If you were President, what would you change/add?
alter the gun laws, reduce the driving hours required to get your P plates, completely ram up the speed of internet and put our dollar above the US dollar, making our country even more awesome (oh, and make the coat of arms feature 2 drop bears)

What would you name your first child?
I'd be too busy why shaking it won't shut it up, and why it doesn't want to eat steak to think of a name, that's a wife's job...

sharing internet with a USB wireless modem, possible?
Ok, right now I am really annoyed by my younger sister and her ranting so I will ask Tip.it for help. When we moved we discovered that they won't do ADSL out here, only dial-up (no way) and wireless, so mum got a wireless modem, and so far the only issue is that we all want to use it, at once, all the time. So being the only tech savvy person in the house I was asked to get it to work on all computers through our network. Both me and my friend have been able to do absolutely nothing with it, and so I need someone who may be more knowledgeable in this sort of thing to help. We have a D-Link DI-524 Router, with everyone connecting via wifi. I am using Vista with SP1 while the others are using XP with SP2. I have tried going into the settings and allowing the USB modem to share it's internet, but it doesn't cross over to the router (they both appear as seperate networks.) If you need any more info just ask. A speey answer will be greatly appreciated, I hear the cricket bat calling...

help setting up home network
Yeah, just go buy a router, there may be a bit of setting up to do, but it's easy, just plug the modem into the WAN port and plug in the computer into the 1 and 2 slots, all using ethernet cables.

Most amount of time you've ever put into a video game?
I playe RS for an average of 8 hours a day for 3 years plus a bit this year so that's over 9,000 hours  good thing I recently quit

Enlistment (and stuff)
I wouldn't be able to, my hearing is really aweful, especially in my left ear and I would find it difficult to hear the orders I am being told :?

Gun Control
For self defence perposes I wouldn't want a gun with more than 2 shots before needing to be reloaded, mainly due to the fact that I wouldn't need to fire more then 1 shot, and just incase my warning shot wasn't good enough... infact the only reason I would want a handgun is because they are light and I could easily fire it with 1 hand, I wouldn't want something powerful anyways, if I could get one with low penetration (and a gun licence) I would be happy> I am far away from the police (nobody in my town is in the police force, next nearest town is 15 mins away) so if I can scare the idiot off, and disarm if needed, then I would not have to worry that loved ones would be long dead before help arrives.

What do you want for christmas/hanukkah?
video camera, will almost def be getting one, unless mum comes up with her 'great' last second discoveries which she has, thankfully, seemed to have stopped, but knowing her it could pop up the worst possible moment (I would rather get a new desktop, custom built, that I would pay off later but mum says with the current ecconomic difficulties, plus the fact that we just moved, that I will just have to save up and get one later -.- )

Please help! My friend is suicidal. =(

Enlistment (and stuff)
Just how screwed up is your country? I imagine most people wouldn't say what you are unless if it's very VERY corrupt in the national government. At the moment, very. I mean we already have aweful internet, and they are bringing in this manatory filter which will do very little for anyone who is over 10 and aren't computer illiterate. Plus the PM won't lower the Super so there will be more money to ease the ecconomic stress. Not to mention our dollar went down alot due to it too.

Your opinion on violence and killing in video games?
In Aus it is rated M, infact games and movies are more strictly rated, with quiet a few games having to be altered for Aussie viewing.

My schoolies story
Why? Both formal and schoolies is one in a lifetime. I'll have a better night staying with some mates an setting up a LAN party, or just causing havock in town (not like we ever do :anxious: *cough*rooftopincient*cough*)

gas guzzlers vs gas friendly cars
I would rather get something bulkier and with a stronger body then these stupid, small, light 'smart' cars. After all, if you had a head on with a semi you wouldn't feel too smart. (Aussie tv show reference ftw.) Jokes aside, I would rather be in a bulky car that costs me more per litre that is less likely to crumbe in a car crash, than a small, cheaper to run car that dints from little pebbles.

My schoolies story
won't have one, I left school, not even going to the formal 8-) forced to go to the awards assembly thing though :wall:

Christmas Controversies
lol? How many people attend the midnight Eucharist, or follow advent without the need for 24 bits of chocolate to help them count? You don't have to be a practising Christian to know that Christmas is a Christian religious festival. Neither do you need to be religious. Come on, get real. The majority of people celebrating Christmas in the UK (perhaps not in America, given it's significantly more Christian) couldn't give a flying [bleep] about Jesus. I respect those who keep to its original meaning, but Christmas for the majority these days is nothing more than a national holiday, with a chance for retailers to rake in the profits. That would be because those people decided to keep the holiday even though they were no longer Christian, or because most other people are celebrating it. If you want to complain about a religious celebration then don't celebrate it!

Turning 18
In Aus 16 has sort of importance, we can get our L plates, get laid, buy knives. Only the L plates and buying knives interests me...
