  1. Well, it's really up to you. If you range far more often than you melee and you don't mind spending the money on an Arma helm, go ahead and buy that. If you do both equally often, go for the Fury first.
  2. I think you can get him to unnote them. Your homeworld is the same as mine
  3. Fury first. Fury is good for all three aspects of the combat triangle, wheras Arma Helm really only applies to Ranging. Only get Arma helm if you go to Armadyl Godwars verrryyyy often.
  4. It's a whole lot better to smith mith bars and make them into bolts at the Blast Furnace.
  5. It's not necessarily a horrible weapon but it's only good for waterfiends (zammy spear works to) and training str so its probaly droping cuase more are getting in the game and less ppl use them. I've always thought that Dragon Scimitar + defender beat out Sara Sword anyday. Zammy Spear is considered the best Waterfiend weapon, and it's about 5m cheaper. So SS'es have always been obsolete in my eyes.
  6. All I know is that Aviansies are one heckofalot better than TzHaar for money. Not sure about XP, I think that TzHaar might win on that. They also have the advantage of being melee-able. But people earn at least 400k/hr at Aviansies, while TzHaar only have really rare drop chances (I've never gotten an item, and I imagine I've killed them for four hours total).
  7. The Sara Sword has always been a really horrible weapons, I'm surprised it didn't start dropping a long time ago. Anyways, if you want to buy it back, watch the GE graph and wait until it starts levelling out. There's a 90% chance that it will start rising again.
  8. Not sure about the drop rate (I'd hazard a guess at around 1/250?) but there are some safespots in the Slayer Dungeon that you can use. Along the "hallways" that leas from the Turoth room to Kurask room, and same with Turoth to Jelly room. And there's nothing particularly challenging about them at all.
  9. You need to purchase it to use the spell, but anybodyc an use the tabs. Which annoys me, because I did all that hard work getting the spell and then a month later the tabs were released...
  10. What should I attack them with? I have 50k steel knives atm. I was there with Black D'hide, a Zammy Coif, Accumulator, Bronze Knives, and a Holy Book. I also took Bunyips. since youc an't use Bunyips or Spinners, I'd just take a full inventory of Monkfish and bank every now and then. Using my Bunyips, I stayed for two hours and didn't even have to eat. Keep an eye on your health while reading the forums or something, and you should be fine.
  11. You can get better Range XP at Bandits. As for melee, definitely go with Armoured Zombies.
  12. I usually walk away from a Spectres task with upwards of 15 Blue Charms (average task of 175). They drop a ton of ranarrs as well, so you can pray and not only make up for the pots that you use, but also make some money to buy more pouches.
  13. more than 1 hour a day is an addict? jesus what am i then. :ohnoes: I was thinking the same thing :-k If charms are worthless to you, I wouldn't bother bursting Rock Lobs. Stick with stringing Amulets. Much better.
  14. Finally, somebody decides to merch one of the few things that most people can't play without. Sharks come next  I'd hold on to them for now. I'm looking at the GE graph right now and it doesn't look like they're gonna be stopping anytime soon.
  15. Same as the dagannoth mother from Horror from the Deep. Orange = melee attacks, Purple = Range Attack (?), White = Air spells, Red = Fire spells, Blue = Water spells, Green = Earth Spells (I think that's right). Just take about 20 casts of each kind of spell (the best youc an use) and a good melee weapon, and ignore the range section since you're fairly bad at that (no offense )
  16. Is that just cause you prefer not to camp? Just wondering, because Dusties are one of the best, if not THE best monsters to camp at in the entire game.
  17. If you want to train Summoning as well, then they are definitely the best. If you're focused only on combat skills, they're still good, but you could probably get better xp at Armoured Zombies or Ankous. I would still recommend them anyways, because if you plan to train Summoning in the future, Dusties drop loads of Crimson charms.
  18. Broad Bolts are far more effective. Steel knives won't hit enough to be better xp.
  19. The time that I found 7m worth of items on the ground, sold them all, then gave the money to my friend cause he said he could "triple it in a week". When I asked him about it a week later he said "Oh, uh... I... got scammed?" Funnily enough, I didn't figure it out until about a year later :wall:
  20. Honestly, I haven't been a big member of this community since I've been involved with clan stuff (but I plan to leave soon, my clan is a bunch of morons), but I've still noticed the higher levels of spam-posting as well. People are like that everywhere. RSOF, my clan forums, other fansite forums. It always happens sooner or later, and it's pretty much a natural part of forum life. Everything is great for a while, then one person comes in with his 1337sp33k1ng and influences a few others to join him in annoying the heck out of everyone in the community. Pretty soon, they get a whole mob of people to swarm and take over many of the forums (though I think Blogscape is, for the most part, safe). This causes many of the more mature players to leave just for the sake of getting away from this group of people. The only thing we can really do about it is try to convince those people in the group to stop spamming, insulting, and generally being useless and come over to the good side of the community. I still see the current greaters of Tip.It (Da_Latios, Master_Smither, Abyssal_Whip, and all those other really cool people) and look up to them. They're somewhat of an influence on my "Tipiting". Then I see the other people on the lower end of the ladder, those who go around insulting everyone they see and flaming for no apparent reason, and I realize that I never want to be like them.
  21. If I'm not mistaken, the Chaos Elemental destroys cannons. So you'd be holding your own after a few seconds. And I would say that you can't do that, sorry.
  22. That's my favorite Vista feature
  23. On an old account I have 85 mining, but this was before rev's and pking removal. So I'm not sure if it would still be the same. I think there are some guides on how to avoid revenants. You could try googling it, I don't have any links handy at the moment.
  24. I always use Warrior's when I melee simply because it's fairly inexpensive for a medium difference. I never understood the people who spent 4m on Ranger Boots just to squeeze out that little Ranged gain over snakeskin boots, and the same with a Robin. Warrior's Ring is less than 200k for a slight boost, which I personally find to be fairly cheap. However, Berserker Rings are 3m for the same slight boost, just in a different category. Maybe it's because I have found that total offense isn't everything that I prefer the attack/defence boost over the strength boost. And on a side-note, I always use Wealth when ranging.
