Private servers
The only ever time I've been tempted to use a private server was for Jad practise without having to do the waves first... Tbh, I know they are against the rules but I think they're a good thing. They let people that don't want to train the "official" way do so well away from me, and they'd only be using bots in the real game otherwise.

quick question regarding prices
herbs -> everybody wants high herblore levels to get extreme potions. knives -> you can't buy unlimited numbers of bronze knives from the rogue's den for cheap now. damn... Jagex has done it again with the shops. Thanks for the update and let thread die. Actually with regards to throwing knives, the reached their price ceiling AGES ago (think bronze was about 16 or 17 gp) same with iron and maybe steel, can't remember. If you had them in any great quantity (1k+) you could sell them with junk for a higher price (I was able to get 100-120 for a bunch of irons I made. Then one day Jagex decided to lift the price caps and they are only know reaching the levels they should have been in the first place. EDIT: just checked the GE graph, the price cap was lifted on the 14th may, just look at the 180 day graph for bronze knives.

NO NO NO! If I put an offer in for max, I expect it to be bought some time within the next hour. What I do not want is for me to put my offer in, have the GE update, my offer no longer be max and for me to never get my item. I apreciate it happens now but to a much lesser extent There should be an option to have your offer at max update as the GE does and just to take the difference from your banks cash pile. Like max is 10k, you offer 15k, so that even though you can't pay more then 10k, the offer at max will continue updating until the item is over the limit specified, in this example, 15k. In that case, why bother having a max in the first place? To limit the rate at which prices can increase. But the original suggestion is to increase the rate at which prices can increase.

Anyone can help me?
Hate to disappoint you but you won't be profitable at 80 craft. Actually, you won't be profitable at craft ever. The only way to do so would be to make something that had a rediculously slow xp/hour. If you're determined however, I suggest things like amulets are always in high demand (due to string jewlery). You can also make holy/unholy symbols. My advice would be to train up a different skill if you want to earn cash. Combats are always handy, otherwise rc is a great earner gl

What to buy with my cash?
Hes not going to get much prayer outa 23mill much less after buying fury, gonna leave him at like ~10 mill couple lvls there no more than 4 i'd have to say. Sorry, I was in a rush for dinner when I wrote that. The thing is he should definately buy a fury as every decent account needs one. Then if he buys only 75 pray, he can BRD to 78, the NR to 79 (which is what I did) and then be pretty close (about 100k xp) to 80 which is leech def and is a particularly handy pray. Assuming he has regular popular items (barrows top and legs, whip etc) I think this is the best option. In my opinion, saving it is possibly the worst thing you can do. Having a massive cash pile doesn't help unless it's in your inventory. Skills and equipment >>>>>>>>>money

crafting 75
The standard way is green bodies with (or without) sc needles. When you get much higher, I think black something is only marginally more gp/xp and much faster. If it helps, I recently made a few hundred green bodies and they all sold at mid relatively quickly (within half an hour)

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Yes. I was able to get summoning xp from all those quests (well the ones I hadn't done) after summoning was released even though they were out before summoning. Whether you should bother using them on dung when you can't get tokens that way though...

guthan's set and blood magicks
The real question is: Magnets, how do they work? OT:Guthans set affect is called infestation. I'm guessing you can still infest and draw energy from undead creatures.

Fastest Ranged XP spot in F2P?
Sorry, no xp/hour, but if you're going to 90 from 70, it won't be a big deal to go and do an hour at each of them yourself. And yes, so long as you bring enough arrows, as you won't be taking damage from being in safe spots (expecially in the last one) you can stay there forever. Though if you do go to ice giants, you should bring some alching runes.

Fastest Ranged XP spot in F2P?
You already have a high range for F2P so that changes things a bit... IIRC Ice Giants are the 3rd highest and you can either train near the blurite ores or In the far north western wildy (which is decent for picking up EP as well as people rarely go there on F2P) flesh crawlers are the 2nd highest (there's a safespot in the south western corner of the south eastern room on floor 2) And the absolute most is on the mountain north of falador, near the oracle, go to the edge and you can range the guards outside the black knights fortress. They have stupidly low def and there are 3 of them who respawn really fast because they are quest monsters (if you don't have competition from someone else, you will never have to wait). Please note that although this is the best xp/hour you won't be able to pick up your arrows.

Sumona's KQ slayer challenge
IIRC you can get a friend to help you with the first form and so long as you deal the majority of the damage overall, you complete the task. so get in a couple of hits on the first form then solo the second. Good luck though, she's a lot harder than she seems...

14 Day Bans for Bots
[hide]quote name='bladewing' date='13 May 2010 - 06:45 PM' timestamp='1273772731' post='4273408'] We are being punished by having to spend more time and effort acquiring the same things that cheaters can obtain while asleep and leaving a botting program running. Regular people who put in the effort to get decent levels that feature in the highscores are having these acheivements lessened by this leniency. It takes LESS effort to acquire the same things cheaters obtain. Instead of spending an hour spinning bowstrings, go mine rune for an hour, something bots don't do, and buy a thousand bowstrings and pocket the difference. Bots cause cheaper materials which makes playing the game easier for legitimate players. It's a positive side effect of bots. I DO NOT THINK BOTTING IS A GOOD IDEA OR A FUN WAY TO PLAY THIS GAME. However when other players bot menial tasks, I benefit. Yeah, because people leaving one of these running overnight, getting loads of cash and then driving up the price of things is a real possitive side effect of bots. Edit: Whatever lower prices there are going to be due to botting materials, high end items for which the money is gained are going to be driven up. There are no possitive side effects, you'll always lose somewhere. High priced high end items is good for me, since these are the items I gather. And 100k gp/h is awful - I make more money in 15 minutes than that player makes in 12 hours botting over night. But yes, there is always a downside. [/hide] It's a very old picture. I saw one a few days ago on an image board that was getting 420k an hour on a sub level 50 account :( And if that guy is earning 160k an hour, and he leaves it on overnight (8 hours) that's 1,280,000 he'll wake up to in the morning. If you can make that in 15 minutes (that's what, over 5m an hour?) then I would very much like to know you money making methods. But I digress, your original question was how are regular players punished, and I think, I've said how I perceive this to be the case.

14 Day Bans for Bots
If Jagex really cared about this, they'd just throw a couple hundred k of what ever material (eg coal) onto the GE for mid. We wouldn't notice it and if it was done over enough materials over a long enough period of time, it would go a good way to sorting out inflation. I think this is a horrible step back for Jagex. I haven't and never would cheat in this game along with the vast majority of users and it is us, the honest players, that are being punished by this leniency. How are you punished, exactly? We are being punished by having to spend more time and effort acquiring the same things that cheaters can obtain while asleep and leaving a botting program running. Green Drags/Aviancies
Green drags will be better money, though I cannot stand them and therefore if it was up to me, I'd go aviansies. In the end of the day, it's better to go with the one you enjoy more.

Various slayer questions
Cancel tasks you don't enjoy, are slow xp or that you don't have the supplies to do (for instance if antifires aren't buying at max and you get a big metal dragons task. You can't say to use super sets on every task, there are always exceptions. For instance I got a 60 scarabites task a couple of days ago and to do it, I did the level 41 in a pyramid in a quest. I was pretty much 1 hitting them, super sets would have been overkill.
