  1. All Soma does is Nex. :P
  2. That was so amusing to look through.
  3. Nice level. And I love your name. ;)
  4. do you mean the chaos dwarves at the battlefield? can i even safespot those? You have to be kind of carefull, but you can pray against the cannoneers and safespot the other dwarfs. Eventually they'll lose aggression and you can kill any of them effortlessly. Blue dragons are also easily safespotable, but have relatively high mage def but you won't lose very much. oh contrare my friend, blue dragons actually have a low mage defence even though they are a leather dragon. I had trouble hitting greens with ahrims+surge+stream+c staff lol. Have you ever tried maging blues? if not u should, they have lower mage defence than other leathers for some reason. I actually haven't, but that would seem incredibly odd. I dont know why but i started maging them from 85 to 90 mage just for the fun of it (and for the d bones) and i was hitting them fairly often. what spells/gear should i use at blue drags? i'll prolly be maging them at the membs dungeon once i get a few more agility levels :P I wore Ahrims Top/Bottom, Farseer helm, Glory, Staff of Light, Zamorak Cape (from Mage Arena), Infinity/Mystic Boots, Barrows Glves, Unholy book, Seers Ring. Im not sure what spell to use as i used water surge and still managed to break even on the hides/bones/drops. You should use an arc stream too. Agree'd, only reason i didnt use one at the time as dung hadnt been released yet. Just felt like adding to one of the longest quote chains I've ever seen. haha at this rate its going to be the never ending quote chain Can we just turn this into a quote chain thread? Just wanted to get my name on here... Lol i think this is the longest quote chain i've seen since i joined these forums :P Agreed. And just remembered that blue dragons are now swarmed with botters, so it might not be the best anymore. Yea i didnt realize they were that swarmed until i went down there earlier just for laughs. What's that? Longest quote chain ever? Challenge accepted! Contributing. OP, barrows w/ ice spells is profitable, albeit slow magic exp. EDIT: Fixed.
  5. When I tried f2p dungeoneering after losing p2p once, before I started the floor I was asked if I wanted to destroy my p2p binds. If you've already been in a floor, it's possible that they're gone.
  6. It's friday, friday, friday. And I'll be no-lifing tonight. I feel a second job is in my near future, which is why I haven't been playing much.
  7. lol you're at that point where you're just like "[bleep] it i'm buying everything"
  8. Corp and waterfiends (if you don't have a chaotic maul or sara sword).
  9. Yeah, bots don't bother me at all but 9/10 threads in general discussion are about bots so they annoy me indirectly.
  10. Th point was to say what bind are better for the team, not overall better. Sure, hex or neck are the best dps 3rd binds, but considering dgs already has ~10 hexes and ~12 necks, cele staves and rapiers would be very welcome as addition to the higher leveled teams(where there are already 2-3 hexes per team, sometimes even 4). Would it be possible/best (when you have a few who have ie staffs bound anda few who have hexes bound), that certain bosses are only done by a small group of players, those who are specialized against that boss. (IE: dreadnaught being done by the staff wielders, necrolord by the hexers) - and then the rest of the team continues doing the rest of the dung? We do this for Necrolord all the time - one hex solos while the rest of the team finishes the floor. Can be done for dread and flesh, too. And cursebearer, though that's pretty rare.
  11. I completely agree. OP, aviansies aren't great for money OR ranged exp, especially not with competition from bots.
  12. ILU and I'm sorry I wasn't there.
  13. ^ This is completely true. For example, I key for Mc90123/Trollgazer all the time who has like 300 total levels over me. Every ten seconds I have to say "ggs mike" so I'm considering blacklisting him till further notice. ;) It's something that keyers with low totals get used to, so it's not a huge deal, but you WILL slow floors down if you don't respond quickly enough. If you have a high total you need to learn to do every puzzle/skill room quickly and efficiently and you need to be much more attentive than usual. EDIT: Looking at your levels, you should also take initiative to collect prom ore, make emp fire staffs, farm, make altars, open chests, and make armor for hexers.
  14. You're never guaranteed to get the boss, but you're far more likely to at the level you unlock that boss. Rune wiki actually has a good list of bosses and their floors.
  15. This is correct. You'll notice it at skele trio, too, where they seemingly target one person, or the warrior will follow one person around the whole time. Some monsters have "meters," like skele mages. They'll attack each person equally. If you're the last to run into a room with a skele mage (assuming the rest of the team has been there for a little while), it'll immediately target you.
  16. I'm honestly worried about dungeoneering now. It's a good thing I've been too busy to play much 'Scape, or I might've been in w67 doing my last open warped floor.
  17. I don't know half of what you can do in a floor, so for you, I have no idea. ;) But for everyone else, arrows are completely useless without a hex. The only time you'd ever need arrows - for Necrolord - you can use a surgebox with a staff instead, and it's only very slightly worse than a grave short with fractite arrows (best arrows you can buy from the smuggler). A team with all arrow binds and no surgeboxes would be slowed down considerably by a few t11 warriors, not to mention dreadnaught and hope devourer.
  18. By 'combat mechanics' he means safespotting, sidestepping, use of trample mechanics, etc. Blood neck vs. sagittarian body as a fourth bind for a hexhunter is definitely debatable. IMO, keyers with hexes should bind a sagittarian body for sure, as they'll be using their hexes far more than their 2hs and keyers should consider armor anyway. Sagittarian bodies also offer a HUGE accuracy boost to the inaccurate hexhunter bow. For DPSers, a blood neck might be more useful as they'll be using melee around 60% of the time or more, and they're also free to make ranged armor whereas the keyer is not.
  19. With a blood necklace you have to be very conscious of where you position yourself in relation to monsters. Always lure melee monsters over to the ranged ones and position yourself so that the greatest number of monsters possible are near you. Then watch the 40's fly. And like Cheeesy said, the fastest way to aggro monsters is to take your hood off - but only in melee pray safe rooms or areas of the room.
  20. You pick up logs from drops or buy t1 logs from the smuggler in the beginning or when/if you go back to make runes/buy a tool kit. You can use any tier of log for any tier of dino - the trick has near 100% success rate regardless. You can fletch a trap while running or between 2h hits in a gd. You aggro a dino (best done with a hex), place a trap and STAND ON TOP OF THE TRAP. Do this while you're killing monsters in a gd and perform each action between 2h hits. While you're standing on the trap, the dino will automatically be caught after a few seconds. Skin it and make armor while you run/between 2h hits. With armor, hexes are more effective against mobs and bosses, and it's especially helpful to make armor for a keyer with a hex. It should also be done on Kal'Ger floors. Then you laugh while the other four people are busy buying/mining ore and taking forever to make it. At the very worst you'd have to buy proto hides, but crafting is still much faster.
  21. Fixed This. There's no reason to own a SGS and every reason to use d claws at barrows. I thought he was being sarcastic... Are claws actually useful for barrows? They're the best spec weapon for barrows. Use them on Ahrim and Karil with spec restores.

  23. Stuck as in, just superficially on other peoples friends list, or actually just standing there, getting killed, then standing in lumby some more type of stuck? The world have crashed, nothing is happening on them, the worlds can't even send a logout packet to let the other worlds know you're logged out so you still appear online. The games will be rolled back to the last save before the server crashed, not something done on purpose. With regards to dungeoneering binds being lost, fairly sure Jagex give those back if you lose them. Someone mentioned it here before, not sure how you'd go about contacting them (bug report maybe?) but I've heard that they do it. There've been multiple bind crashes now. They have yet to restore binds. If you lose your binds in a server crash, you're [bleep]ed. Fairly sure they gave people their binds back from when the servers went down a couple of weeks ago. No, they didn't. They do not restore binds.
