I wanted to stop reading as soon as I read this line. Saying that there are "better" capes means you recognise that some capes have merits over other capes. By recognising that the cape has merits, you are recognising a reason to wear it. Meaning that I have no idea why you decided to make this topic. OT: People do it because they can. There are innumerable reasons why someone would choose to but ultimately, it comes down to the fact that they can wear it, and therefore they'll find a reason why they should.

(I have already read every other post on this topic) In answer to your question: NO, it is NOT possible to obtain more than 1 effigy at A time. However, it is perfectly possible to obtain more than 1 effigy at DIFFERENT times. Meaning: You can't get then as a double/tripple etc. drop. But it is perfectly possible that you can get a new one and pick it up/bank it while already owning at least 1. (I'm sorry that I'm the only one that read the question this way, but that's the way I understood what he was asking when I read it)

In that case use a FSH. Tbh, broad bolts are fine for all the waves so bring about 1k of them. Use diamond (e) for the 360's and jad. Be aware that many of the safespots will prevent avas device from picking up your range ammo and as you'll have a full invent, it'll be hastle for you to manually pick them up. That's why I use broads for the waves. Setup: Full slayer helm Fury>Glory Karils body/d-hide (d-hide is fine) Veracs skirt Unholy book Snakeskin boots Rune c'bow archers ring (even if you're only buying it to sell back straight after, I'd use this. You should have more than enough pray bonus from unholy book). Invent should be: Diamond bolts (have broads equipt) EE, 3 range pots, 5 sara brews, rest sup restores. You can get away with prayer pots/ sharks, but I don't see the point. If you're going to be doing it, you might as well maximise your chances as much as possible) At the end of the day, stats, invent and equiptment only count for the waves. Once you get to jad, it's all about skill.

I'd be happy with separate rooms for each floor, similar to BA.

Don't forget your FSH/Hexcrest. It'd be mad to try without it.

Can't really help you on cost, but for mad fast xp, you can always try barraging at sw on themed world. Aside from that, stringing is widely used as a fast training method. Both of these are quite costly.

In Response to the 1st article. Lovely read, agree with you on your interpretation of bots on runescape. Only disagreement I have is your suggestion that having the GE update every trade (like the stock exchange does) could be anything other than an awful idea. The reason the stock market can work like this is because people spend their entire days (and some nights) watching the markets waiting for the right time to make a deal. As it stands, I can put an offer for something at max price and be reasonably certain that when I come back from my slayer task the item will be bought. With dynamic updating, all it would need would be for 1 other trade to go through for max and suddenly mine wouldn't be the highest any more. It could be only a matter of minutes before the price is so far away from my innitial bid that there's no chance of me getting the item. Yes I believe that there are problems with the current situation, however in this case, I believe that the cure suggested is worse than the disease.

I dont think it would unless you could find a way of gettin 2 Effigys every 3 hours consistantly - then you would be gettin 30k xp per hour in say RC and would be reasonably fast. If there is a way to easily obtain 2 every 3 hours then it would be a good way to train RC but you get no bonus cash from Rcing, unless your corping and may make more than RC in the long run :mellow: Is there any monsters that drop Effirgys that consistantly? Ive gotten 6 in 200k Slayer xp. Apparently TDs drop them at a very high rate. I know I've got about 4 from gargoyles and I slay VERY casually. I also got one from cannoning dags but I don't know the droprate as I've only had one task, but if it's decent and you can cannon them effectively... Also, if you do hunt for them, if you find yourself a decent monster, it's very possilble that it will have decent drops which would go some way towards the loss of RC money problem.

I'm asking this here because I think you guys are the most able to help me. Theoretically, if you already had all 99's. Would training through effigies be faster than training via conventional means for some of the slower skills? I'm not talking about the efficiency of training more than 1 skill at once. I mean, even if you were maxed combat stats, would effigy hunting be a faster way of training a slow skill (Say RC) than actually crafting the runes?

Enhanced excalibur is amazing there if you have it. Personally, I went and completed seers hard just to make fight caves easier.

Thanks for the input! Grats on the +1 to post count. You don't get post count in H&A Tbh, I agree with him. I cannot see the point in waking up one morning and thinking "I know, I'll go get a 99" and then sticking at one skill for weeks on end. IMO it's a lot better to just train the skill you enjoy the most, or feel like doing the most at any one time.

Wow, and I was certain that I got mine from gargs... I wonder where I did get it from? Tbh, I belive that you should treat them to be about 10x as rare as a clue scroll.

And why did you use Bandos boots for that?

Bandos have +1 pray and +1 stab, slash and crush defence Dragon have +4 str. Attack bonus difference are only for mage and range (therefore not worth considering). Only other factor is what they protect over (B high alch = 15k, D High alch = 12k) and bandos favour in GWD

All I can tell you about battle robes is that they have a similar effect to the SOL with rune saving and they stack with the SOL . IIRC it's a 50% reduction with both effects. They're very very hard to buy from GE (took me 2 weeks of camping to get the full set) or you can buy for around 20m street. Be aware that you can only buy the uncharged version and to charge them you need to get 250? FOG tokens. They degrade in a similar way to barrows. Can't comment on your other questions (sorry) but I hope this helps a little.

Just a warning, she is A LOT harder than she seems. Someone with much better stats than me said she's harder than most GWD bosses. I tried her once for a task, it didn't end well...
