Never said you in particular. Last sentence was meant as a blanket statement. It's ok I don't need to hear your stories, my opinion is you will feel "overmoderrated" if you have frequent brushes with these issues, which is caused by "posting on the edge". That's just how I see it, because personally I haven't felt the need to argue with mods or anything.

Cheating in games with codes built in? Fine by me. I always unlock all Rock band songs because I cba to play through them one by one. But things like botting, or modding an xbox to give an upper hand against others unfairly? I don't think it's right.

I assumed you were talking about issues in the past since you mentioned it. But since you never specified what exact kind of problems you argue about with the mods, I automatically assume the more controversial topics. Tbh, stick to spamming/trolling your friends in Blogscape, and take it away from the pictures thread. That's just what I think.

Can I be blunt too? I've never had any of those problems. Maybe you and your group of friends weren't always "trolling for fun", saying oh this won't hurt anyone, then you wouldn't have those problems. My feeling is this, you & co. seem to think you are better than the rest, as evidenced by the tone in your post, and that you somehow can troll topics and expect to get away with it. Topics which include a playstyle different from your own will make you want to troll it, but why don't you just leave it alone??? I haven't seen Golvellius trolling in a while, maybe you and your friends should stop too eh?

I would say it is ethically wrong. I would morally have no problem with botting, but my good gaming ethic has always kept me from doing so. Another person might say instead as the main reason they won't bot is because 3rd party programs are too risky. Practical outlook, that. Wouldn't be surprised if a few who think that way decide to write their own - and led to this blow up of the botting problem. EDIT: It's become clear the line's been drawn, those who believe Runescape is serious business they'll bring real life morality into the question, and those who are in, "it's just a game." Hah! I bet they botted their straight A's. Intelligence has no link to morals so that is a pointless thing to bring up. As somebody said a page back, it is desensitising people to cheating. It doesn't suddenly make somebody a law breaker, but if you spend enough time somewhere cheating, lying and scamming, it is logical that will have some effect on your morals elsewhere. Also, prove that botting is inherently wrong and not just wrong because Jagex says it's wrong. Umm what?
