I was hoping this update also meant that familiars/pets would follow you better as well (more accurately, not getting stuck behind things, etc.). :/

The name of my first account was taken in a previous sweep after being inactive for only 2-3 years :( ----- Is there any way to view the names released after R? The news updates stopped linking to the spreadsheets after that release (and the forum stopped updating after M).

Was anyone in F2P actually able to get the grouping system to work for joining a public group? Everyone I've talked with has said that it just puts you in a group by yourself (and this has been my experience as well).

Then store should cover it. If i was in your position, i would push them to repair it. You already know that a refund/replacement is going to screw you over. Repairing it might only solve the issue temporarily anyway (till it happens again), but in my opinion this is the only way you should proceed whether it's financially viable for them or not. The problem is also that I need it for my colleges/lectures. You might also go to your school's tech department and ask for help. Both the community college and university I attended had this option for teachers and students (in extreme cases).

No, you won't. The only reason you should ever have to re-authenticate is if, for some reason, you think that the QR code or 16 character code got out of your control and might be used by someone else, at which point they give you a new code (they should, theoretically - I haven't tested this out yet, but not changing the code each time doesn't make any sense). You won't have to re-link the authenticator on your computer/smartphone again, no, but you do have to enter the short code generated from the authenticator once a month. So it's the same code every time? Or will that have to be generated every month?

When you authenticate your computer will you ever have to re-authenticate the same computer in the future? (In other words, does the authentication expire?)

Could the title be updated? (To remove the " - Coming 16th June" part.) On today's update: I hope removing monster aggro isn't permanent, that was an extremely appealing aspect for me.

That was the name of it! A few months ago I was trying to Google for it but couldn't think or the name or even how to phrase the query to find anything about it haha. (Archive.org should have been obvious though, I have no excuse for that slipping my mind.) I would love to try it again sometime (if I could remember my login).

I met my first friends through a clan and they continue to be my best friends all of these years later. But the game itself: yes, that was an absolute waste of time with terrible ramifications on my work ethic and focus.

The presets definitely make my list of favorite updates ever. So amazing for skilling.

A new rare? I am not opinionated in either direction about this month.

Bought the C Rapier when Frost Dragons came out, and then proceeded to never actually get members or even play RuneScape much because of school... (what a nice use of a month of my summer getting 85 Dungeoneering, haha...). So yeah, I guess I'll definitely trade it in for 50% tokens haha. EDIT: Oh my god, you have to be a member to destroy it.... :wall:

I get these all of the time on the email address that I use on RuneScape fansites (well, just TIF, Zybez, and RuneHead), it seems that the websites get breached a lot.

Sort of off topic (but relevant to the recent discussion on Runetracker/Runetrack): What's up with RuneMonkey still being up after all of these years? I visit it every so often to see if it's still up and it always is, though definitely abandoned. Does it have any use, why is it still up after all of these years? (Maybe the ads still make the creator enough money per year to make it worthwhile?)

The lag is terrible for me, it seems that the chunk division is right between the scrap and where the builders are? (Where the wooden thing is that you walk over to get into the crater.) I notice it freezes and reloads everything every time I have to step over that. Probably my biggest complaint, however, is that infuriating random zoom that occurs when you get close to the fishing shop or a building on the other side (so basically walking between the buildings causes it to zoom in and then you can't click on NPCs or objects until it zooms back out - accomplished by whipping your camera about wildly).

Everything has been covered pretty well. To add to the Woodcutting suggestion, I would say powerchop at Rimmington (few/no people there) and remember that you can drag logs out of your inventory to drop them (makes it fast/easy to drop since you can't place them in your ability bar and spam-drop like with other skills, and I like to avoid right-clicking things at all costs).

So a simple comparison of our current UI and the UI first shown in the RS3 announcements: Overall it retained a lot of similarity. Some things stick out, though: 1. Did we ever find out what that envelope (circled in the chat area) was during the beta period (before it was removed, assuming it was ever included)? I was hoping so badly for an offline-messaging system... though it was probably just a game-message tab. 2. Colored names in chat (assuming it would have been determined by if they were a friend, clanmate, etc.) 3. Missing icons in the main menu. Solomon's thing is still there, in a different place, but the Gambling box is yet to be added (and that scale thing, whatever that's supposed to be for). 4. Forgot to circle this, but in the WIP pic's minimap it said the name of the location, in the current version it's a static name for the window (Minimap). 5. I would love for smaller inventory spaces like the inventory in the WIP pic. Further, it would be sweet if inventory spaces and icons in other tabs would dynamically resize based on their given space.

The discontinuity with the "M" bothers me, haha: http://runescape.wik.../wiki/Moderator Maybe Lmods have no actual mod-powers (e.g. muting)? EDIT: Yes they can, Jagex is just derping or there's some other reason behind it.

Wishes/critiques: Really wish I could close/hide the menu bar (with the 8 icons) and the ability bar (I might as well say that everything should be closeable). The ability to stretch all of the windows (e.g. abilities bar) as much as you want, rather than specific dimensions, would be nice (to fill gaps when placed between other windows, it sucks with how windows have so many different dimensions and cause weird gaps, it's like a terrible game of Tetris that you can't win). If you could somehow drag the Chat Info tabs to their respective Chat interfaces (rather than separate tabs), basically a second-layer nested tab - it could sit in the same row as the filter options, for example (clicking on it would show the people in the chat, clicking again would hide the list). The ability to have a tab strip on the bottom of windows as well, not just the top. Option to make windows or areas of windows click-through (just like how the chat window used to be). Ability to drag out the "tabs" in the Abilities tabs (especially magic, so I could have both teleport and combat tabs open at once, for example). Also, is there any way to change chat colors yet?

A few factors: 1) For whatever reason it lessened stress/anxiety when doing homework. (By far the largest reason.) I quit about 1.5 years ago and still haven't recovered, failing classes due to overwhelming anxiety, unable to concentrate, depression heightened, etc. (life after the MMO sucks). 2) Social activity, clanmates are awesome. 3) Rankings (when I was an f2p skiller), competition is rewarding.
