  1. I got the lights on in level 3, but I can't figure out what the message means #-o

Altogether a relatively boring day today. But whatever - it sets up the story, so...
  3. Hehe... "Bein' lewd with two dudes and food..." That's one of my new favourite songs. (If You're Into It)
  4. Pretty nice! I liked the solos, just like everyone else did. They were good. You need to get people more into it though. Tap your foot when you aren't playing, but tap your heel, not your toe - it makes you look more interested the more movement people see. You're the main guy out there, along with the singer - you need to look really into it, like you're having the time of your life all the time =D Great job, especially since it was your first time!
  5. Admittedly, boredom did drop a few RCers. However, the number of runecrafters has shot up since the last update. Why? Because people believe that PKers were a danger. Anyone who had runecrafted for any length of time through the abyss had realized this. However, the possibility of being PKed was an issue for some that stopped them from runecrafting. Hence, the price of natures has dropped to the point where I've stopped runecrafting until prices stabilize, and bought tons of essence in preparation for the massive price increase once bots are killed. That's how I feel too.
  6. I like them. They're not quite musical enough for my tastes, but they're funny. I liked The Humans Are Dead and by them as well.
  7. Beautifully said, Qeltar, as always. I'm always happy to read another of your articles, and this one's better than most. You raise some points people really do need to look at, and then systematically destroy other people's points of view, which is, after all, what essay writing is all about, no? Convincing someone you're right? =D I noticed that the only people arguing with you were, as predicted, PKers. Interesting. And I also noticed that most of them attacked you personally rather than your article. Does this prove your points? I'd say so. Well written. Ten kittens out of ten.
  8. I wondered about this, myself. If he's in until he's 83, why bother trying him on twenty more charges? Honestly, were I able to, I would not. It's a waste of time, taxpayers' money and the lives of the witnesses, the families of those murdered, and the jury in particular, who don't get paid enough and could lose their business if they own a small one because of jury duty. If they don't, I'll be just as happy.
  9. Well written article! Unfortunately, they're not quite my kind of music. Little too musically simplistic, from what I'm hearing so far. And too heavy. But I can see where the appeal comes from, they sound better than most other bands of their genre I've heard. On second thought, I quite like The Quiet Things Than No One Ever Knows. Still not quite my type - not in the melodic range enough, some of their lyrics sound a little non-harmonic - but they're better than I thought from the other one.
  10. Yeah... All I can say is that this is very very bad for the abyss... (Yeah, Freesia, I don't feel like doing ME2, so natures are the best moneymaker for me right now, except cosmics, and I want the experience.) I hope they make it more dangerous without bringing back PKing, because RWT just isn't cool.
  11. Ahmahgawd! Jagex k0'ed someone!

Blasphemy! How far did you read? 'Cause there was the guy a couple weeks ago who read a page and said it sucked. =P He got flamed to death.
  13. Oh, thank god. So... Life with parole after 25 years. That's good. So, if he gets any more charges in the trial for the other twenty (which I'm sure he will), will his sentence be increased?
  14. Brilliant article to both of you! Kudos for taking the updates and showing all the points of view. I share both points of view in that it could be fixed. I especially like some of Qeltar's ideas on how the updates could be changed. These have some great thought in them for such short notice - I only wish I could write like you. BTW - does this mean Armadyllo is Editorial Panelist #2?
  15. I think they were all drug addicts, and they all lived in a poor section of Vancouver. No idea on whether they were hookers or not.
  16. Nice one! 1k total is a landmark for anyone. And I love your runecrafting... Runecrafting = ftw. Nice fury too.

Lol... Poor Ash... Her friends all have been seen naked by her father. That's gotta be pretty brutal. thirdchild tells us that it's gonna go for eighteen books... He's done seven, and he's into year four now... It's gonna be a while.
  18. He speaks it just fine, his syntax and spelling are pretty good. It's the punctuation/capitalization that he has problems with XD
  19. I don't live anywhere near there, but my mom listens to CBC constantly, so I've had a steady diet of Robert Pickton and that other Robert guy that got tazered... I think exactly the same way. I can't see how he wasn't charged on the full sentence of 6 counts of first-degree, based on the coverage I've heard...
  20. More Trans-Siberian Orchestra: Wizards in Winter. I love this band noww...
  21. Everyone's heard on the news about the trial of Robert Pickton. For those of you that haven't, here's the story. Robert Pickton was a pig farmer from Port Coquitlam. He was charged with twenty-six counts of first-degree murder. He was accused of luring women from a poor section of Vancouver to his farm and murdering them with his pig-slaughtering equipment. (Gruesome, eh?) As of today, the jury has charged Pickton on the first six counts of murder. After eight days of deliberation, which surprised many who thought it was a cut-and-dried case, and over ten months of courtroom time, the seven men and five women of Pickton's trial came to a decision over the first trial, which only included the first six counts of first-degree urder he was charged with. The remaining twenty will be tried at a later date. The jury came to the decision that Pickton was guilty on six counts of second-degree murder. Many believe that it was obvious Pickton had killed the women. However, the defence managed to shed doubt on one of the Crown's main witnesses, and so the jury were forced to convict on a lesser crime. The jury refused to make a recommendation on Pickton's sentence, where they could have recommended he serve his full twenty-five year sentence without parole. (The other end of the scale was ten before eligible for parole.) Robert Pickton will be sentenced for these murders on Tuesday morning. He will be tried on his remaining twenty counts of murder at a later date. Now, I think Pickton should have been sentenced on all six counts for first-degree. However, obviously the jury isn't me. I know many share my views - a professional from Vancouver who had worked with many of the women who were killed has said that Pickton deserves to be given life without parole, and the seventeen "witness impact statements" given indicate huge emotional stress on those close to Pickton, the women who were murdered or those with close ties to anything involved with the trial. Each of the witness impact statements was emotional, and nearly every one was against Pickton. The statements do not have an impact on the verdict, merely the sentencing. The full story can be viewed at cbc.com. Discuss.
  22. I think you're probably right. Honestly, the GE has slain resource gathering entirely, but that's not what the post's about. Resource prices have been dropping for a while even before the GE, and Jagex fixed the MTK prices years ago. So it's obvious they'll be outdated sometime, unless Jagex updates MTK to reflect market prices, which they won't do because it might be equated in some twisted minds to admitting they were wrong, and they don't do that very well.
  23. I think you got it right when you said "another noob". I'm going to choose to interpret it as "a different noob from myself"... If you're going to restate someone else's ideas, at least do it in a way that adds to the discussion without flaming anybody. And yes, they confirmed that the life rune will not be used. I don't think birds' eggs will be prominent either, except maybe in high-level summoning, unless Jagex introduce some other way to gather them - they're simply too hard to get. There's no way powerleveling is going to involve supplies that are that rare. It's akin to dragon arrows in fletching - sure, it's good exp per, but the supplies are too rare. Anyone have any ideas on how to powerlevel summoning? If it's anything like most people seem to think, it's gonna be pretty hard to level...
  24. I kinda like the black outline too. The hair's coming along pretty well - however, some of it looks shaded a lot more lightly than the other parts. Looking good so far. And 5-string basses ARE ftw.
  25. Lol, I get that a lot... My name just isn't girly enough. I think it's more shock that there's a girl perving over Misfile :P . I don't think he reads the Misfile thread XD EDIT: Holy crap, but we must really want people to see us. 29 pages of pictures in a day? Wowzers, guys... Wait a sec... Forgot to check the AM/PM. Is it a full day, or a half a day? Hmm...
