  1. Found something new to try, tubing while being towed by a jetski without fearing jumps because I am too tall for the tube (the kind you lie down and hold onto the rope) really sore from it -.- But atleast I know that the PFD works, and that after spinning underwater I know what way is up
  2. #-o He should have all his beer confiscated, nothing is more of a torture for an Aussie  Either that or find a loophole to have the award revoked from his posession....
  3. Try these guys. They don't say where they are based, but you can try calling the number on their site to find out, it is toll free. If they aren't then look here. Even if there is a bit of latency it isn't that bad,I am using wireless, in the middle of nowhere and still get good kills playing games, so it's not that bad, plus your downloads will take no time at all. Even wireless is faster then what I could get when I lived in the city (I hate Telstra so much, only decent cabling is in the State capitals, where there are too many people using the same cables)
  4. I am pretty sure you don't need to install Java, I didn't, and not only that but I didn't have to update any drivers, or download anything apart from an AV program (I chose Kaspersky, annoying me)
  5. I wish my tv was fixed, I miss playing with Homer and Friction on zombie mode.... "Don't kill him, he just wants a hug!" :P
  6. I almost love you
  7. actually this thread functions as a satiris statement against the mass of news threads weve been receiving, thread maker was brilliant in choosing this method of complaining. Except he's not the first to do it. That fact pretty much speaks for itself. [citation needed] sorry, had to be done
  8. Try joining, runnning to a captured point on HQ and the game ending before you even get near it (happened like 8-9 times) -.-

ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't go jetskiing today, I may get to go tomorrow, but right now I just wish I was at home, the weekend has been boring. Not to mention nealry all of my friends in the area are going to the beach tomorrow, even the girl I like and I won't be there to go! BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Smash that xbox and Homer will temp ban you on SGP lol
  11. The mods don't count words in posts, nor lines. Control Panel ---> System ---> Hardware ---> Device Manager Meh, I'm thinking more along the lines of them worrying about what might seem to be spam. I might be overreacting, I'm used to dealing with sensitive mods from other sites. It's an Agere Systems PCI Soft Modem. Does that answer the question? If not, tell me where to find more of the answer. Where are you going with this? To Compfreak: Yeah, I live out in the country. That still doesn't mitigate the fact that I really should be able to SOMEHOW get the full 56K out of the modem, unless if it's something with the provider. Either way, it should be possible to "direct" the connection to give me more speed by optimization, it's just that I don't know which of these programs are trustworthy and which aren't, or even if any of them work. Care to help in that department? Oh, and nobody provides satellite, and I live in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains. Kind of rough for a signal to get out regardless. I don't live in the city, as you rightly guessed. Satellite will work aslong as you can see the sky, so does wireless I believe, so see if you can get it. We had to as it was either wireless or satellite (which was too much, even with the Government rebate)
  12. Death of childbirth? Baby grows up and kills parents. Its the same baby. Not sure whether I should accept the 1st one, as it is generally caused by the pain of labour, not by the cbaby itself. As for the second one, by the time it is grown up it is no longer a baby, it would be a child/teenager/adult.
  13. What about a baby, but the baby musn't die from the killing, so no launching it at high speeds, or shoving it down the persons throat, or blendering it so you can inject it into their bloodstream.
  14. Or there's those friendly trees on the side of the road. Not if you are driving along a freeway in Aus, it it illegal to pull over unless your car is broken down.

Going on a holiday to somewhere near Foster for a few days, should be fun, I even get to go on a jetski!!!!!! Actually that will probably be the only bit I enjoy, going places with my family isn't generally fun, especially since they want to do stuff while I want to sleep :wall: not only that but mum generally thinks that things that I hate doing would be fun, if I thought it was fun I would have asked to do it...
  16. Ok, thanks to Mamong I got enough space (I also deleted a whole lot of junk I never use) and so I burned the beta onto a DVD using an iso burner and when I booted and hit F12 so I could select CD/DVD drive, it just loaded up normally, why is this?
  17. I should see if my problems are related to that, I NEVER turn off my laptop (still got some month old updates to Vista that haven't taken effect because I never rebooted)
  18. Whatever the problem is, it is affecting more than you, I am unable to send messages while using WLM 8.5 yet when I use Pidgin I get no issues at all.
  19. Awesome, thanks, and do you have any clue what the two unnamed drives are? As I am wondering if they are of any importance or not...
  20. I used to love Vista, but now it is becoming annoying, plus it keeps BSoD in sleep mode for some reason. Also with adding a partion, I came accross a problem with shrinking my OS (C:) drive, and also are Recovery (D:) and the two blank partitions needed? [hide=image is xbox hueg!][/hide] I don't think that you have a large enough HDD to try out W7. For me, it needed like 23GB, and if you can't shrink it by that amount you'd have to upgrade from Vista. I would keep the Recovery drive, it's great if you ever run into trouble. W7 is great, but don't kill all your future options just to try the buggy beta. :? The main issue I am having is, I have 30GB of space, yet I can't use it for a partition

[hide=image is xbox hueg!][/hide] i wouldnt delete that recovery partion. when you get a virus that destroys windows on you its your last option. without it you would have to go and purchase another copy of windows (if you couldn't fix the problem of course), or try and get a recovery disc from your system manufacturer. It came with CD's for EVERYTHING installed on the laptop when I got it, and if I need to redownload things I honestly don't care, as I'll only download what I will be using, aka dl it when I find out I need it, will reduce some clutter on my laptop anyways.
  22. baha, I know what I'm doing on April 1st...

  24. Don't compare Vista and Windows 7 to each other, they may look similar, but they are very different beasts under the hood. I was saying that from what I've heard, not seen, it is better then Vista, which I am getting sick of.
  25. install it on a new partion if you wish to backup all your firefox details theres a very useful tool ive used many times: MozBackup it backs ups your entire firefox profile (all bookmarks, cookies, extensions, saved passwords, browsing history, absolutely everything). its extremely easy to use, takes about 30 seconds to make a backup, and then you can take that backup to any computer with firefox, and it takes about 30 seconds to restore a backup. then its just like you were still using the first computer, you would never know you have moved all your data across. Well, from what I have heard about Windows 7, I give up on Vista (BSoD in sleep mode ftl) besides once I get my desktop I am gonna turn this laptop into a Ubuntu laptop (used to dual-boot)
