Oh, boy, do I have stories! Great single player, meh multi for me. Only played 1 online match, kinda fun, but not really. Story is not that great, but passable.

I don't think any single character is better than all others. You have to find your person. Like I'm good with Wolf, but absolutely suck with Snake, and Kent's awesome with Snake, lousy with Link, Mac (I think) does well with link, etc.

If you want an easier time in the military, go Air Force. Lowest PT standards of any branch. I think. The National Guard has the best enlistment package right now. I think it's something like $60-100,000 bonus, but you're guaranteed at least 1 tour in Iraq.

Granted you get your [simplify]Doom[/simplify] with a carton of cheesecake, and the peasants of the woodland hills taste sweetly of moist potatos, because the broccoli doesn't like hot pockets. Every choice cut of parsley is a handcrafted table of moldy socks and bean juice, whereas the butterlifts the chair on end and soaks it in boiling linoleum. A PC and an artichoke live happily together until the spoon arrives and cuts the Mac with tupperware. That is the doom, and your head explodes. I wish for an apple.

Only saw #1, but I rather enjoyed it. And the previews for it showed a massive mummy-on-mummy war, definitely a must-see.

Summer's been ok so far. Yesterday, a friend of mine I knew while I was in Italy (he still lives there, but different island) was in town yesterday, so we hung out for a while. Great catching up, I taught (or at least tried :P ) him how to use throwing knives, and spent about 10 minutes searching for one arrow after it accidentally flew over the fence and high into the woods. We were also in town, and happened upon a housing area under construction, and starting at $1.1 million. Craziness. He's just as sick and twisted as I am, and as we walked through the houses (they were almost finished and other people were there looking to buy) we were talking about where to store the bodies, where the armory would go, and mounting heads in picture windows and automated gun turrets in the bay windows :D Today I got a letter from school about ROTC Officer/Petty Officer Training in August, so that's what I've got to look forward to.
