Most amount of time you've ever put into a video game?

Featured Replies

So, what's the most amount of time you've EVER put into a video game.

As for me, I hate to say it but, I've wasted over 132 hours on Yugioh World Championship 2008. My second most was THUG2 with 20 hours.

Probably Runescape when I used to play it. I've put many hours into Bf2 / CoD4 but not as much as RS and its longer than the hours I've played on Xfire as sometimes I cbf loging in or just forget.

At once or overall? [Discounting MMOs/online games because ive probably spent more time on them]

Overall; 150+ hours on FFX. It took me so long to beat all the dark aeons. Particularly the dark sisters/yojimbo due to their numerous OHKO. That and getting all the legendary weapons maxed out. Dodging 200 bolts of lightning in a row, for example, is tedious and infuritating if you lose count and fail at attempt 190.

At once; 25 hours straight on Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Goddamn this was a good game I dont even know why I spent so long playing it but the achievement of 25 hours straight looks good on my profile. Platinum award and everything.

Runescape, Starcraft, Oblivion. All have hundreds of hours probably

WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME

#1 Wongtong stalker.

Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

Lets see, about 6 years. Go runescape I guess.

Let's take a quick look at my Xfire (And I'm rarely AFK in a game, so it's all good...)

Silkroad Online - 324 hours

I have no idea why that's so high. It's a MMORPG though, I'm not surprised.

Civilization IV (Warlords) -171 hours and counting

I say the "and counting" because I still play it every day or two.

Age of Empires and Age of Empires: Rise of Rome - 164 hours

I put these together because one's the expansion, don't think that number will change...

Combat Arms - 101 hours

I play during holidays as that's about the only time I can consistently play, went up about 20 hours over Thanksgiving.

Everything else is under 100 (BFME is the next one, 54 hours), though I didn't use Xfire when I played RuneScape. I played RuneScape for about a year and a half (So I'm estimating 500 days), averaging an hour a day. 500 hours. Part of me just died. (I'm only listing PC games as I don't think I've played that much on consoles, Brawl/Melee would probably be the highest, I have no idea how long)

Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu.

Over 100 hours on both Banjo Kazzoie games, so over 200 hours on the BK series. 100% on both games. Worth it.

Played Runescape for thousands of hours.

Other than that, probably COD 4 cos i got about 25 days playing time on that :o

Gears of War 1 also very heavy hour count and Shadowrun if they had counts on em.

Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.
Sounds like Jagex to me...

Besides Runescape . . .

Probably Pokemon Silver. I think I was approaching 100 hours before the internal battery died. RIP best game of my childhood.

I have around 672 hours on COD4.

I think the most I've clocked into a game was something like 40hrs for Oblivion and I've yet to beat an Oblivion gate..

tFtfA.jpg

Probably got close to 300 on Morrowind, and it also is the longest play session (around 10AM to 2AM for a week or two)

I'm unsure honestly. RuneScape definitely tops the list, and I know for certain that I've clocked in 35 hrs of Kingdom Hearts 2 (My brother popped it in last night, although it's scratched pretty bad and won't play a few of the Roxas-Prequel videos, so we can't start a new file). Super Smash Bros. Melee is probably very high up there as well, because I had that for years, until Brawl was released.

I'm a bit unsure of the rest tbh. I don't have online, and I have a tendency to forget to finish a game, for ex.I went back and realized I hadn't finished TLoZ:TP until a few months after I had reached the Final Boss, and I got Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn LAST Christmas, and I just picked it up again a month ago.

I gotta make a list of games to finish :ohnoes:

Now I'm gonna actually keep track (or notice the timer) in my games #-o

I wanna say kingdom hearts 2, like 370ish hours... I'll have to check again

Well Runescape was a game I played a whole lot. I don't know how much time I spent over the 3-4 years that I played it. Next go's Battlefield 1942. That game was awesome, I probably spent 200 hours on it. Then all of the Pokemon games. If I can count all the games in the series, then I've spent a whole lotta time playing them all., restarting, and playing again. In fact, I bet I've spent 500+ hours on all the games, and thats just a rough estimate.

According to my x-fire profile I spent 602 hours on CS:S. I haven't played that since April 2007.

If I enabled RuneScape tracking it would probably be over 3000+, at least.

snowsigyy7.png

RuneScape. I have probably clocked over 1000 hours on that, and my account wasn't that amazing :/

what do you mean internal battery?

You need it to save the game. It was a common problem with several silver cartridges that the battery died after so long.

"In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

Probably RuneScape.

Then theres Final Fantasy X with 92+ Hours at my least check, probably 95+ now.

GTA IV probably has around 60 hours combined (including online play).

Hmm, GTA: SA kept me busy for... I think over 100 hours, I'll have to check.
