I've heard the 90% figure a lot also: agreeing that it's a bad idea (unless you want xp as FAST as possible, that is). Personalyl i've found my death rate to be somewhat higher than 1/10, but never past the poitn where it's cheaper to pay farmers. So, basically, don't pay farmers. What i do personally is, pay ONE farmer for one tree: the one bound to my nature ammy, and don't pay the rest. Just make slife easier.

Slayer. You're close to 55, which is a VERY useful level to have for lots of reasons. ...I'm at 55 and I use the neitiznot helm for example. I know that with 60 it would be better considering dragon sq and other stuff... I mean 55 slayer, not defence (uless your sig is out of date). Go for either 55 slayer (broad bolts + thingiemebob spell) or 65 for dusties.

It's faster though. As for fly fishing, you should just heavy rod or monks but, if you must i don't think it makes much difference. I'd go shilo, probably will give you slightly more cash with little difference in XP.

Your stats are high enough to get away with it, you'll obviously have to bare in mind that you're going to be spending more per trip than anybody with a familiar, so if you read any guides accoutn for that. Use bunyip the second you can, but until then. Your inventory should be a super set, 6 prayer pots (4) and the rest the best food you're willing to use: as well as a teleport out and a games necklace (used for getting there). To gain access, talk to otto godblessed nearby, he makes you do some things like heavy rod fishing etc, eventually he'll let you in. Find a guide on barbarian training. Personally however, i think it' be better for you to go dust devils or something until 68, but that's just what i reccomend, you're by no means unable to kill waterfiends effectively.

Yes, you can do it. However bare in mind that most guides are written for ~85 range and defence: so equip accordingly for YOUR levels. Also, learn all the safespots, there are 4 BIG ones that you migth be using a lot.

Oh yeah speaking of the keys: basically, if it doesn't go on a keyring, it's either very easy to get back, or you'll not need it again.Really, how often do you use those? Only keep what you use, or what fits on your ring.

The ONLY stuff you need to keep: half keys, glarials amulet (thoguh its reobtainable), cash, slayer gems. Bullroarer you should keep, i THINK they added a way to get one back but i'm not sure, so hang on to it. Everything else is either unneeded or VERY easily reobtainable.

It's after a certain amount of time: somebody else can tell you how long (i'm guessing 10, 15 or 20 minutes), regardless of how many people are left.

If i remember correctly you get a few from searching the skeletons in the previous room, where you foun the orbs and stuff? You'll also get a sickle, and you can recharge your pouches on the dead vines in the druid room.

Well, i don't know, but my guess is that, since ankous are roughly the same level, also udnead, and DO have loot, they're superiour.

In my exhaustive tests, barehand has always been slightly slower than a harpoon. Barb harpoon is slightly faster, but even over a 50k shark sample i don't think the difference is enough to say for sure. At least, this is for sharks. I've not tested enough for swordies. This is also all at 99. I've heard reports that strength level can affect barehand fish speed: all my tests were with 99. Of course nobody ever agrees on this, and i don't think the difference is enough to matter, but that's what all my tests have shown.

It would drop even more, because right now lots of halves are alched. If it was profitable to make the shield, nobody would alch, so lots more would be in the market, and there's just not enough demand (hence them being so low right now). I imagine it would drop fairly quickly, then just continue its current slow dwindling spiral downwards. Nobody wants them :s

You'd get 50% support, 50% flames, and jagex wouldn't implement it from your thread. Good idea, been suggested before, and didn't really come to much. But really, fight caves is nowhere near as hard second time round :P you'd have no problem retrieving.
