  1. I've always had a problem with God plus damnit. So I've taken to saying "Gorram". And I' learning Mandarin curses. Ahh, I love Firefly.
  2. Do you understand the American political system at all? Democrats and Republicans are the exact opposite (fore the most part). Republicans are right-wing and conservative, whereas Democrats are left-wing and liberal. No, I would agree with him. Most of the Democratic Party are right wingers/Centrists. Obama is a centrist in my eyes...leaning to the right. Democrats' official stances are typically liberal and left-wing. I somewhat agree with Obama being a centrist, but as I see it he leans far more to the left than the right. A few exceptions.

  4. Would you mind finding the quote? I can't bring up Google :? (Sweet Jesus that smiley is like cocaine.) While it IS disgusting what people do to animals with slaughterhouses PETA crossed the line (again) with this one: http://blog.peta.org/archives/2008/08/c ... stic_a.php Of course. PETA could probably compare a terrorist attack to a slaughterhouse.
  5. At least you have some fun stories. That you will make up. Involving a bear and you saving a family from it. The Royal Gorge bridge was scary as [bleep], as I remember it. Winds were reaching about 60 miles an hour, and it's a suspension bridge (one of the highest from the ground, if not the highest). People were told to get off the bridge, so we went to the side that would be trapped if it blew away in the breeze. There was also a little ride there, that went within a few inches of the bridge and cliffs. I did not lol. Also, the people in my town are terrible drivers (as are my parents), so I'm used to just sitting in the back and sliding around. I am not making it up. I was riding behind and my dad was driving it. I sorta dozed off and my foot went into the wheel. Hours of surgery to reattach it. I meant you could make up a heroic war story. For the ladies.

  7. Do not underestimate the powers of of the gosh-darn-heck trio. Their wondertriplet powers may activate.
  8. I can't say I've heard of the Mothers, but I've always been a Beatles fan. The nonwhimsical songs like "I am the Walrus" are my favorites. Good, old-fashioned American drugs + Englishmen = something wonderful. :
  9. If you mean Obama, its not his age, its his (lack of) experience. EDIT: And why are people so afraid to be called "racist"? Kinda off-topic, but I've always been curious. I can understand blatant ignorance, but in most cases its harmless. :?
  10. My school makes the football players sign waivers in case of death. >_> (American football)
  11. We have one somewhere. They just don't get enough votes to even be slightly mainstream. And why would you want a dictator? Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. :?
  12. Answers in bold. Doesn't really happen to me much, but, meh.
  13. In before "I don't [bleep]ing curse". It isn't a big deal to me. Everyone does it. I try to be better at it around the ladies, but a lot of them curse like sailors.
  14. Well, I don't know how that would be classified. But you could try Pandora, it'll find stuff like it. Free, and you just make an account with your e-mail. Really a great website.
  15. I'm probably gonna see it sometime soon. Celebrate the end of summer with my friends. It's ridiculously easy to sneak into R-rated movies. And I think it was either the same director or producer as Superbad. That's why so many actors were the same.
  16. True, but he'd already proven he was crazy and strong. If he made even a slightly violent motion towards anyone else, I believe they'd have grounds to take him down. Even if it didn't kill him, it might have saved someone else. Although I don't know Canadian law in that area at all, so I'm just speaking from what I've known to happen.
  17. Ouch, maybe you should put some "Ice, Ice, Baby" on it. Of course, CDs never did do much to heal. The only things I've even injured badly are my neck and wrist.
  18. I hate them both, even though I have more conservative views. Full of greedy old men (and women). Doubt that you could get a dozen good people if you put the sides together. By the way, am I the only one who, at the beginning of the election, thought Ron Paul was the Pope? I was thinking "Hold on a second. Zombie Pope for President? Awesome." We do need more parties, like Finland. Its just that those two are so wealthy they'd be able to beat any new party that tries to spring into the mainstream. (And voting for the "cool" candidate is stupid :? Unless he's a zombie-Pope.)
  19. I prefer home-made sugar cookies to either of them. Mmm, with sprinkles. And frosting. OH MAH GAWD. Or cookie cake. Which I want at my birthday, because it's so delicious.
  20. That would be scary. I've seen those things in National Geographic. Aren't a lot of them about as long as a person's hand?
  21. Azerbaijan's a nation? I did not know that. Anyways, this sounds pretty bad. Hopefully it won't get out of hand. As you said, I'm sure it won't lead to a war between the US and Russia, but we'd still better hope it ends up okay.
  22. BREAD IS THE DEVIL. ITS SOUL MUST BE PURGED IN THE FIRES OF OUR EARTH. Oh, whoops. I eat bread. I think we trow those pieces out for the most part. Of course, by the time we finish a loaf of bread during summer its starting to mold.
  23. I meant soldiers from Iraq or Afghanistan, actually. And I thought you meant complete socialist-capitalist-democracy, not what they're implemented in those nations (which has worked relatively well), as that would be a utopia. EDIT: And I wouldn't mind health care and energy to be government-managed, that would probably fix a good deal of problems. Might create more jobs for electricians, too.
  24. Those damn Mayans. A plague on their nonexistant house!
  25. Quite a post, mage. I only have one thing to say, as I'm really not involved in there. Well, a few things. You say it's disgusting when people metaphorically spit on them. What about when people literally spit on them? When protesters swarm funerals, and bodyguards are actually required? Just wanted your opinion on that. I'm guessing you find it as terrible as anyone. A capitalistic, socialistic democracy would be a complete utopia. But, in the world's current state, it's impossible. People are too greedy, and too unwilling to give up quite a bit, even if it is for the greater good (which I sort of believe in, sort of don't). Just my two cents. Well, four. That's how many "paragraphs" I used, so, quite.
