  1. Including banking/set-up time? and supply cost? If so Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice Teach me pl0x?
  2. Thats what I did when I started.. But it was before quick chat, I can't remember if anything would have happened had I been honest. You wouldn't have been able to make an account. Seriously, they blocked you.
  3. Who on earth uses brimhaven dungeon anymore? If you're of a level to complete this diary, you'll be using kuradels. Jad update is meh... it's very rare that 1 respawn will help. I guess it depends at what hp you respawn. Most people seem to think that it's when the healers come that it's most difficult. If you respawn at low HP, they'll still be able to KO you. People don't slay for slayer points, they slay for nice tasks/xp. If they want best points, they'll still use the second worst master for 9 tasks then Kuradel for the bonus XP on the 10th. I severely doubt that Lapalok will be better than that. Tokkul = apparently nice, but it'll take a while before you actually get any benefit
  4. Reposting the same vid twice is 1 thing... Quoting yourself so we all know you posted it twice is complete spam.
  5. stats are straight 85's mellee, 79 range 74 mage (or something like that) IMO: block them. There's a great guide in the AOW about misunderstood monsters (wyvrens being one of them) but as far as I'm concerned, they're just not worth it.
  6. How slow is slow? this skill really wasn't made for pures.
  7. Smelly, you update ninja... Ores for certs? I started playing after Miles & Co. were retired, this could be intersting. Shanty pass speed is fine imo, speed up MTK chat and Flying Carpets if you need to, but Shanty's fine the way it is. Clickboxes on ropes, never really had a problem with them, wish they'd increase clickboxes of Glories in POH Also, no void quest? =(
  8. Any particular reason why you're handicapping your account in this way? I wish you the best of luck, but really, why no summoning?
  9. Gratz... I think. Any particular reason why this was your goal? are you going to use this account to steal the WOMs Blue phat (please say yes)
  10. uh... did you read what I said? Didn't say yours wasn't one of the few, just that bug abusers were ruining the accomplishment. Congrats nonetheless. Now just kill it while wielding only red flowers, no armor, veng, spec weapon, or familiar :P Then you win the game. But for real, very nice  You forgot no cannon (and if applicable no recoil - I obviously don't corp)
  11. Yes you can SS Jad but there's never a reason to. Jad'll pretty much 1 hit you anyway, so you'll go from full hp (when SS is pointless) to 0 hp (where you can't ss) in about 1 second. If you're talking about healer damage, it'll take a lot more concentration to ss effectively than it would to lure/trap the healers.
  12. I take it this is for the fremmy diary. If it is, may I advise that you get up to the appropriate part of rag and bone man/fur and seek where you need a mithril dragon tail bone as you're probably be able to get both things done in the same kill.
  13. OP has already said that he already has the bars, why would he need a furnice? OT: sell the bars and buy yourself some gold ore. Then get the goldsmithing gauntlets (family crest quest?) and start smelt/superheating the ore into bars. Much much faster, and not too expensive when you consider you're getting much needed mage xp at the same time. Can't remember your summoning level but consider having a Magpie out if you can while smelting. It'll help you recoup some cash though be aware that you can't go to the GE while it's out. For more info, see this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qy-Tra5zouw
  14. It doesn't disappear. It crumbles to dust. And it only does so after an hour of combat. Uh, yeah, isn't that what I said? It disappears after an hour. No, you said it disappears after an hour, meaning if you put it on at 08.00 it'll disappear at 09.00 In reality, it lasts for the appropriate number of game ticks when you are either dealing or receiving damage. If I wanted to wear some while making potion in the bank, it'd never disappear.
  15. so because I'm a better welder than you probably are, I am fully entitled the right to push you of the piece you're working on and trying to learn how to do? No but you are entitled to adequately compete for the building contract that is on offer as you can do a better job than he can.
  16. Well hopefully it doesn't remain a "secret". Wonder what device it would be... Maybe it's that "secure pin" device they were talking about a while ago. The keychain that generates a pin for your account to log in securely. I don't see how that would really require testing, so it must be something else. Hopefully something really cool. They said that wasn't going to happen due to a lack of interest.
  17. pretty decent for magic lol... when you can get 2gp/xp highalching gold bars (+100% afk -low xp) and 1.8gp/xp superheating iron (-moderate work involved +155k xp/hr 125k magic + 30k smithing) I cannot imagine how 4-5gp/xp for only 115k-125k hr is remotely "decent cost for magic" If High Alching is "100% afk%" then stringing is over 2000% afkable as you only need to click once per invent and it'll keep doing them all, 1 after another.
  18. Sorry, all I can say is that it's 130 - 150k per hour. I'm sure you can get a rough idea from that. Also, if you want, I'll buy all strung gold ammies from you in trade after you've finished.
  19. That's true, but I specifically said "you do not want to kill them in the eerie". It's really not the best place to kill them, you get less kills/hour.
  20. I have killed thousands and thousands of aviansies and disagree with quite a bit of the advice here. 1: You do not need an arma item. 2: You do not want to kill them in the eerie 3: Enhanced Excalibur is a MUST if you want to be effective here. Let me explain some things. The best place to kill them is directly west of where you enter. There's a spawn for a level 69 and a level 71 which are the lowest levels you can kill, meaning you take the least damage and get the most kill per hour. There is also a Gorak (I think) nearby that will help you kill the level 71. If you ever find yourself with both of them dead, there are plenty of level 80's hanging around. Broad bolts are the most effective weapon to use, with a rune Xbow. When I was about 80 def, I used a barrows helm (not veracs due to the -ve range bonus) and barrows legs with a sara d'hide body, zammy book, archer ring, barrows gloves, fury and snakeskin boots. With your 99 def, you could very probably get away with fewer barrows items (especially with your EE specs). With my setup, I took very little damage and most of what I did take was healed through swordfish drops and EE specs. I used B2P tabs very rarely, though they were necessary to have. Prayer has very little use here as you're camping so long. I'd recommend you use the +5% pray pray until you only have 2 or 3 points left and then wait until you're on low hp and turn on redemption. If you're on about 15% of your hp, avianses can't 1hit you, so I found this to be the most effective use of my points. Bring a fire staff and some nature runes. They do drop nature runes so you won't need to bring too many, though it's better to have them on you than in your bank. Alch rune drag (p) and rune limbs. You can probably alch gems (not certain on this - I know I didn't but it might make sense). Pick up addy bars, waters, earths, natures and alchables. Key halves are VERY rare. I personally picked up airs, laws and feathers as well but that was because I had lots of spare invent places. You'll want to keep a fair few free to make the most of B2P tabs and in case you get swordie drops. That's all I can say without seeing you in game. Hope I helped (feel free to add me if you want me to take you on a trip).
  21. What are you talking about, they do this all the time??? Eg: Dragon Dagger (which requires quests) and Dragon Claws. For 99% of situations, claws are a rich mans dd.
  22. Who uses Oak anymore? Last I checked (a week ago) teak is cheaper gp/xp and faster xp/hour. I was making teak dining room benches (4 planks) with law, air, saw, hammer in invent and an earth staff and duelling ring (don't have a servant yet) so I could use all the planks in 1 trip.
  23. You're forgetting such awesome items as: Helm of Neitiznot (Best all round helm), Soul wars cape, Draggon dagger. And then all the lesser dragon items and the situational pieces such as the crystal bow, Balmung etc. Just as not every TD can drop dragon claws, not every quest can reward you with game-changing items. I really do find it difficult to believe that you gave "this a lot of thought before finally deciding to make this post"
  24. 2 hours a day for 14 days = 28 hours. 28 hours to make 40 mil should be absolutely no problem at your levels.
  25. Sgs

Herb and Sum You're actually not far off the really good pots so I'd definately advise herb. And with your high mage, you could easily burst a few lobs and get reasonably close to titans. You probably can't do both, but these should be your main options.
