a spell or doing an emote or SOMETHING and I haven't seen it before. Mostly, they're in the Grand Exchange, and they do it over and over, so I'm assuming it's a spell. The animation is something along the lines of the following: The player quickly brings his arms back, then pushes forward and slightly up as though he were attempting to push something away. I'm not sure if there's another part of it, as the extra parts of animation disappear in crowded areas. Any ideas?
  9. That's an effect of wearing a charged combat bracelet. It gives you updates on the number of monsters you have left in your task every 10 monsters.
  10. Most of the summoning examines are pretty good. Spirit Terrorbird: "A bird. Literally terrifying." Spirit Jelly: "On RuneScape, acid gets indigestion from YOU!"
  11. That happens to me, just X out then restart your internet browser. Not sure what actually causes it.

    Twilight.

I just went to see the movie a few hours ago. I didn't really want to, but my friends managed to drag me along anyways. I've only read the first quarter of the book, so I didn't know what to expect, but I did expect a bit more than this. From what my friends told me, more key elements from the book were left out than in any other movie. Also, the special effects were as lame as you can get. Simply fast-forwarding a scene to make it look like the vampires are running super-fast? No. On the plus side, I thought the acting was fair, apart from one scene in the hospital. Overall however, based on my thoughts and the people I went with, stick to the books.
  13. But ya still don't have a Quest Cape  Seriously, that's freaking insane. I don't even have the patience for ONE 99.
  14. You could also try level 45 Skeletons in the Temple of Ikov/Dragon Slayer dungeons.
  15. Yeah, earth runes with earth gloves from Fist of Guthix are better both xp- and profit-wise.
  16. Yaks to 50+ Ogres to 70+ Aviansies for cash or continue with ogres for xp.

    Money

    1. Go raise combat skills through Slayer. 2. Make money. 3. Spend money buying better items to train Slayer with. 4. Repeat.
  18. Smithing, it's basically iron ore with rings of forging, and you won't get THAT much profit. Really, the only good profit (that I know of) is unfinished mith bolts at the Blast Furnace. I'd reccomend mining Gold ore, selling that, then using the money to buy the ores for steel and selling the bars (or if you're P2P making cannonballs).
  19. I believe you mean 42. And no, there isn't. However, I think you can use stat boosters like Spicy Stew or Bandit's Brew to reach the level, somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
  20. Then I have a lot of agility training to look forward to Thanks.
  21. Simple question, and also probabaly a fairly dumb one  Can I get into the Saradomin Encampment using a Summer's Pie at level 65 Agility? I'm assuming the anwer is no, but I had to check.
  22. Definitely Druidic Ritual, Wolf Whistle (access to all skills), I'd also reccomend As a First Resort (once you get the right skills/levels) for access to the infinite-run pool among others. Monkey Madness for Dragon Scimitar (unless you're going to use a Sara Sword), Lost City for access to dds/Dragon Long, and RFD for the hawt gloves. I'm sure there are some I forgot (I've done too many quests lol) so someone is bound to correct me.
  23. Another QP Caper \ No, you're right, it's not TECHNICALLY a skillcape ( ) so other capes won't get trimmed.
  24. No lie, I once found a black mask, fury amulet, and warrior's ring on the ground north of camelot a looong time ago (it looked like somebody died from a wolf or something). I sold it all for like 7.2mil, then, me being an idiot, gave it all to my friend who told me he would "make me back 10x the money". :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
  25. Yeah, you just need to get to the point where you enter the dungeon. Although I would still reccomend finishing the quest ;)
