It's interesting, I should start training it again to see how crazy people can be.

I think there should be higher level revenants, no one should be completely safe in the wilderness. However, the revenants probably won't use summoning. Since the latest development dairy mentioned the possible strain that summoning can put on the servers, I don't think any NPC will ever summon. To avoid making the fight with revenants too easy, they may be able to "summon block" the players, though.

The updates on 10 Dec didn't affect me much, but I'm a bit worried about the trade restrictions in the coming month. I've never realized that I do so many "unbalanced" trades in a day before Jagex started to show them.

I'm not going to clear my ignore list for Christmas, those who end up there are ignored for good reasons blah blah blah. Oh wait, it's empty so never mind. \

I'm not going to prepare for it until the DDs give me better ideas about what the skill will use.

Sounds like a boring month for a non-pvp player like me. At least there's Christmas event, which is for everyone.

I'd give it a 5/10. The event is fun but it is too short and easy. The atmosphere inside the house is great, though. The rewards are just meh. I'd probably give this a 6 or 7 if there weren't the GC poll that spoiled it a few months before.

No, I don't want another GC poll, especially for holiday events. I used to love holiday events, the feeling of surprise has always made me happy. But this time there's absolutely no surprise and the event becomes boring. If the GC poll was an attempt to reduce the number of people ranting, it simply failed. People started ranting a few months before the update, how nice.

Let's see the pros and cons of this: Pro - a good reward for those who do quests - no need to mine your own p ess,which most people hate - ess price becomes more stable - it is a decent money drain Con - true players who mine (pure) ess will lose business - may not provide enough ess for rcers, thus the bots may still thrive Overall, I'd say this is a good idea, you should suggest this on the RSOF. :thumbsup:

I'm pretty sure they move the party hall to make room for the court in Seers'. But now NE Falador has something useful and the f2pers are happy, who am I to complain?

Exactly what I did when I was f2p, it's quite a long walk from Falador to that cave so I used it.

Since I don't trade ranged equipment that often, I can only say that the price will behave like that of the whip. The starting price will be insane, then gradually drop, but will still be tons higher than magic bow/rune arrows, solely because these new items can't be made by players.

I've never cried for anything in the game, but I was totally frustrated when I got my first big RC pouch, then lost connection and ended up in Falador.

Another issue is that you can be assigned a server which lags a lot for you, and you'll not be able to change it.

Maybe it's just me, but I think free players are still able to keep up with members in most non-combat skills, while the combat skill high scores are more and more members-only. Is Pest Control the reason?

The Lumbridge Guide was there when I started (November 05), and was the only guide out there at the time. He is not one of those noob tutors introduced last year.

I've thought of a few: A person with low strength can carry as much as a person with 99 strength. You can walk on fire without getting hurt. Running will use up your energy but mining/woodcutting will not.

The best advice I got from him is probably "Do not try to beg, ever!" And I think he's more useful than the tutors, even though he doesn't give you free stuff.

He's posting something that everyone should know. Judging by the amount of "hacked" accounts, an appalling number of players use weak passwords.
