Yup. :( Although I do think #2 looks sort of unique, it seems quite random and messy but in a good way IMO.

^ What pryo said basically, the new background is indeed quite a big improvement. The text isn't too bad in this case because it fills up some of the relatively empty space, but in the future I'd definitely only add it when it's really needed and make it less big/distracting.

It looks like crap to put it bluntly. Ever think about taht??? Lol, you can be so mean yet so funny sometimes. :P Anyway, I agree. Good luck on the next try though. :thumbup:

Awesum, just be careful not to use too many colours though. But at the moment it's really good. \

Just one question about the vector: why is the flower stalk thingy black? :? But it's pretty nice IMO, although indeed quite simple.

I also think the canvas for the dragon piece is way way way too large. It's going to take ages to fill that with decent quality stuff, and I don't think anyone would have the patience/skill to do that correctly on their first few pixels. I'd recommend starting out with way smaller canvases, maybe even avatar-sized ones. That will just make it a lot easier to actually finish something that you yourself can be proud of.

D: I really can't say I like it. At first glance, it's just really unclear what the render actually is, mainly because it's so big and takes up so much of the canvas. The tech-ish overlay lines are really bad and just distracting/not needed IMO. The fractals seem out of place and random too, they just don't help the flow/background. I think the colouring is pretty bad too, everything just doesn't look natural at all. I do think the main thing you need to work on is render placement (including how to scale it appropriately) though, since IMO that's where it went wrong.

Can't say I can really 'see' what it will look like when it's finished, but I'm sure it will turn out well. :thumbup:

Nice stuff, yay for having more good (signature) artists here. I just generally like the simple, clean style on most of these. The last one is definitely my favourite though.

^ I'd have to agree. The LPs typography just seems too random, actually I'm not sure about having text on it at all. The other two pieces are decent, but there just isn't a lot to them IMO.

^ Probably on purpose. I do think you could use a more interesting subject, although the first shot seems to have to have a decent composition.

Apart from the random C4Ds and text, I think it has potential. I'd just get rid of the current background altogether, it just doesn't work well with the cleaner, more vector-y look of the render and pentoolings IMO. But if you add some more shapes and patterns, I think it could look pretty good.

First one is pretty good IMO, apart from the dead center focal point. #2 does indeed seem to have colour and contrast problems.

I really like the first and second ducky photos. The colours are nice and soft too.

That "thing where all the artists are" is extremely outdated for the main part.

Yes please. And I love that rabbit-like thing on the bottom of page 2.

Could look alright if you add some contrast like said before, and a more interesting focal point. It's quite bland at the moment.
