  1. They're useful for pretty much any melee situation (except for slayer, of course).
  2. You should definitely get 85 dungeoneering while doing dailys and farm runs. Aside from that, you could go to TDs. That's how I paid for turmoil.
  3. The fact that you're going to get 88 DG for the maul means you should DEFINITELY get the rapier. Even if you were just gonna get one weapon, the rapier would still be the better option because it's the best all-around weapon (and you do a lot of different things). You'll eventually want to raise your melee stats (even if it's slowly), so the rapier would be best for doing that, too. Basically, the rapier is best for just about everyone.
  4. his named was pharnox or something like that his name started with phar :P he hate either a primal baxe or a 2h, along with the bow + shadow silk Too hard to say how it did on the bosses, I'm guessing it missed alot, and there weren't such massive hits that I could clearly tell which of the hits came from the hexhunter, and not the rest of us. sorry, that's all I remember It was probably Phar0nix. He used to hang out in my old home world (this was years ago). Someone should definitely get in contact with him to do some real testing.
  5. What other binds did the player have? Did you get his/her name? How did it fare against bosses? I'M SO CURIOUS! EDIT: Nevermind, you answered the first question.
  6. I was an avid Starcraft player when I was younger, and I bought it again last year to mess around with. I've been dying to play SC2 but, once again, I don't think my computer could handle it.
  7. Personally, I opt for 4 less strength and a little more prayer due to inventory constraints. However, I would pick the fire cape over the other two capes in situations where I could use a steel titan and/or cannon due to the speed of the task.
  8. erm....your 'calculations' are completely incorrect? Im sorry, but when a weapon has higher stats in every way than another weapon, it will kill faster. Its like killing a monster with a rune scimitar or a dragon scimitar: no matter what, the d scimmy will always perform better. Now, the performance to cost(or time) might be worse for the dragon than the rune, but the dragon WILL perform better, no matter what. The same applies with the cbows. Now, im unsure, but getting 'uber pro' at any anything normally means getting the best gear for the situation. If you 'pro bandosing', you arent gonna go in torags or dragon with a whip/dds, your gonna go with bandos, claws, and a chaotic weapon. Lol trolled. To the OP, not sure if I just misunderstood, but the chaotic crossbow does NOT hit higher than the rune crossbow. It's just more accurate.
  9. Finally read the articles. Article #1: I enjoyed the read. If I lived in London, I definitely would've gone. It sounds like it was a lot of fun. Article #2: Yet another "you don't play how I play, therefore urdoinitrong." I'm an efficient player. I have fun playing Runescape. If you can prove that having fun and being efficient cannot coexist, you'll have a point.
  10. Generally, yes, as you can get a high enough prayer bonus from your other gear to cover using turmoil.
  11. All of my best friends play LoL (I can't download it because my computer can't handle it), so I play it a lot when I'm over at their houses. It really is an amazingly fun game, but I know what you mean about teaming with randoms. It gets frustrating at times.
  12. Woodcutting got an update recently, fletch already has high level stuff and is sorta outdated as it is, theiving got plunder, mining recently got living rock caverns, and runecrafting got revamped not long ago with the chance of double runes at any level, and the zmi altar. I agree that smithing, farming and crafting are next on the chopping block though. But none of those things are high-level content. Woodcutting just got an easier way to train (for mid-level players), fletching does have high-level stuff, but it's just like smithing, pyramid plunder is just a way to train thieving (but you could argue that pickpocketing dwarf traders is high-level content), mining just got a new way to train (that stops at level 80 -- a lower level than mining rune), and runecrafting just got a change to mechanics, not new content. :(
  13. Yeah, I agree that they're getting the ball rolling when it comes to high-level updates. I really wish they'd do something with farming, though. It ends at 85, which is pretty silly.
  14. Sorry, let me clarify what I meant: I have no reason to believe something that hasn't been proven. I don't necessarily believe that TDs AREN'T weak to stab, but it hasn't been proven (only speculated), so I'm not going to just take his word for it.
  15. That's not how burden of proof works. If someone claims something to be true, they must provide proof to back their claim. Until they can prove it to be true, it's untrue. Thus, Sir Armadyl's claim is untrue until he provides proof (preferably something other than a few links that simply state his claim to be true rather than with EVIDENCE and TESTING). Do you know what Devil's Proof is? Basically, there's no evidence that they're not weak to stab and there's no evidence that they are, which makes it true until it is tested. It's like saying that light orbs carry electricity within wires - there's no proof that that's not true until you look it up or test it yourself, which mean both truths exist at the same time. But Burden of Proof is far more applicable in this case, as the argument is verifiable.
  16. omg I play CODMW2 too. I use my brother's account. TommTomm1219.

  18. That was sarcasm....correct? Why would it be sarcasm?
  19. Show me evidence they arent? Sorry, but when you claim something to be true, it's your job to prove it. Tormented Demons are weakest to earth spells. Prove me wrong.
  20. But getting to the high levels takes far, far longer in runescape than in say, WoW. You're right, which makes it even worse, because you get to the higher end of the spectrum and find out that you're still doing stuff that you did at level 50-80. It's sad, really.
  21. Fixed that for you.
  22. Umm, it is a very good idea. If more high level content is created, then more people will have a reason to keep playing to get to the high level content. This. The difference between Runescape and other MMOs is that Runescape is SATURATED with low-level content while offering very little high-level content.
  23. Agreed, fair point. Lol, well have fun arguing over a subjective concept (read: fun). It's an exercise in futility, but hey, it's your time, kid.
  24. Thanks for proving again why Runescape is a bad game. No skill involved. Simply clicking, knowledge, and efficiency. It's a glorified spreadsheet. Keep it coming kids! You're "arguments" amuse me. Go head to head with Taco Limey in deep wilderness, or maybe solo the Corporeal Beast. Let me know what happens, kid. ;)
