Can you even show me one example where someone got one of these huge noted drops which the monster had never dropped before the update and where no RoW was used? Until then, you can't convince me =/ I don't even own a RoW and since the update I've gotten 500 noted big bones from dark beasts, and 12 dragon daggers total so far from about 8 slayer tasks. 2 came from a black demon task, 3 from an iron dragon task, 2 from dark beasts, 4 from a steel dragon task, and I don't remeber where the last one came from. I've gotten none of these drops and I've been slaying. Just my luck I guesss.

Ahh I see, but with barrows, it's random and might take a LONG time to get the set you desire. But with PKing, you can target the ones you want. Like if you want dharoks, just go for a lucky korasi/veng combo, and for ahrims, torag etc, go hybrid.

The ROW got a teleport to the GE and Miscellania, which is far from useless. Also the mages will continue casting spells with lower mage thing was explained on the other thread. Something about not losing autocast. Main thing is that you still can't cast ice barrage at 94- mage.

Hey, this makes a huge amount of sense! It does seem like a bot deterrent. Yup, makes a lot of sense. Well, if there weren't bots for slayer it would. :razz: It gives drops that are usually accumulated by botters, which makes botting less "valuable". I think that's what he's getting at. Not people botting slayer and getting the drops. If that were true, then it would be the opposite of a bot deterrent.

Umm so these drops aren't as common as some of you make them out to be. Didn't get anything after maging them for 2+ hours. But I did loot 100 snaps on the ground. Free 1m woohoo!
