Other active RuneScape forums include Zybez and RuneHQ (not much has changed there). Though you should definitely look into joining a clan and using their forums instead (the topics will better pertain to you and your interests, overall the communication tends to be a better experience). 6 years ago wouldn't have been terrible yet.

I'm 16 and I have more than 10,000 hours invested in computer and gaming... It's an average, and as Viv said above: "We don't know the standard deviation or anything so its kinda useless too. But if thats all young people not just gamers then that means as gamers our hours on scape aren't too wierd when you think about it."

Nobody drew attention to the ending comment: He might as well just flip Bitcoins, I'd imagine it's less risky (and doesn't pose the risk of problems arising with a company). It's just funny that he says he'll continue flipping when Jagex now knows about his identity and account(s), and NYPost seems totally oblivious that this is against their rules in the first place.

Buy essence at Varrock East, spend a few hours making Airs at W16 airs, spend the next week selling those airs at Varrock West. I can't believe I had the patience to spend a week, at 10+ hours a day, just spamming "selling airs 14 gp." The GE was the greatest thing ever.

I think that's the result of Chrome's default display behavior for highlighted text, although it might actually be in the CSS of the boards themselves (I've highlighted "example" to show): You can override this if you really wanted to: CSS3

I definitely am. I have like a 1/10 chance of successfully getting into the lobby, and then it'll log me out after 15 seconds if I don't click Login fast enough. Also, if I switch the the World Select screen it shows a blank screen and then logs out....

I wasn't having any of the fps problems that people were complaining about for months, but as soon as Jagex "fixed" these problems now I do have fps problems... wtf.

The game has existed for over a decade, and with accounts getting auto-generated by bots I expected much, much more than 200m accounts. That really puts Facebook's 900m figures into perspective.

There's also either a 20k or 30k gp-value drop limit which makes it harder for new accounts to transfer money :)

It seems like it's being offered to old F2P accounts and/or those with higher total levels (I started my trial about a week ago).

Both green and drumgun are over 1400 days. everyone else is below 1200 that is relevant, i believe s diamant y and maybe some cwer that i dont recall have more than 1200. Does anybody else find themselves unable to log in if they log out in RuneSpan? It freezes at 50% loaded for me, I've only been able to successfully log in once over the past 12 hours. EDIT: This only happens on w61 where there's lots of people in the RuneSpan.

Bonfires actually sounds very awesome, it'll be interesting to see how it works (and how annoying bonfires by banks will be).
