  1. ^ Yeah it doesn't work for me either, hope this one does:
  2. I really like both, adding them to my sigspace on PR now. :D
  3. Nowhere, I've just been busy and lazy. :P
  4. Very nice. I agree with Nadril, you have a really good eye for composition and colours. Awesome, I'd love to see more of your work.
  5. Size: 400x200ish. Sun Position: Overhead. Mountains/ short description: Yes please. \ Not that many of them, and pretty low, so more like... snow dunes? Icebergs? Water: Yes please. Clouds: Just a few of them, a bit like the ones in your banner in the first post. Season: Winter (although it's always very cold where the penguins live). :P Anything else: Would you mind if I use it on PR? And credit you of course.
  6. ^ Yeah it does look pretty oversharpened and LQ, which is a shame, because I think it could be a very impressive shot.

  8. No problem, don't worry about it. :
  9. Could you make me one with some penguins on it? :D Can be just a few of them, or a whole colony, I don't mind. You have the free reign over anything else too. Thanks in advance.
  10. You're welcome, it was very easy to do. \
  11. Very few adjustments, if you want me to try something else with it just ask. :D
  12. I'll give it a try. \

Looks pretty good, some of the effects are a bit LQ/noisy though, I'd erase some of the effects that are covering her face/hair as well. The text isn't really needed, although it's not that bad or really distracting. Oh, and everything around the focal could use a bit more contrast too.
  14. Brighten his face a little bit, it's really dark at the moment which makes it hard to see any detail. I'd chop off a pretty big part of the blackness on one of the sides too, that way the focal won't be in the dead centre of the canvas any more. Other than that, it looks pretty good.
  15. V2 looks pretty good. The text doesn't work too badly either, I'm usually not a fan of those clipping mask squares, but they actually look ok here.

Pretty cool. It can't compare to Photoshop or Gimp completely though, Sumo Paint still lacks some features that might be essential to (professional) artists (like the pen/paths tool, or certain layer modes or smudge options), and there also doesn't seem to be a way to save/export layered versions of images (unless I just missed that). But especially for a completely free application, it's really impressive.
  17. Looks great now. Using Lightbox seems like a pretty good idea, although I also think drop down boxes would work very well too.
  18. I like it, it's something different. The texture actually works pretty well to give it more of an 'old' feel IMO.
  19. I like it, three small things though: Not too sure about the square preview images inside the boxes with rounded corners. It just looks a bit strange, I'd round the corners of the images inside them as well. Also, it looks like some of them are positioned inside the boxes slightly differently than others (more space at the top, that probably didn't make any sense). Same with the Software Used/Render Size etc. texts, their placement is a bit sloppy. That's probably something you were going to fix later though. I think the titles of the pieces should stand out a bit more, maybe try a bigger font size/different colour. Good job so far though.
  20. What the hell? That blocked due to abuse thing is weird...
