  1. No.

Sometimes I get to talk all "proper" as I like to when I say no. Like when somebody asked me for test answers once, I said something like, "With my apologies, due to the nature of the assignment at hand and the importance of remaining silent throughout, I cannot accomodate your request." So I don't really have a problem with it.
  2. Diabetes is hereditery!!! *invites friends around for a "White stuff" partaaaay! You gotta love that sugar* I'll bet you do love the white stuff. Heart disease sort of runs in my dad's side, but I don't know if that's for reasons of genetics or big Midwestern salt-and-cholesterol filled diets. Also baldness and color-blindedness, but those seem to "skiP' generations and my dad has both. So I'm clean there at least for now, I suppose.
  3. That, or the first horseman will bring disease and plague to the Earth. Depends on who you talk to. Ace. Furthermore, I would like to see some evidence of this "galactic gravitational pole" idea.
  4. Oh, hey, it's Skully's birthday.

Oh good, I need to set my watch and alarm clock. I hadn't even noticed.
  6. Riveting. So did you, apparantly. Me? Dethklok and Mastodon. Hell yea. And I didn't have to put up with any trick or treaters.
  7. You can't observe anything without affecting it. But you can't affect history because it has already happened. Just like you can't influence a horror movie by yelling "Don't go behind that pile of dog crap!"
  8. You're the one making themselves look like an idiot by shortening every word to a syllable. Aaaaaaaand...there it goes! I try to avoid debating 'round these parts. I'm not very good at it, but I have my moments. Never been able to write huge posts with various supporting links mixed in, though.
  9. If you didn't know, the Mayans were the society that perfected the calendar that we use today to measure the years. But for some reason, they stopped writing it at 2012 which people assumed meant would mean the end of the earth. Maybe it stopped at 2012 because it was the end of the Mayans. Or the calendar guy said "[bleep] this noise, I can start it again once we get there."
  10. Motorhead- Dogs
  11. I want to quote this entire thread out of context. Especially Stilev. I've done it. Tasty. Along with cookies in soda/lemonade.
  12. When people refer to California as "Cali". No. Cali is a city in Columbia. I know you are not from Colombia.
  13. [spoiler=Kuh-razy probability]The idea that the universe is a product of chance requires belief in what scientists describe as many "lucky accidents" or "coincidences." For example, the universe is made up of an abundance of the simplest atoms—hydrogen and helium. Life, however, requires not only hydrogen but also an abundance of more complex atoms, especially carbon and oxygen. Scientists used to wonder where such precious atoms come from. Is it just a coincidence that the complex atoms necessary to sustain life are manufactured inside certain giant stars? And is it just by chance that some of these giant stars explode as supernovas, spewing out their treasure chest of rare atoms? Sir Fred Hoyle, who was involved in the making of these discoveries, said: "I do not believe that any scientist who examined the evidence would fail to draw the inference that the laws of nuclear physics have been deliberately designed." To avoid extremes of temperature, the earth must orbit at the correct distance from the sun. In other solar systems, planets have been detected that orbit sunlike stars and are considered to be in the 'habitable zone'—that is, they are capable of sustaining liquid water. But even these so-called habitable planets may still not be suitable for human life. They must also rotate at the right speed and be the right size. If the earth were slightly smaller and lighter than it is, the force of gravity would be weaker and much of the earth's precious atmosphere would have escaped into space. This can be seen in the case of the moon and the two planets Mercury and Mars. Being smaller and weighing less than the earth, they have little or no atmosphere. But what if the earth were slightly bigger and heavier than it is? Then the earth's gravitation would be stronger, and light gases, such as hydrogen and helium, would take longer to escape from the atmosphere. "More importantly," explains the science textbook Environment of Life, "the delicate balance between the gases of the atmosphere would be upset." Or consider just oxygen, which fuels combustion. If its level were to increase by 1 percent, forest fires would break out more frequently. On the other hand, if the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide kept increasing, we would suffer the consequences of an overheated earth. Another ideal feature is the shape of earth's orbit. If the orbit were more elliptic, we would suffer unbearable extremes of temperature. Instead, the earth has a nearly circular orbit. Of course, the situation would change if a giant planet like Jupiter were to pass nearby. In recent years scientists have uncovered evidence that some stars have large Jupiterlike planets orbiting very close to them. Many of these Jupiterlike planets have eccentric orbits. Any earthlike planets in such systems would be in trouble. This proves nothing. The universe is massive, huge, so big you don't even know how big it is. There are a lot of chances for Earth to appear, given the number of galaxies (somewhere around 50billion or so, I think) and the number of stars in each (around 500 billion). It's not like there was just one star where it was a "Ok, there's only one shot at this, let's hope it works!" sort of thing.
  14. ^Mmm, great song. Mastodon- Hand of Stone. I picked up their Blood Mountain album on Saturday. It's very good. Very atmospheric.
  15. I have noticed these double posts have seen a huge spike in frequency since the board switch. I even made a triple post by accident once. It just goes so slow now, and if it didn't look so nice I'd have a problem. I think it's because the flood-stopper works in a different way. After clicking add reply, you can't open up a window to reply to another thread for a while, but if you click the add reply button from posting multiple times it will double post. The new system is sorta stupid. It means if I post something in one thread, I can't start typing a post for another thread for like a minute. To bad people do notice that you can delete posts. The option is right there right after you click edit. So why do people edit posts just to say "Double post" when they could click delete instead? What do they think it helps their post count? (No offense intended.) Wait, you can? Really? Alright, I'ma try this out. If I'm lucky, nobody will ever see this post. Edit: Damn, can't find it. Where is it exactly?
  16. See, I would think it to be the opposite, someone guilty of nothing (well, you know what I mean). You know, to get the full effect.
  17. 1. Using my feet as hands. I can sort of do it already, but only for picking up things. I'm talking full dexterity here. We may have the brains, but chimps have the awesome. That's it, really. Can't think of anything else. Oh, no, wait 2. Highly complex mental math. Like trig functions and long strings of various operations. Edit: alright, those are really more superpowers than skills. So I'll say handwriting, because mine looks like the page got hit with a flak cannon.
  18. Wow. No kidding, my Calc teacher just went over this today.
  19. That's funny because she's from Sri Lanka not India. Well, you know me. Politically incorrect as I can be. Mirrorforced, I know the one you're talking about. I've seen it. It was terrible. "Adaptation", it's called. I still can't hear "So Happy Together" without thinking of that movie.
  20. My only complaint about that movie was the music. I know MIA is the only good thing to have ever come from India, but did they need so much of it? Knowing. I must say, I have never seen a movie that suffers from Indigo Prophecy Syndrome. Hard to say exactly when it crossed the line, but it was probably somewhere around the time the giant whiffle ball descended from the sky. I mean, I see what they were trying to do with that movie at the end there, and that whole concept, but they really should have made that idea into its own movie apart from the rest of the plot. The whole "Predicting every disaster, then they end of the world" is a fairly decent concept, but it really didn't need the aliens and a tie into Genesis. It was a pretty good movie before they showed up. Actually, no it wasn't, I never really noticed before now how bad of an actor Nicolas Cage is. This picture about sums it up, and while watching I remembered it but thought it said "National Treasure". Not that the referenced movie makes much of a difference.
  21. I think he tries that, doesn't he? I don't know, I never read it, but I heard that somewhere.
  22. This is like if I were to go to buy a sofa, but right before I paid, I threw the money into a sewer grate. The seller didn't recieve his money, so he didn't sell the beast.
  23. Mastodon- Bladecatcher This is the stuff bad trips are made of.

I'm fairly certain that that's a pre-existing joke that someone had the pleasure of throwing out over Omegle and getting an actual return.
  25. Can you stop spamming? It would be okay if you were at least funny. He wants to get up to the Chicken [bleep]er rank (or whatever it is, can't remember). I didn't know we had a "Kentucky" rank. I think I have to watch that South Park episode now. I'td probably make more sense than the actual religion.
